The shading with the pastels is always my favorite part. It looks so therapeutic and it draws attention to the details modelers put into their kits that may be easy to look over at a first glance. 🐈⬛🌙
Shading adds so much for such a small part, it really gives life and depth to something that’s flat ✨

She painted Luna the same as the figure I have ...... no..... she made it MUCH BETTER by the little stars and glitters and with the pearlescent paintsand that base. I just LOVE it!!!!!!!! Seriously.... she reaches newer and newer peaks of perfection! MUAH!!! (Chef's kiss)
I am a painter and I know color theory but I am still mighty impressed everytime I see olor correction especially as clear in the resin!
Love, love, love this figure! The addition of 🐈⬛-Luna, the stars and sparkles on her hair, dress and 🌙 were just the icing on the cake (I mean, obviously there was base icing, too, can't forget that!).
I am loving how your patreon has exploded though, and reading through so many women's names just proves that women want spiciness (Oscar!!) in their collections, too.
Also, I love how you called out the figure design, like, "that's not how boobs work", when jewelry is dangling off them 😂 it's the tiny details (or sometimes massively massive ti**ies) that show what gender the designer was, or at least who they think their target audience is.
That sculpt is amazing !! Because of the nature of the Sailor Scouts' uniforms there rarely is as much detail as on Luna's dress here - your work truly shines on it !
So stunning 😍 words cant describe how beautiful this figure is, Snow Princess Kaguya was one of my favorite Sailor Moon Movies and to see a Figure of human form Luna gives me so much joy. I wish i could have her here on my shelf.

It's a pity Luna has such beautiful ruby eyes and Kaguya then has blue. I understand yellow dress with red eyes not very aesthetic, but I wish they'd been consistent between the designs 🌛🐈⬛
Naoko actually gave Luna blue eyes for both cat and human Luna, it was Toei that changed her eyes to red in the Anime then changed it back to blue for the movie because I think red eyes were more just reserved for Chibiusa, that last part is just a theory of mine tho, but Toei did do whatever they wanted with anime.

I love watching your work .. but I have a small suggestion that may help with the bleeding under your tape when you're masking things.. I heard that one technique is to paint the same BASE colour over the tape first, so the colour you've already got under the tape is what bleeds through first. Once dry then you use the top colour that you're painting over the masked area and that could potentially help make it so there's less cleanup needed once you peel everything off.

I know that the garage kits aren't dolls, but I have seen similar techniques for the fake nails on doll modders. I think it's cool when you can see similar techniques be repurposed in different hobbies! I love how she's turned out, I also like the long format of your videos. They are wonderful to watch when I'm doing my own art and am in a repetitive or less brain intensive part, makes the time fly.
