I just bought a 2020 Kona and was looking for how to do the software update without Navigation. Your video was very helpful. Thank you so much!
I appreciate the comment. I'm glad it helped you.
These were the exact steps I needed. Thank you so much for this!!
You are very welcome. Glad I could help.
Just what I was looking for. Thanks!
You are welcome.
This was every thing i need to know how to do this. I had been struggling to figure this out for a couple of days glad i found this video.
I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much!
You are welcome!
Does this not work on the Veloster turbo 2016?
My 2021 Kona EV is listed on the V2 page, but I noticed that the software on my car was version 108, I took that to mean version 1. I did the version 1 update and now it's up to 115. Now I'm trying to figure out why I can't get it to version 2. I'm mostly using CarPlay so I really am interested in the underlying software beign improved.
I was not able to do it. I20 2024, saying that i need to insert usb containing files, but i did by Navigation Update app :|
Hi Dear is there software for avante 2013...please
I have 2017 Hyundai 1.6 elantra with Navi and GPS slot...it seems to be listed as eligible for update...i have downloaded the software but the navi system/screen doesn't show any update button to select...any help? (South Africa)
Does it work for santa fe TM 2021?
If your headunit works ok and you dont have issues OR what is in the new updates does not benefit you , just leave it like that. Sometimes it gets les responsive with newer updates or some issues might appear.
my finding is not all hyundai trim levels have bluelink, if you dont have it the updates will not work, not sure why they dont mention it on the website.
I have a 16 sonata sport that says I need to check and try again need help
@10:40
After I extract it and get the second (unzipped) folder, when I click into it, it just shows "DAUDIO", I don't see those 2 enc_package files listed in yours....
I tried still moving them over and it still wouldn't work :(
Not working on my 2022 Hyundai Sonata. Keeps telling me to insert the drive with the update files when I push "update". I have tried both USB inputs...
you need to pick update for the same region as head unit or current software
Take a look at these flash drives:
USB Flash Drives:
SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB 2.0 Flash Drive
64GB: amzn.to/3uyW3ul
128GB: amzn.to/47rKnI8
Hello, will the audio updates work for any other Hyundai model and in a different country?
Looking for one for my 2020 Hyundai India Verna.
Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
You will have to look at your regional Hyundai website to see if they offer the ability to download the update.
Hi there do you have any info on updating the SsandYong Tivoli car audio software?
I do not. That is not a car I am familiar with.
This is the video I have been searching for...one thing though.
Is there a Canadain version of the updates and how can I get them for my tucson
Head over to the Hyundai Canada website update.hyundai.com/CA/EN/Main. From there it appears to be about the same as you would see in my video. As far as I can see it currently supports the 2022 Tuscon.
Can i use the usa version for middle east car??
No, that will not work.
Hi. I have Hyundai Elantra 2018 . The SW WER is AD.CAN.0000.V067.151023
And this version is not in the update list of the American site. Can I use the US site updates for this car?
There is only an update for Ge2v display audio on the Hyundai Canada site!
did you get answer to your question
I check the website but i didn’t find the kona 2020
Is there a place that I can see all the updates that have been made in prior updates? I'm just updating mine and it hasn't been updated since 2019. Hoping this update will be a big win for me considering the software has never been updated since the vehicle was purchased.
That's a great question. Unfortunately, I don't see that anywhere on the Hyundai site. That would make sense for them to have that somewhere.
@@TechMotoring Unfortunately, my hopes for a big win ended up being a big let down. My car won't update. It's a 2020 Sonata SEL. It's current software version says DN8.USA.D2V.001.003.191129. The first USB I tried seemed to fail saying the files were corrupt or something like that. I tried another USB and it went thru the steps, but after preparing update, it briefly showed something like Update 4/5 and then said restarting. The update 4/5 part only last a few seconds and then the restart. After the restart, the version didn't update on the system. It still said the 2019 version listed above. If you have any tips or things to try, would very much appreciate it.
