Awesome haul Amber❤ That spicy sauce and the garlic and herbs cheese looks really good. That's great you could get all that extra bread for your family too. In this case the 'F' is silent.
It's a French word.
It is extremely comparable to cream cheese if eaten as is on bread. But it is not necessarily recommended to cook with, as it doesn't have the same texture as cream cheese when cooked.

WOW. Nice items. We are in California and receive very little. Carrots, a few potatoes, box of Mac n cheese, and a loaf of moldy bread. You are lucky. Where do you live?
I’m sorry to hear that you don’t receive quality items. I am in North Carolina so on the other side of the country from you. We are really blessed to receive what we do.
This food isn’t cheap and can easily cost more than you think. The sweet treats will save you a lot. It was my birthday yesterday on the 4th and hope you have a great birthday despite everything going on.

I take all my bread that is left over and make my own croutons
Yes!!!! Homemade croutons are amazing. I typically keep my leftover bread in the freezer and then make breadcrumbs out of them:

Hey friend!!❤🎉 great, great haul!!! Wow! I been just like you on the bread and sweets! I agree freeze and you can always take it out as needed! Bagels, muffins,pies that stuff freezes so well! We were just like yalll on bills too our mortgage went up and our cell phone service! I feel ya, thankfully you had that food bank haul, it was amazing! ❤

Thank you 😊 yes it all freezes so well and we just pull it out as we need it. Tell me about it. Trying to make ends meet is getting tougher and tougher. I just applied to door dash and I really hope to hear back soon from them. Right now anything I can do to help bring in some extra income I will. I agree the food bank is such a blessing as it removes at least one stress from my shoulders.
