How many were holding our breaths regarding those eggs? Lol. Another fun video! ❤️
Yes!!! Lol
🙋🏼♀️me!
I did. 🙋🏼♀️ I was sure one of those eggs would pop out and land on the floor. 😂
I was saying outloud Becky eggs, eggs Becky! Lol love it!
Lol
Who else was nervous when Becky was carrying the eggs from the island to put back in the refrigerator and it looked like they might possibly fall out? 😮
Me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So many times I've seen her carry things and I literally hold my breath 🤣
I too was holding my breath, saying please don’t let them fall! It will make such a BIG mess, and Becky doesn’t need any extra work
I literally held my breath !!!
Yessss same
🙋♀️🤣🤣
Becky I love how you knew we would fuss at you for being on the tub, the first thing I thought was “oh please be careful!” We must protect Becky at all costs! LOL!
You need a wooden blind or shutters for the window in the bathroom, which will help you tie in the naturals you want. I love the green! And your idea with the jars is perfect! You decorate very simple and clean, your house always looks beautiful!
There are wood like materials. Have to be careful with mold from natural things around. Steam from shower gets absorbed into many natural pores and reeks havoc. Been there.
I love the green as well!
That's a great idea. Especially before friends giving some sort of window covering.
I agree with the shutter idea, it would be nice to keep open as the view out the window is nice but it could be easily closed for privacy
Bamboo is the way to go. Looks like wood, is very mold resistant.
Hearing Josh say 'it's perfect' and 'thank you' at the end shows what an awesome and wonderful husband he is.
I have been married for 30 years and my husband says thank you, every time I cook for him. That's every day. I know he likes it because his plate is clean. But I know what you mean. They are both just an amazing couple God bless them.
Paint the green stripe white!!!!! It looks dated being green
31 years married and my hubs does as well. 💖
15 years, hubby thanks me for dinner and tells me how much he enjoyed then he helps me clean the table and kitchen. Very blessed!! ❤
@@jennygeorge6591 And that probably makes you more open and affectionate toward him, which he appreciates!
“I know you guys are going to get mad at me for standing on the bathtub, but I’ll be okay” 😂😂😂 this made me lol! You know us so well! Spoken like a true family member! ❤
But no one who has ever fallen while doing things like that had planned to!
You have lots of volunteer mommas, aunts, Grandmas, etc on this channel. We all care about you.😊
No one plans to fall. You should have had Josh hang the curtain. Your balance is off at this point in your pregnancy. Please watch going up and down your stairs too, use the banister. I'm speaking as a mother and Grandmother. 🥰
Same
We not mad ... We care ❤️❤️
I always thought that the green under the tub looked good. I think if it was white, it would be a lot of white in one place. That green is gorgeous.
Dear Becky,
I hope this doesn't sound super strange, but I just wanted to tell you that when I have a super stressful week, your videos are my soft place to land. Thank you for your genuineness and making life a little more joyful!
I agree
With the way the world is going, we all need more of that
I agree!! I always found it weird how people would feel so connected to RUclipsrs knowing the videos were just snap shots of their lives!! But the way Becky does it is so honest!! She said right out the gate what this channel was about and has not wavered!! I hope THIS doesn’t sound weird, but when she says “Hello Friends” I almost Always respond!! I love what your doing Becky and hope u and ur family and friends remain happy and healthy and loving each other as well as u do!!
I agree
The way she already knew her 14,000 Aunties were gonna want to scold her for standing on the bathtub. We love ya, Becks.
I love the shower curtains and green bathroom! If you put the last hole of both shower curtains on the same hook (where it joins in the middle) you won’t have as much problems with water leaking through the place where the curtains join.
Great advice! 👏👏👏🤗
Fantastic idea! Or even overlap them by one hook if it’s still an issue. Genius!