It seems you are very close. You can try formatting the flash drive first before you write the files to it. Continue to try different flash drives, smaller ones if you have any. A different USB port may help as well. Best of luck.
@TechMotoring One thing that looks a bit strange is the download web page for the 2020 Sonata next to the download button looks like it expects to download version DN8.USA.D2V.003.200.220927. When I download and extract the files, one of the files is enc_system_package_134.100.220927. I think it also comes up in the car with a version like this - the "134.100.220927" type thing when it reads the USB drive. I wonder if the version I'm getting in the download is somehow incorrect.
@@TechMotoring I did do the quick format, but maybe I'll try a low level format to see if that works.
why there is no europe version i don t know
what can i do if my device is on a boot loop
If I have a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon without navigation, I can't do an update I assume?
This video is specifically for vehicles that do not have navigation. So you are in the right place.
Is there one for the 2015 Sonata?
If the vehicle is not listed in the software then it is most likely not supported by Hyundai. You can always follow up with Hyundai to verify.
Did someone update their hyundai elantra 2022? Is it worked in canada? Thanks
Yo borre el uiid y no funciona mi estéreo 😢😢
Can this work for 2017 sonata without navigation
This video is specifically for vehicles without navigation. As long as your vehicle is in the list, it should work.
You didn’t show the steps on how to do it on a Mac…?
Is there 2019 tucson non navigation update?
did you get answer to your question
@@kapilchauhan3234 no, not yet
2017 Santa Fe Won’t update. Says check update memory and try again. What is this ?
Assuming this is a US spec car. I don't see 2017 listed, only goes as far back as 2019. Unless your car has navigation, then you will need to download the Hyundai Navigation Updater software to proceed with an update.
Seems like the Canadian 2021 non-nav Tucson is in nomansland! Canadian website only offer an update for the 2022 and the US one skips the 2021 all together lol.
Oh man. It's weird how each country is different for which vehicles they support. Maybe the next update will add the 2021 model.
Indeed and let's hope so!
I did this on my 2020 Santa Fe and it keeps telling me update unsuccessful please contact the customer service center now I can’t use my radio my back up camera or Apple car play at all
Same here. I am unable to update also. It's saying check storage space
my bluelink has not been working for the last three months i tried everything nothing seems to work help
Download the latest software
I have a 2021 Kona. It doesn’t have navigation and it’s a gen1. Surprisingly it doesn’t exist in the list. 😞
OS.USA.SOP.V108.190715.DAU_B
(That’s what I currently have)
Are you sure it's not a Gen2? That year should be a Gen2 for the Kona.
@@TechMotoring I am sure its a Gen1. I bought it in Dec'2020. So apparently, since my system is not with bluelink its not listed. (got this from the call center rep)
But its highly disappointing :(
@siddharthagoyal2351 I'm on the website now, and the 2021 Kona is listed as a Gen2V system
@@weaselgamer50 Its not a Gen2 :( I had bought my Kona in Dec 2020 and the earlier models actually had a V1 without blue link as an option. I already tried doing the 2V update but to no avail. When I reached out to the customer care on the website i was redirected to a customer care who confirmed that there is nothing for my car. He did although say, you may get lucky if one of the local stores tries it.
@@weaselgamer50 Although let me give it another shot
You’re not supposed to extract at all. The instructions literally say DO NOT EXTRACT. Not once does it ask you to extract a damn thing. Why is this so hard for people to do. Years and multiple videos worth and nobody can get this right.
You are incorrect. You do have to extract the initial download file. Then you copy the contents of that on to your flash drive. Depending on the year/model of the vehicle there will be a couple zip files (These you do not extract) or a single folder that gets copied to the flash drive.
@@TechMotoring I only said that because after countless hours last night of trying to do it your way and using different usb drives. Couldn’t get it to work until I did it the way I stated. Not extracting and just copying from the zipped file to the usb directly and it worked right away. Must be only my situation then idk. But I spoke from experience. And I’m super tech savvy.
@@frgarcia89It depends on the system you have. If you have Gen2V then you do extract it. If you have Gen1V then you don't extract
