Can you do a video of installing a three prong outlet in the bed? I recently bought a 24’ Colorado lt and I see a spot on the right side for it because it comes with the spray liner package but I didn’t wanna pay the premium when I know I can get it for cheaper.
Unfortunately I can't since I already have one. That said you can install an inverter and run the wires back to the bed and install a plug. It'll likely be a bit more amor a universal fit but I think I'd like that better personally since it wouldn't matter if the truck is on or not for you to be able to use the plug whenever you want. I ran an Anderson plug on the driver side like that.
I like your approach to wiring and installing things to look as OEM as possible. I already followed your video for the G900 Wolfbox and plan to do this one next. I would love to see you tackle an ARB Compressor (CKMA12) mounted under the hood and relayed into the AUXBEAM switch panel. I have seen several people trying to find out how to mount the ARB in the Gen 3 GMC/Chevy and I bet you would come up with a clever/custom mounting solution.
@@BadlandIndustries You got that right, I have been scratching my head for days on how to adapt some mount already on the market and haven't found any tutorials for Gen 3.
I bought a 2024 Colorado Trail Blazer. It’s been my pleasure to watch and learn from several of your videos. Please do a 12 volt bed install. I wanted to do your bed light install. But GM charges too much for 2 simple lights, hardware and wiring harnesses.
Damn, coming along nicely. Do you make brackets for Chevy too? I want to put raptor lights in my z71 without swapping out the grill or having to put them below the emblem
@@BadlandIndustries Would it be possible to just unbolt the bottom bolt of the end-links and then zip tie the sway bar out of the way each time you go off road? Kind of a hassle, but would that work? Or what about something similar to the product you had designed for the previous gen colorados, where it was just on one side?
@@BadlandIndustries I’m sorry. I’m re reading my comment. I forgot to ask Did you need to use a relay? Or did you run the wire straight to the switch and use an inline fuse?
@@dmilillo I don't believe the wire is rated for the load of the light. The way the upfitter relays are wired, the button only operates the relay coil. That said, you should follow the diagram I put on the whiteboard and you shouldn't have any issue.
Maybe I missed it, but I don't understand why you would use the OEM Aux switch to turn on the aftermarket set of switches. Why does that need to be switched? Seems like you're cheating yourself out of a switch that could be used elsewhere.
You could essentially run the trigger wire off a switched source. Since that aux button is live at all times it's nice to be able to run the lights while the truck is off. I was on a recovery just last night where I didn't need the truck running but needed light. If the trigger was off ignition I would have lost light every 15 min when it timed out.
@@BadlandIndustries 😆 the additional lighting is good.. what auxiliary panel your using (review maybe) personally I'm on the hunt for a brush guard hitch mount similar to the at4x.. thinking it might be a diy job

There's not a whole lot of room under the hood. I'll think about where it might be able to live.

Just wire up the Silverado kit off amazon

There was a guy in one of the fb groups that made some brackets for raptor lights. This relay bracket along with the other parts will fit both trucks.
Can you do a video on how to manually disconnect the Canyon’s front swaybar for off roading?
No video like this exists on RUclips!
Thanks!

That's due to how it's designed. It will contact the lca and other things. I am considering options to make something work.

Did the Lasfit light bar install vid ever come out?
Not yet. I'm super behind on everything
@@BadlandIndustries Completely understandable. Take your time and don't get burnt out if you can help it.
@dovahsween3378 I'm trying
When you going to start to sell the switch panel bracket ? I want one
I just need to add it to the site. With all the computer issues this week I was barely able to get this video up.
Rocking it.
Did you run the controller box power wire straight to the aux switch wire in the kick panel?
Yes that's what I stated. Now the aux button is merely turning on the switch panel.