Is anyone else watching Becky and remembering what it was like when they were pregnant and started nesting. I love your videos. I remember with my 2nd child, I had been on bed rest for 2 months(pre-eclampsia) I woke up one morning with an amazing burst of energy. I cleaned the entire house, including washing 4 loads of clothing, dusting, vacuuming and changing sheets on all the beds, then set up the nursery. Called my mom to let her know all was ready for the baby and I only had a month to go. She said," Babe, we will be there tomorrow. I have some shopping to do in the city." She told Dad they would need to be here 1st thing in the morning (a 3 1/2 hour drive) and they were there by 6am. That night I went into labor about 11 pm and didn't call her because I knew they always went to bed by 9. Thankfully Mom put more stock in a pregnancy "nesting" than she did in the doctor and they were both there for the birth of their last grandchild.
Beautiful story/memory💖Thanks for sharing
What a beautiful memory! Mom’s know! My parents had just gone home from Christmas, on December 29th -five hours away, then the next morning I went into labor, called mom and they said they were on their way, and were there on December 30th, just in time for the birth of my daughter!
Moms always know!
What a great story! Thank you for sharing with us.
Love this story Teresa.
That bathroom is so beautiful Becky and you have so many decorating options. I love your shower curtain but I think if you could find a bigger bathmat it would look more balanced. I also think a natural brown toned bamboo blind over the window would bring a lot of warmth like the vanity does, and maybe a houseplant or two. Your home has such great bones and y'all are going to have so much fun decorating it over the years.
Yes… larger bath matt. Maybe a “runner” so person can walk to/from shower & bench.
I agree re the bath mat, or get two the same size. Not to connect to each other but instead a little space in between.
I love the way you are going with the colors in the bathroom. I think the bath mat should go in front of the sink, and then buy a longer bath mat for in front of the shower.
Definitely agree!
Agree!
Absolutely agree!
I was thinking the same thing!
Totally Agree! And black for the curtain rod, etc.
Here are some decorating ideas for you…
1. Place either a larger basket with flat bottom or wooden tray with the jar of Epsom salts, a larger candle or several (odd number) of bronze candle sticks and maybe a medium size vase of eucalyptus.
2. A larger bath mat in the same color and texture that you bought
3. Keep it painted green, it highlights the white trim work!
Your ideas are great, just need some tweaks on scale!
Hope this is helpful!❤️
I totally concur with you! Lol
I was thinking a dark wood bowl or even the refillable candle that was purchased during the conference (and has been on the kitchen island). And a larger at the very least longer bath mat. And I like the green, it would be too much white if the bottom portion of the room were painted white too.
I was thinking the same
I was thinking along the same lines. The current bathmat is not large enough for the scale of the tub area but the texture/design of it is very nice.
The green "stripe" actually helps to distinguish the edge of the tub top & the floor. I have occasional depth perception issues (if there aren't distinct visual clues to guide me) and would likely trip over the edge trying to get in because I didn't gauge the height properly because of "too much" white.
LOVE you decoration ideas about the items for around the tub deck!
What about a wicker basket with bath towels rolled up in it? Also like the idea of a plant. A variegated one would look lovely.
If you turn the shower on hot and shut the door, the steam should help with the wrinkles. Then hopefully you won’t have to take them down. Love the green color!
That bathroom is gorgeous! I love the green color. In that corner that you think is too green, you could add a small shelving unit and put rolled towels on the shelf. I also would suggest adding something taller behind the jar for the Epsom salts just to give it some height in that large area! A little pop of color in some artwork behind the toilet would work as well, if you are inclined. Beautiful job!
Good suggestions! That might be a good spot for the cute little shelf she contemplated in the Costco video. Good space for towels and for guests to put toiletries.
Keep shower curtain inside the tub and start the second curtain on the last hook so it overlaps no gap or overlap the hook . Put a plant where you put the rattan mat and a flameless candle or two that have the beeswax scent ! Bigger bath mat . Everything looks so good ❤🎉❤
I agree with bigger bath mat and one with a no skid backing too...Looks like a long step down, wouldn't want to slip for sure!
agree...add a plant!
@@aligurl100 I agree. The larger the bath mat the better and a no slip rug for sure. I once slipped on a loose rug and smashed the back of my head. Please don't decorate with loose rugs if you love those who would ever walk on them.
