I don't know if you've heard of this technique, but I've found a neat but seemingly unintuitive method for painting yellow that you may want to experiment with for future kits. It involves undercoating the yellow surface pink and using yellow's transparency to your advantage. Due to the way light works, the pink will pass through the yellow and create a neat orange that you can gradually build up to pure yellow.
Your explanation is a bit confusing… Are you saying paint it pink, then yellow to make orange.. and keep painting till yellow? Sorry I’m just trying to understand this method 😭

My favorite part are the eyes, you can never tell how they are going to look until you finish the entire painting, and it always look wonderfull.
