Ikr back when I tried to do this I didnt have half the units that I have now and it was fun af seeing Ifrit melt big adams face off (with a bit of assistance from Myrtle who managed to generate over 45+ dp in the span of 15 seconds to get the road blocks down :P)
For me, CM was almost no harder lol. With Siege S2, Zima S2, and Vigna, i was able to generate plenty of DP, and with the help of my M1 Ifrit, E2 Ptilopsis and an Eyja from support, Big Adam got cooked, Literally. Honestly, Ifrit trivialized this entire event. I think there were only one or two maps that didn't have an amazing Ifrit lane.
Thanks for the guides, never managed to do this and stage 2 when the event first came out but now thanks to having E2 Eyja big Adam just melted before me.
So here am I, about one hour left of event, panic-leveling units, using what I have at hand and refreshing my friends list to get a good vangard but yeah, already got that last one Originium, Kyo, you're a saviour, as always thanks for your concise and helpful videos.
Thanks man, as usual I had a hard time doing this specifically because I'm just not used to using low rarity operators. The first time I failed I definitely knew because it was my deployment costs were too high. Plus having a hard time imagining how AI would navigate the blocks as usual.
Somehow beat it before your guide was up, though it took me a couple of tries. Surprisingly, the strategy I used was almost identical to this, I just had a different order in the start. Still a great guide and great help for everyone.
Thank you very much. this guide was very useful. It even allowed for some leeway in case you failed the set up. On the practice I failed to deploy the roadblocks in time and so Adam was not isolated, and yet I still won somehow, probably thanks to having 3 medics healing the defender. On the second and proper try, I forgot to turn on my units skills and so enemy units leaked through. All I had to do was open the top and block the bottom, the enemies went all the way back around. And when i was ready i reversed it again. Then after the goons were dealt with all we needed to do was beat Big Adam up.
Also didn't do this one until now. Man, making a killzone for Ifrit and Angelina makes even the challenge mode a cakewalk (though I did need more DP for the art. Myrtle and Texas just barely made it) Thanks, and it's really cool that your guides are still revisited after all this time.

I couldn't seem to get a couple of the blocks down to send enemies on walkabout bc there were too many enemies on the designated space at the designated time but somehow managed to muscle thru anyway so cha-ching! Got the nugget! Thanks!
Thanks again for this. I couldn't use my original setup because of the roadblock cost lol Also damn, didn't know it was better to have 12F be the 2nd AoE caster because of his dodge skill, I tried using Lava at first and she died fast because of the ranged enemies
thanks for the minimum hp and def of the defender tips being 2,1k and 600.. my lv55 saria can tank 1 hit from big adam with only 2 healers so i can put it more dps to whack big adam faster!!
Yea this one was bullshit. The way for me to win in the normal mode was through retreating roadblock and replacing them over and over again so big adam would have to go back and forth while being bombarded by my casters, but with triple cost, this strategy just went out the window.
i failed to lead adam with the blocks at the end. cuora died and i thought i lost. my team had gummy instead of beagle. gummy tanked adam with no problem. my cuora and gummy are e1 lvl50 skill rank 4. i don't know how adam attacked cuora who was behind gummy. i don't know how gummy is tankier than cuora. it was amazing.
For one I'm surprised that in my case Saria was dead with one hit and Cuora tanked Adam easily, both at e1 lvl60, gotta look into Gummy thanks to your comment :)
It's probably because gummy has a higher health pool when you have decent trust (increases hp), it allows her to tank an attack even with lower defense.
I just use brute force by having ops taking turns in locking big adam lol Bibeak, Glaucus, Rosa, maybe Megallan helped abit, Projekt Red, Texas. Then use a high atk aoe op to sweep.

- Try this method in practice mode, work very well. - Try this in actually operation, Can't place block fast enough to block Big Adam. He just destroyed block and go through but luckily my Beagle already block 3 enemies so Big Adam just walk pass through her and attack Cuora.
LOL, this happened to me as well, then for some reason a E1 60 Cuora can still tank Big Adam even without her skill active. I have leveled enough on my healer than when they all target Cuora alone, she was able to heal back her HP enough to continuously take a hit. It was hilarious.
If someone has issues or doesn't have tanky enough units to hold Big Bob - you can always set up a "death corridor" with single target damage dealers (arts preferred), a Slow supporter and make Bob's AI confused by removing blocks in the upper area, blocking off his bottom path, then removing bottom block again and blocking top again. He'll effectively move up and down twice while your casters pellet him. That's how I cleared normal mode, too...
I did this today with a lower level. Cuora only had 545 defense for example. But I still followed this guide while making my own adjustments (like deploying the second defender before doing the second roadblock). Cuora couldn't tank Adam without her skill, so after she got knocked out, I had to make him walk back and forth using the roadblocks while he took damage from my casters. Nerve wracking.
Bro I use almost the same operators as yours, but I used fang, texas, myrrh, perfurmer and haze instead. All of them at e1 lvl 50. The Big Adam moment is the key IMO, for killing Big Adam I need to deploy Melantha and Fang again lol. Anyway, thanks bro! I got 3 stars because of this!
Ufff I had to change the strategy a bit, alot of enemies where passing through D:, so I used Projekt Red, but thanks! It really gives a nice idea of where to focus.
I honestly wished the practice runs didn't take 3 plans to do. I wanted to beat this before your guides were up but I ran out and I didn't want to waste stamina outside of farming Kohl and Grindstones

one thing is for sure, Either use low star with highest lvl or use (5*6*)Elite operators with highest level. There is no point of using (5*6*) operator at lvl 40 because they will have high cost with less dmg. Aghh this is so frustrating
As Riku said, if you're full f2p player save them, or if you want progress fast only at the beginning of the game to buy around 10 times of sanity, it's enough to Elite almost 1 squad into E1 so you will be able to clear annihilation and most of supplies levels. After that start to save them, but it's depending on you. Personally i always keep them for skins and sometimes during events or when i need someone urgently at E1 i buy sanity.
You know what really grinds my gears? people who have E2 suppport units but DOESN'T PUT SKILL 2 OR 3!!! Like, why'd yu E2'D them and set them as your support units inthe first place!?!? Sorry, had to vent coz I used a skyfire support unit with S1 XD
I'd be more inclined to try and figure it out myself if each run didn't cost me half my stamina. This particular map design is not to my liking. Not much room to maneuver and you have to do things a very specific way to find success.

Decided on using aoe guard instead of beagle to deal with numerous soldiers not dying fast enough on the lower path, blaze specifically

You dont need to block Big Adam though. You can just roadblock cheese him with slows.
Yes i know, but if you don't have enough dps to kill him you maybe finish roadblocks, so that method is safely 😉

i feel if you are f2p without monthly, burn the PO for sanity to clear the shop. Otherwise save since it might be chen and vitafield next