I was thinking the same thing. A plant would look beautiful there in a natural color container. A large tray to hold the glass jar, battery operated candle and some beautiful small towels. Definitely a longer area rug.
Agree with the shower curtains and larger bath mat. Maybe add a wood tray.
Get this girl a tv show already, she’s so likeable ❤
I agree 100%
@HGTV Here's your next super star!!!
Hollywood would ruin her- she's perfect just like this on this format. :)
That sounds really nice but sometimes it's more appealing to not be beholding to anyone's idea of your what your show should be.
She could so show everyone a thing or two
I love the jar for Epsom salts idea! Just make sure your jar is an air tight jar because the salt will attract the moisture and I'd hate for you to make a bunch of salt and it go soggy because it soaks up moisture from the air! I love the natural element idea as well! I think the green area that should have been white looks great as green! Over by the window you should get some type of cushion for people to sit on as they are getting dressed/ready for the day!
I actually did the very same thing with my Epsom salts. They don’t really clump up or get soggy 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve had it for around 4 months with no problems. I also use on for my lush bath bombs. It works perfectly and it is beautiful aesthetically.
@@michellepatten7460 I have my Epsom salts in the exact same container as she used here. I simply folded and rolled up one of my nice face wash cloths and set it on top of the salts before closing the lid. It keeps the salts fresh and moisture free.
@@dappledaylight2628 that’s a great idea. I’m glad that works for you 😊 I don’t have any problem with clumping or sogginess though.
@@michellepatten7460 oops Im sorry . I meant to reply to Natasha Smith
I did that with my 4th baby, the night before I had her, I finally finished the wallpaper in the nursery, and deep cleaned the house earlier in the day.
Becky my 92-year-old dad and I are enjoying your channel so much. I have to say, when you stood up on the tub, I did yell, "Becky"! I love the color of that bathroom, and the idea of the vignette in the corner is great. You can use a woven tray with low sides, round or rectangular, depending on what you want to put in it. The canister for the bath salts and candle will be nice. You can also add some washcloths for your guests in there as well. I would keep the curtain pulled back on both sides towards the back of the tub, almost like framing a window, this way you can see the vignette and that beautiful green color when they walk in. Can't wait to see your next video.
The bathroom looks great. Here’s an idea for the stuff you want to set on the bathtub ledge. Get a basket and roll up some towels and washcloths and set them there. This will give you that nice natural element you’re looking for. Then take your jar with the Epsom salt and any candles you want to put there and set them either directly on the ledge so they sit flat, or maybe on a placement of some sort if you want to add a dash of color.
I would suggest putting a plant (palm) in a nice pot on a plant stand in the corner where you think there is too much green in your bathroom. You can get some lovely cane/wooden stands tat will add extra warmth and coziness to your space❤️
I was thinking exactly this! Or a plant on a nice plant stand in a natural wood color.
LOVE that idea!
Yep, a plant. And for the next couple months it could be a poinsettia.
💚 I'm curious how long you baked the oatmeal and what the texture is like with the eggs in it? I've not seen oatmeal baked with eggs before-do you reheat in the microwave? I like the green paint on the lower part of the wall because of all the white of the curtain, tub and bathmat. I definitely like the idea of the natural wood in that corner and also like the suggestions for a plant in that corner with the bathsalts.💚
I like the plant idea, I love Money trees and Dragon trees.
I love your ideas for the bathroom. A suggestion I have is to overlap the two shower curtains so water does not go on the floor when showering. Chicken Tetrazzini sounds so good!
Was coming to say overlap the curtains too. :)
I was going to suggest the same thing.
I agree. one hook or maybe two to make it seem like one big curtain. but over all loving it!!
Becky, I’m new here and also from the PNW, and I must tell you how refreshing it is to watch someone be so honestly “themself” and humble and kind, and trying to do their best to live intentionally and thoughtfully…And I could continue to add a few more and(s) to the list. These videos are a LOT of work. We only see a tiny portion of the work you are doing and none of the real messy moments and struggles you take on with repositioning the camera to capture our entertainment and feeling that we are there in the kitchen and elsewhere, following you around as a welcomed friend and guest in your home. Sometimes I feel like taking in a big long breath for you, letting it out slowly, just to relieve some of the exhaustion I feel for you, just watching you work. It’s no surprise that so many “Like and comment” on them. You are truly likable!!
