That is an insane installation. I'm pretty handy but don't have a welder etc. You have convinced me to go ahead and buy a decent portable bandsaw the next time I see one on sale :)
Good to know this isn't really worth the effort but great job doing it anyway. I have a 2005 with 19 hours on it, looking for EFI swap next. Also not sure if it'd be worth the cost.
I installed an EZ Steer kit on my old 2009 Brute a few years ago. It was a direct fit. easy install. It worked great. was night a day difference. That kit was easier to steer than my 2020 Renegade 1000 XXC. what kit did you have exactly. some cheaper universal kit?
@@PaulBrun SuperATV EZsteer kit directly from superATV. Don't let this vid fool you. The kit installs way easier than this vid would suggest. It's actually an easy install and the kit works really good.
I bought one of these kits and it is not working or pathetic effort. There were no instructions or fault finding chart . The red led does flash sometimes and maybe once or several flashes in sequence ,like a code. The fact there was no fault or fitting wiring is a problem. I had to pay £500 then got hit with a load of sales tax when it arrived from China, I am not very happy about it as I wonder if it was a faulty unit sold out the back door on eBay. No come back as there is no contacts to them .

Yes it is a very intense install. I really have been happy with the milwaukee m12 for what I use it for. Sharp blades always make the difference
That is some dedication there
Thanks for the video, very helpful, can you please confirm is that a IRS or SRA machine, and what size engine?
How did you center the shaft inside the tube before welding?
Nice job with that install!
A lot of guys wouldn’t be able to do all that fabrication!
Thank you very much

Great video, Thank You.
How does it work
Honestly it isn't worth the money and time. It helps, but it is not very noticeable. I don't recommend.
@@quadbilly2106 OK good to no ... I don't find it hard to turn now

Sorry to hear it don't perform like you were expecting. I've been debating on modding my 650 brute. Maybe just need a decent stabilizer
Update coming. The unit here failed and he was upgraded to the larger motor. The new one is much more powerful and does make a big difference
