Back in my day... it was a 2 hour class every tuesday/thursday. I think we did an extra session on Friday of game day. (this was before they got all pro.) BTW trumpets suck, Trombones rule. No one practiced that much. we had actual classes to go to. (except for god damned music major weirdos).
