Thanks for the breakdown of your expenses. It helps to plan! Your ticket, regarding your license, was unfortunate. I know the rental place wanted to make the sale, but they should inform tourists/expats of potential license issues! :) The multiple massages, for the price, was a steal!❤ Thxs again.
Haha, the massages are one of the best things in Thailand, we went back for more and did a more recent video explaining updated costs if you'd like to check it out here: ruclips.net/video/iMVkFW0bwo8/видео.html
Thanks for the video. Very helpful as planning a month or 2 in Rawai starting March. Although maybe things are changing very quickly as the Title in Rawai just asked for 53,000 baht/month for their most basic one bedroom!😮
Thanks for watching and commenting! The Title will be more expensive if you book with them direct since they will take extra off the top. I remember it being more expensive there. Check with the other video and reach out to Charlie whos details are there
Thanks for the video 🙏I have a quick how was tip culture in coffee shops or restaurant do you leave a tips(I’m Russian live in Las Vegas)😂just curious it tip culture big there, thanks 🙏
Ummm, as an English and Brazilian we'd say there is no real tip culture. It's not expected except maybe at fancy hotels. We would often tip local restaurants our change, but that's about it... it's definitely not like Vegas for tipping 😂
@@tjandbtraveling yeah tell me I’m a bartender in MGM grand there 👀💁♂️😂😂😂…good to know, but I do like take care of nice service and people, it’s always getting back to you eventually 🙏…thanks for the video sir, I’m planning to move to Thailand with wifey and my 7yo boy, tired of American Rat Racing life😂🙏❤️
I really enjoyed all of your other videos and I appreciate that you have made this budget video, especially because this is exactly the kind of information that I want. However, do you think that some of these prices have changed now that tourism has ramped up in Thailand and it's back to being busy?
Thank you for the kind words! We're happy you enjoyed the other videos. We will have more budget videos to come, it's interesting! As far as prices going up it's hard to say for me, and I could be wrong so take what I say with a grain of salt. There are definitely prices that are going up, but it's more on the luxury/western side of things (fancy apartments etc), those things are becoming more expensive due the large amount of tourism coming in (many from Russia and China too). A lot of the smaller local places are still extremely affordable so I don't see too much effect there... like I say I could be wrong My advice - go!
We divided costs in: House / Massage / Groceries / Eating out / Coffee shops / Protein powder / Gas / Doctor / Scooter / Gym / Bjj / Extras Was it cheaper or more expensive than you expected? Let us know!
Total costs always have a way to surprise you 😅, otherwise all individually sound reasonable. The accommodation seems a bit more expensive than what you'd find in SE Asia, otherwise good job.
@@StefanRogin Yea, there were places for around half this price available personally, sometimes unfurnished or in other locations. We budgeted for this type of place so were happy to take it. Thanks for commenting
Your best bet is to book a week or so first and find a place through locals. Many ex-pats know of many places to rent. Thanks for watching and commenting
Great informative video! Thanks for all the effort! I hope you break 1k sub mark soon! 🙏🏻
Thank you my friend. It's only a matter of time

Can anyone lead me to someone who rents month to month in Rawai?

Harry never answers his IG dms, how can I get in touch with him?
How long have you waited? I'm sure he'll get back to you
