悪魔城ドラキュラ ~ Super Castlevania IV (INTRO - SNES - JAPANESE - 日本語版)

『悪魔城ドラキュラ』 （あくまじょうドラキュラ、英題: Super Castlevania IV） は、コナミから1991年10月31日に発売されたスーパーファミコン用ソフトのアクションゲーム。
「悪魔城ドラキュラ」シリーズ初のスーパーファミコン用ソフトである。ファミコン、MSX2、アーケード、X68000でも同名の作品が発売されているが、それぞれゲーム内容は異なる。共通しているのはヴァンパイアハンターであるシモン・ベルモンドが先祖伝来のムチを武器に、蘇った魔王ドラキュラを倒しに悪魔城へ乗り込むというストーリー程度で、ゲームシステムは大幅に変更されているほか、ステージ構成や音楽もほぼ一新されており、新作に近いリメイク作品と言える。また、タイトルロゴやイメージイラストも一新されている。
2006年からはインターネットのi-revoにて配信が開始され、2007年からはWiiのバーチャルコンソールでもダウンロード販売が開始された。
Super Castlevania IV​ (悪魔城ドラキュラ, Akumajō Dracula,? Devil's Castle Dracula) is a platform game developed and published by Konami and the first Castlevania game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was originally released in 1991 and later re-released on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console in 2006. While Super Castlevania IV features the same plot and premise of the first Castlevania on the NES, it also has eleven new stages, five of which take place outside of Dracula's castle, expanded play control, 16-bit graphics featuring SNES Mode 7 and a soundtrack featuring brand new pieces and remixes based on previous Castlevania music.

This is the greatest Castlevania game in my opinion. Those true plateformers were so much better than the "Metroidvania" trend.

I'd like to see a translation of the opening after dracula rises from his grave. I heard this wasn't actually a sequal in Japan but a SNES remake of the first game, so I want to see what was said in the opening.

It says the exact thing the US version says... Here's the translation from Japanese version...
"Every one hundred years, the forces of good mysteriously start to weaken. Thus, the power of Dracula starts to revive itself. His power grows stronger and stronger. Every one hundred years."
"Dracula has revived many times. However, his sinister actions have been consistently thwarted by the Belmont family."
"It's been one hundred years since the last confrontation between Dracula and the Belmont family. But now the serenity of Transylvania is being threatened by destructive forces."
"On a dark and eerie night, Dracula rose from his grave to unleash his destructive power over the countryside."
"Once again, Simon Belmont is called upon to destroy Dracula. With only his whip and courage, he sets out to restore peace to Transylvania."
That's what it says from the US to the JPN version...

Primeira versão de Super Castlevania IV que joguei, lembro de ter jogado no Super Famicon do meu brother Lobo, por conta da TV dele ser Pal M, jogamos o jogo em preto e branco devido o console japonês ser NTSC. Lembro que eu comparei diretamente ao Castlevania Dracula XX que havia jogado, nem sabíamos que erá Castlevania 4 kkkkk, mais tarde quando peguei a versão americana logo notei!, Uéee cade a gota de água que ficava caindo?!. Hoje com os emuladores notei que erá sangue kkkkkkkkk e que a versão Americana censurou PRA CARALEO! kakakakak..., tenso isso.

The plot intro crawl in the American version is a little less clear on if it's a remake or "in theory" a sequel, but the whole game is clearly meant to be a remake