Just a little slight "baby waddle" when you walk these days ... so cute and you are a beautiful pregnant lady. If you and Josh like what you see in the bathroom that's all that matters. What you did looks nice and mixed metals are OK. We all know that Josh has a gem in you. I also think Josh is a gem. He also works hard, has exceptional carpentry skills and most important he has impeccable manners. I love that he thanks you for what you create in the kitchen which is an indicator of how much he loves and appreciates you.
I am obsessed with seeing a baby bump that I sometimes realize I didn't look Becky in the face, lol.
A wooden tray with the epsom salt jar (with a metal scoop) would look nice. Also, a plant. I love the candles, but use an odd number or a big jar candle! It looks lovely and your instincts are spot on!
I thought the same thing, a wooden tray would look really pretty there
Yes! I was thinking the same! Not only will it look great, but also easier to move or clean under 😊a perfect pop of brown with a little green to boot!
I was coming to say that a wooden tray would be lovely!
Don’t forget a lighter to light the candles
Shower idea: What about white window curtains? You might have to use four panels if I’m judging the size correctly. Window Curtains can be longer and because you have the liners it wouldn’t hurt the curtains. Tuck the liner in the tub and the curtains can hand out.
I’m in love with your guest bath! The color is so beautiful and the vanity sink is gorgeous! I love the home you and Josh are making for yourselves! Thanks for sharing with us!!! ❤
Oh what a great idea to use curtains!! I’ve always hated how the shower curtains are so short.
More white???? 🙄🙄
Made the tetrazzini tonight and everyone loved it! I added about 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce to the sauce for an extra punch but otherwise stuck to your recipe as written. Thank you!💞
I just want to tell you you look all beautiful and sparkly today. Thank you for taking the time to make videos for us. I enjoy spending time with you!
I love the dark green in the bathroom with the bright white. For the sconce lights you might want to try spray painting them matte black - I’ve had a lot of success doing this and saved a lot of money.
That's such a good idea
What kind of spray paint do you use? Do you have to prep the item at all first?
@@nja934 Any spray paint that says it is for metal. Make sure everything is clean and if it is shiny sand it a bit. And be sure to carefully mask anything you don’t want to paint. Have fun!
@@theasevern8012 thank you!
Ive done that too makes them look like you bought a new fixture!!
I like the green on the bottom and the jar idea. It makes me so happy when Josh does taste tests.. he always says thank you! He's so sweet!
Hi Becky, I love the green paint color wainscoting below the tub and your relaxing bath scape idea. To bring in a natural element to your room maybe consider a tortoise shell bamboo Roman Shade for your window, inset mounted opposed to mounting it directly to your beautiful new wood casings. The shade can be ordered with an attached valence and with a dual function to pull up from the bottom or lowered from the top to allow for privacy while still being able to look out the upper portion of your window, I think it will be a nice complement to your vanity and your paint color. Try spray misting your shower curtain with fresh water to release the wrinkles, it works great on most fabrics and saves from extra work. 😊
I love the green in the bathroom. I don’t feel like it’s too much green. I think a bigger bath mat, but I love it in white. I also love the candles in the bathroom, maybe a set of 3 next to the mat. ❤️
I agree the bath mat needs to be twice the size of what she bought. Add a basket with towels and washcloths would finish it off nicely.
I love how he always says Thank you to you when he taste test. Shows appreciation. Love that! ❤
Exactly! Me too! 🤗
You both are so sweet! Josh is always so thankful of the things youndo for him and you are always so appreciative of thr stuff he does for you. It's a beautiful thing to see and I appreciate how raw and real you guys are and how encouraging you are. You both have such a great attitude and zest for life and you're realistic that not all things have to be perfect.
