Here is a idea you can do to get better flames. Find some way to activate the choke while driving. which will then dump more fuel into the engine, causing more flame
Hook up a 12v coil on a switch to the exhaust plugs and have it also kill ignition when you flip it then hold the throttle wide open and hit the switch. Doing it this way you can have a steady flame for a few seconds while you hold it. You can use a relay to ground the ignition kill when it sees 12v signal from your switch.
I agree with @PorousShark7688 in the fact that if you could flip the choke on then that would give you flames. I just bought the same dual carbs as you have on that engine for my modified mower project. Also, there should be some adjustment in your air/fuel mixture on your carburetors. If you richen up your mixture, you will have big flames all of the time (although it will run like garbage and foul out the plugs on your engine) as long as you give it a tiny bit of throttle. My only advice to you is that you should take note of your current adjustments on your carburetors and when you are done shooting flames, then put them back to how they were. The engine that you used in this video looks like the same one as what you swapped into the primer gray lawn mower that you had on the 70 mph mower challenge part two. It also looks like the same engine as what was in your mower that had the hood covered in stickers (now the honda 650 swapped mower) that you were drifting in town in the winter about 1 year ago. Do you just switch the parts between the mowers for the videos or are they all drivable at any time? Not a bad thing, but I was just curious. Thanks for a great video!
" In today's video we are going to learn how to bump start a lawnmower " 2 minutes later... " In today's video we are going to learn how to push a mower back home " Yep, you're right haha 🤣
i get backfires on my engine if you set the idle screw fully out so that your throttle valve fully closed after you release the throttle and then normally you get pops and bangs
By the way if you keep your foot on the throttle when you hit the kill switch it will shoot way bigger flames and be way more efficient because you're keeping the throttle blades open which is dumping way more fuel into the engine which is then getting which thing gets shot out the exhaust which gives you even bigger flames
I think that you may have your spark plugs mounted a little to deep down in your exhaust tubes. Put them almost at the end of the tubes. That way the unburned fuel gets to mix with fresh oxygen and it will burn better.
I put mine right after the exaust port, added some random weedeater coil and it fires after the power stroke, bangs loud and shoots out blue flames. I just turn the iginition off and go downhill last gear, muffler gets red hot
"the engine produces unused gas." -MisterDionne but what you need to make better flames is to put the spark plugs down farther so the gas can ignite easier and it ill make it not only look better but sound better
the bogging is due to too much idle fuel its stagnating somewhere in a bend or sum so it sucks too much fuel on idle or complete opposite no fuel at idle
You got the right idea but you have it backwards running lean is not enough fuel. What you mean is running rich when a engine is running rich it is not running efficiently hence causing flames
@@shaneanderson3076 running a engine lean can cause it to lean pop/ misfire running it rich usually makes for more pops on decel/under load but running a hotter plug and running a bit richer would make a great show under load
Take a bike brake handle with the cable and hook the end of the cable to the throttle, then weld the brake handle onto your footeest, but adjust it before you weld so you can reach it

put turbo in lawn mower😂
Make this top comment
Believe it or not, these opposed twin engines, sound amazing when you put a turbo on it. They almost sound like a 12 valve
I would love to hear it with a turbo, would be awesome
Jeje and leave the sparkplugs in for antilag xD
Two turbos
Here is a idea you can do to get better flames. Find some way to activate the choke while driving. which will then dump more fuel into the engine, causing more flame
I tuned the carb on my moped to do that😂. You need a lean idle and a rich wide open throttle. You'll get some loud pops and flames without sparkplugs.
My Honda Navi does that with only an simple Vance and Hines exhaust with the baffle taken out and the carb rejetted

this is it
The stickers make it an engine that increases its power ? this is crazy 😂
Nah those stickers tho💀💀💀💀💀💀
@@HarryFN11 Yes those stickers are something💀💀 Ngl
turn the air fuel screw on the carburetor somewhere close to the idle screw anb have fun 🔥💥

