I really appreciate your guidance for a starter like me. According to the OpenSky app the flying is allowed in the park nearby my home during the day. If no people there, can I fly a drone? I am in Melbourne.
No problem! Yep, if the app says it's ok and the drone is at least 30m away from people you should be fine! Just make sure you check out all the Victorian drone rules to be sure.
Great video! I’m looking into getting my first drone for travel videos and these tips are helpful. I see you’ve recommended the Mini SE but it seems DJI have stopped selling it :/
Oh really? Try the link in my description; when I follow it it still seems to be up for sale. Otherwise, see if you can find one second hand in your area. I actually got mine on Facebook marketplace for something like 40% cheaper than brand new. And it's been great.
I see that's my city too bud! Although originally from ireland, just bought the DJI mini 3 and taking it for my first fly, your vids have helped me a lot, have you got one on linking the controller to the app/your phone (I just got the default controller - can't remember what it's called but not the nice one with the screen). Thanks again!
@@NickKendall hey mate so when I change the FPS to 30, the shutter speed to 1/60 and the Iso to 100 obviously we have that overexposed look, but when I apply the filters it just looks crazy dark for example (lets say its a bright day) the ND16 won't be dark enough and then the next one might be too dark? but when I leave the Iso on auto or manually change it to higher it usually looks a lot better however I've seen multiple videos that say leave it at 100? any help here? would be much appreciated, can I leave the Iso on auto and keep the rest of the settings to get that motion blur? Thanks mate, love your videos
Hey mate, yeah just adjust the iso. It won’t affect the motion blur. Just keep in mind if you make the iso too high it will make the footage start to look noisy. As long as it’s below 800-1000 you should be ok. But experiment and see what works. If you’re bumping it up that high you probably need to take the ND down a notch. Hope that helps! 😊
What lens should I get for Mini 3 ?