The bathroom looks really elegant. Find a large shallow basket or wicker tray to hold rolled up wash cloths, luxury soaps and bath oils for guests.
I like the green under the tub ! A longer bath mat would look nice too 😊
I’d go with matte black fixtures on the sink and lighting, it would be so pretty. I’d say a bigger bath mat, maybe something with that natural color and texture you like! And I would leave the green part on the tub❤
For the month of November, Harvest Right will be offering a discount of up to $500 off a freeze dryer. This is the best price of the year! Harvest Right Freeze Dryer - scrat.chat/harvest-right-medium
What size is the shower curtain in the bathroom you need the shower curtain size 72 x72 or 72 x 103
But both room is nice and I like the green bathroom and white it really nice
Oh! That freeze dryer would be a DREAM to have! But it's not in the budget today.
i thought your pregnant? you added alcohol to your food😲
Over lap the shower curtains, that way they don't open while showering and get water on the floor.
The bathroom definitely need a larger mat. Beautiful bathroom and I love that color!!!
I LOVE the deep green, the earthy material incorporation idea and the white in the bathroom. I definitely think you need a bigger rug in there! Maybe just a good sized area rug that takes up a majority of the bathroom floor. Target has some beautiful ones. A little plant of some sort on that tub corner with the candles and epsom salt would be so cute too!
Definitely need a larger rug. Very nice Becky!
Seconding the plant idea! I have always had pothos in my bathrooms and they thrive with very minimal care!
Edit to add I also think the rug would be better if it was larger, but I know it can be tricky to find the right rug size! Also, with shower curtains you may need to untuck the outside so it doesn’t get wet when the shower is on. If you were going to leave it outside the tub I’d go for a longer lengthy in the front, but that makes it really tricky for the part that goes over the bench area. Lovely shower, but tricky to style!
When you bring the ladies their scraps, bring us too! We love seeing them!
for the bathroom- I like the shower curtains and mat but I think a little wooden stool beside the tub might be nice and a wood tray for the salts and candles :)
My mom used to grow gardenias in the master bath because it had a window for light and plenty of steamy air from showers to keep the plants moist. The colors of the dark green leaves and white flowers would be beautiful in that corner of the tub!
Run some hot water in the shower, the steam will take out the wrinkles. I love your bathroom. But I would paint the bottom white, I think u need a bigger rug. Shower curtain looks good in the tub. Awesome video.🥰
I love the natural looking mat you have for Epsom salt container. A small plant , a candle and some Epsom salts there would look really cool. 😀 As for your bath mat it looks a little bit odd as it's a bit small.
I agree; my first thought was the mat looked lost. Perhaps more of a "runner rug", (if they make such a thing;) I too, love the green, and don't think it's too much. Once you get the chrome or black matte lights, you will be golden:)
My exact thoughts!
Yes,a little bit larger bath mat would look much better. Being the bath mat is white, leave the green paint below the tub. White bath mat and white paint will clash.
@@kayerin5749 - Cotton rugs are great for the bathroom with an anti-skid mat underneath - and they come in all lengths… 🤗
I agree , you need to get a bigger bath mat.
The guest bath is beautiful, I love the idea of natural accessories, they tie in well with the green. I was a little nervous you were climbing but am glad you are safe 😉 Thanks for having us along with you, love spending time with you. ❤️
Your guest bath is super cute! I love the colors! I personally like the green strip. As for the bathmat, I think a bigger one might look better, but I like the texture of that one.
Yes a bigger bathmat.
Yes, keep the green. Also put the mat you bought in front of the sink and buy a larger one for in front of the tub. Same style just longer to fit the size of the tub. I think your jar and candles would look good on wooden tray. Maybe some cute decorative soaps in a little dish as well. Maybe try a thrift store for those items and take us along with you would be fun. Really enjoy your channel and your content.

Damn! Don't give men so much credit for saying thank you for cooking for them. It should be a given.
@@karetoev4999 my comment has nothing to do with your response. Of course he thanks her and husbands or wives should thank their significant others when they do something for them. Your snarky comment is unnecessary. I simply was saying how sweet it is to see Becky look at Josh so lovingly.
