I'm happy you guys are loving the video so far!
To answer a couple of questions that have been asked several times by many here:
Will there be kits of the Outer Senshi Princesses? *YES*! Wanzi is producing all 10 of them, Jupiter is being casted as we speak, he's working on Princess Small Lady after Makoto but he hasn't announced with of the outer senshi he will do after that, so be sure to follow him on IG to get updated!
2.- Am I ok? Some of you have noticed some weight changes, while some are happy and are congratulating me, others are concerned?
To answer, that (Because I don't feel a video is warranted for the topic), *YES* I'm perfectly fine! 2 years ago I had a medical emergency that rendered me in the hospital for a week, it was the biggest health scare of my life and since then, I have been closely monitored by my doctors to safely get to a healthy weight to prevent any more medical problems. So yes, it was intentional, no, I'm fine, don't worry. No, I don't mind people noticing it and commenting on it either, I actually find it amusing that people tip-toe around the weight issue and just say "You're looking healthy" 😂 guys, it's ok, I don't get offended if you say the "w" word 🤣 so don't worry 😘💞
Could you ask Wanzi for back-up heads for Princess' Serenity, Mars and Mercury?
Sailor Venus' element is metal (since the inner senshi are based on the 5 Wu Xing elements), and why she has whip and sword attacks. Gold stars works out perfectly for her metal element, especially since the Japanese name for Venus is Kinsei- literary metal star.
I feel like a lot of the nuance with the Japanese meanings of words for the senshi got lost in translation, because even I originally thought her element was light as well. Metal makes a lot of sense though.

Fun Swarovski crystal story. I went to a college with a big fashion department and took the into clothing construction class for fun. They told us the school had a library of Swarovski crystals we could rent for our assignments as long as we tore them off and returned them. Always thought that was really weird.
Venus' element was metal; in Japanese, the word for the planet, 'Venus', "Kinsei" (金星), literally translates as "Metal Star"/"Gold Star".
Venus Love Me Chain suddenly makes so much more sense 😮
@@hjl8700 Loveme Chain is actually much deeper in meaning. In greek mythos, Venus was married to Hepheastus, the god of metal, fire and craftsmanship. He forged a chain for her out of gold metal, which Venus used to entangle anyone she flirted with to instantly fall in love with her. Using it, she seduced Mars, the god of war and had an affair with him until Hepheastus found out and divorced her. Venus and Mars married shortly after.
...hence Naoko pairing Minako and Rei whenever she had the chance ;D
@@VanAkita i think you mean roman mythos. venus is the roman personification of aphrodite and while they share some similar myths they are still different goddesses

@@VanAkita Yeah I think even the Romans would admit they're really the same (since the Romans really just had such a hard on for all things ancient Greece XD. Thankfully for us it helped keep their art and stories alive to the present day! )
Stars are actually perfect because Venus is the Morning Star. You can see it shining as the “first star” at dawn and at dusk so it’s a fitting motif.

Wow, Leona, your talent and dedication to your artistry is honestly so inspiring to watch. The attention to detail is phenomenal and tbh, it's been so amazing to see you use different tricks and methods on your kits throughout the years I've been subscribed. I also appreciate how honest you are about when things challenge you, too. It's super encouraging for people who want to get started with GK but are scared about messing up to know that even the pros can struggle, sometimes, and it's okay not to be perfect the first time you try something. I could literally watch you paint all day, it's SO relaxing and this beautiful princess didn't cease to amaze, as always. I LOVED the way you shaded her hair. The different tones and shadows you created really made it look so life-like and the ombre to the holo sparkles at the bottom was just--mwah. Chef's kiss. The frame turned out beautiful and the little skits you have sprinkled here and there made me laugh, esp your crystal dealer LOL. Seriously looking forward to Jupiter and make sure to take care of yourself!

I appreciate that you left in the part with the hair I always appreciate when a artist shows their trials when doing their craft cause it's nice to know that even someone as experience as you can still deal with that from time to time and get through it As a beginner it makes me not as scared of trying and failing just stay calm and work though it until it works for me. I've ordered a few kits and one is pretty complex so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little terrified so thanks for this.

The intro was the best, whoever thought Venus would be a crazy stalker only to be surprised tackled, body slammed and then worked on into this super beautiful creation! I can't wait to see the next one,. especially if there's a princess MiniMoon in the future.

She ended up looking absolutely stunning! The paintwork on her hair might be my favorite part of this whole kit, you made both sets of hair look truly magical. I also love how the star details can also be a callback to Venus being refered to as the Morning- or Evening Star, it makes them feel just right for her!

Watching you do these backgrounds is some special type of brujería. I cannot fathom how you are able to think about both sides at the same time, painting some things from the front view and others from the back. It’s pure magic.
The stars work well for her element and in Japanese Venus is Kinboshi and if you translate the two Kanji you get Gold Star so you were SPOT ON!
I really admire your commitment to certain details, but also your flexibility in the name of creativity and an overall better result. Maintaining a consistent theme across the figure, and across the set, is meant to create a gorgeous effect so if it ultimately looks bad, what’s the point!
She’s absolutely gorgeous.I love how you got that transparent effect in her gown ,yet it still has all the colour.There is so much detail on her throughout and her hair and face are both so beautifully painted.I really like the background too.I think she’s one of my favourite’s.Even though I doont really like yellow much I can make an exception with her.She looks warm and sunny ..Love n Light 🥰
The stars of Venus I feel pays a tribute to the 90's Sailor Venus, since at the time, she dreamed of becoming a famous idol. So the stars are chef's kiss!!!!!!!!!

Venus was my character back on the playground in the 5th grade (1999!) I still adore her. I've been eagerly waiting for this one, and I'm so happy to see her come together! I think you made a great choice with the yellow to orange gradient on the frame. She's the only one of the inner senshi with three colors in her palette, so it feels right for her anyway. Great job!
I just want to say while I don't do figurines like this, I do make cakes and watching your channel over time I tried to pick up some of your air brushing techniques once I got my new job 6 months ago and I've been getting a lot of compliments when I airbush the cakes and the gumpaste/fondant flowers and bows I use for the cakes.

Im trying GK after several years as a doll modder and the putty is the single most difficult part to get the hang of! I absolutely do not have a handle on it yet! 😅 it's good to know even a pro still has their moments too! ❤️ Another gorgeous senshi!

It is amazing how you achieve just another super skill with every Senshi Kit to make every one of them look their best. And I have to admit, this kit scares me more than all the others combined, so I will have to watch the video a few times more...that hair is madness 😵💫.

It’s so inspiring to see that even a seasoned modeler still struggles with her craft and in the video you say we’re here to watch you suffer but really I just love watching you overcome all the trials these kits throw at you! The struggle and the triumph is what makes it so satisfying to watch and you end up with gorgeous Senshi models! Even with mistakes and imperfections along the way, they look amazing in the end and that’s one of the most inspiring things about the sailor moon series. That no matter how much the struggle or mess up, they come out on top cuz they never give up. Thank you for showing us these modeling journeys.
