naysaying maybe but i could totally see eximus/thrax/demo's being immune to the final cold status and unable to be frozen, so the extra layer of crit multi would be kinda like frosts passive augment, unnecessary overkill on the enemies it works on, while not working on the enemies it would be most useful for.

Will definitely make Corpus enemies easier to fight for most people. Wouldn't make me dust Frost Prime off though, and I'd be using cold against Index anyway, unfortunately it's for the damage type against shields and not the status lol.
Might be tempted to go cold, corrosive and radiation (corrosive mod combination and radiation mod) for Murmur though with the Tenet Flux, but again, cold is the lesser useful element there despite the slowing then freezing CC potential as the corrosive and radiation damage just right out destroy Murmur enemies, why incapacitate when you can kill.
And like most things DE do wrong anyway, the slow and freeze won't work on the tougher enemies and bosses that you'll want to slow and freeze lol.
I’m already cookin with cold rn, cannot wait for new cold and Blast looks fucking awesome.

Does cold freeze solid as of today protea prime release? I think my kompressa froze demolsts solid today like frost
My cold and corrosive acceltra is gonna shred
people said frost would be better on the status rework for cold, but as someone that plays frost, i think it wont really change anything, cause avalanche already strips armor 100% so a small extra crit dmg isnt really that amazing anymore, and i feel like it would be more annoying to have a frost ally on defense, cause frost might not be able to lower the frozen duration on enemies.
Build diversity doe is a thing
It makes Ice Wave a much better option. Free dmg and good cc. Sure Frost won’t care much but I’ll take anything we can get for him.
@@bnashtay2278 depends on the stacks but even armor getting reduced helps to...I'm curious to see this even more now
Blast should just turn your hits into aoe shots. The radius scales off the status procs.

@@ArthussOfficial Blast should be the solution to most single target weapons struggling compared to aoe weapons.

also we don't have problems with armor, we can get rid of it , the problem is dmg scaling forever and one shoting us with 99.99% damage reduction
Yes we need to be able to tank better certain frames have to use rolling guard and I really hate using it or shield gating I'm not great at it and it makes me dislike certain frames who I would love if they could tank a bit better, gyre with pillage is night and day when she doesn't have it

Frost won’t be meta but Ice Wave will