"I know you're gonna be mad I'm standing on the tub, but I'll be ok." I intuitively felt that and then you replied. But I also thought I know I did that changing my bath decor at seven to 8 months into my pregnancy . I'm glad you know we care lol.
Hi Becky - you asked for our opinion, so here's mine, for what it's worth! I'd paint the green stripe white as you originally wanted, set your shower curtains to open in the middle (hooks ending either side of the vertical bracket) and keep them open until the shower is in use (I realise it's an American thing to keep the shower curtains closed). I'd either buy a second bath mat or a larger one so that it looks like it fits the floor space better and I'd have some sort of greenery and rolled face cloths/towels at the end of the bath. Loving the colours and the look of the bathroom!
I was thinking a bigger bath rug, a brown tray for the jar with salts maybe mint or eucalyptus for hint of green with rolled up white wash clothes in the tray and a matching towel on the side, the candle would look pretty in the window because you have it in an antique holder, a small picture of your favorite flower on the wall because the leafs are green color it would tie the colors together So beautiful and relaxing with the natural colors! Have fun 😊
I agree that you need another or larger bath mat
I agree to painting the green stripe white to give the effect of the shower curtains to being longer.
Yep I agree, paint the green strip white, open the shower curtain and a longer bath mat
My thoughts exactly lol. I love the idea of Epsom salt and I would also do the wood shutter type of blind if you were to keep the mat underneath the jar just to add naturalism. I also think the matte black for fixtures would be great to offset the shower ring and faucet.
I was always taught to leave the shower curtain outside the tub to avoid it getting wet and growing mold, the lining stays inside the tub and you're supposed to air it out so it doesn't get moldy as well, you can also run it through the wash as well. :) I'm not sure how well that bath mat goes either lol, it's cute but doesn't really fit the bathroom.
Maybe a size up on the bath mat.
@@teresahassell286 Yeah :)
Your bathroom is so beautiful. Some bathroom suggestions: I would keep the green, it looks really good. The bathmat is too small for that area but the color and texture is really pretty. I think that the black fixtures would look way better than chrome. Also, in that big area with the container, I would suggest a basket filled with guest towels or even a live plant. Either way, it will be beautiful no matter what you decide. Thanks for the content!
Becky, I would like to share with you how my best friend made her baby food. Whatever vegetables you are cooking for you and Josh like green beans, corn, carrots, butter beans, etc. Take your baby's vegetables out of the pot before seasoning them. Put it in a blender and blend well then put the vegetable in ice trays and freeze. After your baby's food is frozen transfer it to a freezer bag. She only feed her three children from her garden vegetables like you are planning to do. I wish you the best. I am 70 and was never blessed with God's greatest gift, a child. I'm sure I would be scared also. Praying that you and the baby will have an easy and safe delivery. God bless you and Josh.
I love the green as it is. I would use large wood slices to set your big jars on for your natural element. I use the rug gable washable rugs in my bathroom. So far I’ve been happy with that decision
The food, the cooking, the decorating, and the food tasting. I absolutely love all of it. Thank you Becky.
Bored over here in Florida as hurricane Nicole hits. I hit play so fast when Beckys video popped up 😂😂
A natural woven basket with rolled towels would fit nicely with your salts and candles. Be careful to put your salts in an airtight container, the moisture will ruin them. Try a woodwick candle for an extra relaxing bath experience ❤️
Perhaps have more jars of varying sizes. You could put a few different colours and scents of Epsom salts, bubble bath, or bath bombs. And the add a few candles and you will have a nice spa look. A nice big bath mat will finish it beautifully. Home goods usually has them.
I love the green in the bathroom with the white accessories. It looks so fresh and welcoming!
Thank you Becky for your dedication and videos. My little one and I are in love with the channel. You are one of our favorite RUclipsrs

I think the green around the tub looks good. I love the shower curtains, but I think the bath mat should be bigger so it will look more proportioned. A wooden tray with the jar of Epson Salts and some extra towels, washcloths and pretty soaps. Most definitely add a plant, something with variegated green and white leaves. A wooden blind that is close in color to your vanity. You could attach some hanging faux clear crystal pendants from the shower curtain hooks....use your imagination....ribbon, raffia bows, greenery, ect....