Nice video man !! Love it
Impressive machine. I love string start. Wish they still sold stuff this way.
Love your videos bro literally 💪🏿
Those opposed twins are fucking indestructible torque monsters
To help with belt slip u can drill 1/8in holes in the sides of the pulley that’s what I did on my mud mower it helped alot
Bro need to make a cop killer lawnmower

if u drill out the jetting on the carb youll throw some good flames
Maybe if you hold a bit the throttle you can have bigger flames, in 4 stroke dirt bikes it works
7:41 😂😂😂😂
Turbo on that bad boy would be sick

You have to kill the engine spark and full throttle the gas to get the flames you want :)
I've always had the same idea to put a flame thrower on a mini bike now I know what to do
The stickers tho💀
don't be suspicious don't be suspicious !!!!!!!

pence tu q'un turbo pourrai s'installer dessu ?
you have to make it run richer
I HAVE IDEA. Put motorcycle chain on lawn mower of no slipping
I bet if you adjust the air/fuel ratio rich, put a bigger main jet, and adjust the slide more rich, you could probably have some huge flames lol
"the engine produces unused gas." -MisterDionne but what you need to make better flames is to put the spark plugs down farther so the gas can ignite easier and it ill make it not only look better but sound better
All you have to do to make it pro frames high flames is set the carburetor to be more rich mixture of gas
You do not need a turbo you just need to mix the gas ritual in the carburetor by your screw
You are the best youtuber ever
damn flames on the lawnmower
Farmers’ Supra😂😂😂
Would thinner wheels work better?
C serait drôle que tu mettes un petit turbo
give the exhaust a venturie air intake and it will fire always!!!
7:34 😂😂😂😂
The best transmission to get for these is either a mst 206 or the better one is the peerless 920
Now you just need a bug catcher and supercharger
Plss show your motor it so freaking cool is it still for sale these days and if yes where Can i look it up
The thing where it bugs if it’s been at idle for too long is because the idle jet is too big😊
Replace flywheel with aluminum or it'll splode. Common issue with those
where can i find parts for these engines tho ?
You should try to build a rear engine riding mower
Could you imagine getting chased down by police Horseman on that?
You make some funny stuff
What lawn mower are you using
3:50 WHOOHOoŒ
Unless you are in a welding contest, WHO CARES if you are a bad welder! I am a bad speller but at least my math is gooder
get some dragons breath and put it on the exhaust tip it will have clouded flames

You should turbo your lawn mower
could this also work on a 50CC derbi bike?

Its running lean at idle causing it to shoot more flames and engine braking is holding the rpm up to high for it to run lean

Are you still going to put that Honda V4 in a mower? I saw it on your TikTok
no the engine is trashed up it was seized ! there was alot of rust inside the engine
What mower is that pls I’m gonna put a 100cc engine in it it’s going to be my Daly driver
w vid
Dude, you should buy my turbo. Craftsman thing will go about 100 mph.
can you make a tutorial on a gas pedal? i am having trouble making one
Take a bike brake handle with the cable and hook the end of the cable to the throttle, then weld the brake handle onto your footeest, but adjust it before you weld so you can reach it
PLZ DO MORE
Someone beat me to it but definitely put a little turbo on it.
Put the two exhaust together
When are you gonna put a motercycle engine in a lawn mower? 😅
Would be cool but definitely more fun to try to make a slow motor fast imo lol
nice, you need to do some work to that crankshaft tho, poor thing is abliterated lol
yeah it is abliterated hahaha
What is on that engine
Kickass.
How did you make the variable speed mower not blow a belt every 100 ft ?
make one of your belts is probably to short so it stretches to much and snaps

Take it to a two step
Your gas and break pedal are reversed compared to the pedals in idaho
I would pay so much money for that thing

pearless 6 speeds

Slightly bigger jet in the carbs