You're off to a great start and your home is gonna be warm and cozy for sure!
The green looks fantastic. If you add some wall decor it will reduce some of the green. But what that dark color does is set off the beautiful woodwork and other elements stand out more
I like the green stripe for sure. Helps break up all the white and looks really classy and highlights the detail of the trims and stuff.
I agree!! Keep the green stripe!
I think a longer bath mat would fill the space nicely, but love the texture and design of the one you have
Decorating, mats. Out of all the placements we have had, our bamboo ones have been the most practical, useful and long lasting. I have used them to decorate areas, like your bathroom, lined like a runner so hot pots can go on them, under plates..I even stood them up in the clean fireplace as a background! Lol...easy to clean.. bought them 15 years ago! Still look like new!
A beautiful, full plant would look awesome on the ledge under the window! It brings in natural beauty and the plant pot you put it in provides another avenue for texture, colour, and design.
Yay a Becky video. I learn so much from you. I’m 60 so you can teach an old dog new tricks. 😊

A touch of nutmeg and cayenne in that tetrazzini...next level! 💚
I love the green around the tub. Great contrast in that bathrrom!
The shower curtains are always on the inside of the tub so the water from the shower does not end up on your floor in big puddles rather than confined to the bathtub only.
You are my toddler's favorite RUclipsr and I'm being a bad mom right now and watching during his nap........I might have to hit pause for a little while.
He has finally (or sadly, because it was cute) learned how to say your name. He no longer calls you 'Puppy' like he used to.
I love how you keep it real in your videos and you show yourself messing up, breaking things, dropping things, etc. It makes me so happy to know that I am not the only one that isn’t perfect especially in the kitchen. I am clumsy like you. It’s a breath of fresh air to know I’m not alone.
Anyone who ISN'T clumsy in the kitchen sometimes is..... Martha Stewart. (And I mostly bet that's just about good editing...)😉
I love the green, white and brown wood in the bathroom. A dark wooden blind for the window or maybe a floating wooden shelf for towels would be very nice. Definitely a larger rug in front of the tub.
Guest Bathroom Idea: I think that you should look as a soft wood blind on the window with a white curtain that is swooped to the side with a curtain tie. I also think that the bath mat is a little too small for the huge shower. I love the design of the rug I just think maybe a little bigger. I love your videos. Thanks for the heart that you put in to each and every one!
I have always been afraid of the kitchen and never really tried to cook… I just want to thank you for being such an inspiration and for being so real. I have now had a garden last year, started some canning and preservation projects, cooking more from scratch, baking bread even… so again thank you 💕
Hi Becky. Bathroom ideas feedback. I like the green on the bottom level. I think you might want a bigger rug or keep the rug as a bath mat hanging over the edge of the tub to put down when needed after a bath/ shower. Also putting a few towels and wash cloths at the back of tub area buy your canister gives your guest easily accessible stuff to use and adds to your decor. Maybe in a basket to match the placemat type thing? Your doing such a great job!
The shower curtain inside the tub is the way to go. I love the natural elements for decoration in the bathroom, but you need a much larger bath mat. The white is perfect, the pattern is lovely, just needs scaled up to fit the length of the tub.
Love the natural materials idea! Curtain in the tub and I like the mat. It looks great!!!!
Love the matte black as well. The green and white look lovely together and yes to the shower curtains. Just a bigger mat. Always so fun to watch
Shower curtain: I’d suggest having the curtains overlap on one or two hooks so that if someone is moving around in the shower and brushes up against the curtain it won’t open and thus water get everywhere. I agree with the placement, it looks better inside. I’d also consider the material you want as the charger plate/placemat in there remembering that it’s a humid environment which promotes mildew. I’d suggest nothing porous so if you want wood you’d probably want to seal it. The bathroom(and dinner) is beautiful, great job!
I was thinking wood too. The jar looks very nice but maybe something other then glass. I like your suggestion about the shower curtains over lap
Yes, agree the curtains look better on the inside.
Teak wood is good in wet environments ;)
I like the green under the tub, the contrast with the white is nice. The corner that you felt had too much green would be a perfect place for a wooden stool with a candle or a little cart with bath supplies. Just having the contrast of the wooden color again the green would make you feel different about that green. I think the rug needs to be bigger. ♥️
Love the green below the tub.
I personally love the green in the bathroom! It breaks up all the white everywhere else. I vote for the shower curtain inside the tub. And I agree with everyone else that the bathmat is small for the space, but I love the textured pattern. Tetrazzini is Sooo good! I may have to make that soon. Maybe with leftover Thanksgiving turkey.
Yes beautiful bath and having a big plush bathmat would enhance it
Keep the green...it looks rich! Mixing metals, especially in less used areas isn't a bad thing and often adds interest. Your dinner looks fabulous!
The colors of the bathroom are so nice and really contrasting. I think the natural element would be perfect. It needs a 3 piece. The jar, the candle, and a 3rd thing of a different size. A low-light indoor plant would be chefs kiss by that wall you said was “a lot of green”.
The accent metal for that bathroom is gold. I would use a gold tray by the bathtub and a much smaller jar. You can mix metals so I'd suggest gold light sconces and a gold trimmed mirror. You can also change the sink faucet to gold.
I'd put wood shudders throughout the house instead of curtains and blinds so Josh's trim work stands out.
Yay!!! Another afternoon break with Becky!❤❤❤
I feel the same way! I plan my cup of tea around her new uploads.
Becky, I saw a recipe on America's test kitchen called Thai grilled Cornish hens. It called for cilantro root, but since they couldn't source the roots, they used cilantro stems and leaves. Thought you might like to try harvesting the roots next year and try them on a recipe
Love the green and white. Some shiny leafed indoor plants would look lovely on the window ledge.
I like the green paint as it is in the bathroom. I think the whole room is coming together. I like everything you bought. ❤️
It looks great, but a bigger mat, I think white would be the way to go and black lights so the door doesn't feel eft out 😁 Also, a plant or 2 in front of the window. You guys are doing such a great job on the house ❤️
Yes! I totally agree with you. Love this bathroom!
Me too
I think a wood (similar color as your sink) or wicker tray would be perfect on the area behind the tub. I love the dark green below the tub. It will show less dirt & be easier to clean. Maybe a larger bath rug? Absolutely love this room! You are a great at decorating!
I love the green around the tub. 🙂
Love the curtain as it gives you the tuxedo look. Like the natural look but a beautiful plate with a smaller jar, goes well too.
Bathroom looks great! I think the bath mat might need to be a little bigger and if you're really fussy the curtains maybe need to be more of an off-white colour instead of the bright white. It looks fine though. Such a great space and I love your staging idea with the epsom salts!! So relaxing☺️
I agree with the off white suggestion. Mixing warm and cool whites makes the warm white looks like it yellowed overtime. I love your new guest bath :)
A wood tray that kinda matches the vanity color would be beautiful on the tub, to hold your salts and candles. And I like the green on the surround!
The shower curtain is perfect. The bath mat needs to be bigger I think lengthwise and you need to add some plants in there either real or fake. The green is lovely and I wouldn't change a thing
The bath mat needs to be just a little longer, but I love the white, and the texture of the one you have. Leave the green, cause if you paint it white, with a white shower curtain, and a white bath mat, then it could be to much white in that one area. Love the idea someone mentioned below "A potted Eucalyptus plant in a pot next to the shower in that corner " then put your natural mat down with the jar and candle in front of it. I agree that the scoop should be chrome/metal like the shower rod or whatever it is called. Love that idea. It is coming together so nicely. Love that green bathroom. Just a thought and totally up to you, you can also buy a few cotton stalks (not many, think minimal) to put in the live Eucalyptus plant as an added decoration. Keeps the earthy natural feel going.
OMG I am obsessed watching this channel instead of doing my own cooking and cleaning...lol
