- This is the new Cessna Corvalis TTX from Sim Federation available for 18.77 Euro's of the simMarket . It's well modelled and textured and is stable to fly . The only criticism I have is it sounds to me as if it has the standard turbo prop engine sounds and it tends to try and run away from you like the turbo props in MSFS do when taxiing . Now I might be wrong but I listed the info below and it has a twin-turbocharged Teledyne Continental TSIO-550-C piston engine , which im sure is not the same as a Turbo Prop that is driven by a small jet engine .
I think the sound is off , also there are click points but I couldn't open the doors . This maybe some thing im doing wrong or they don't open and maybe that's an update for the future . Would I recommend you to buy this , well if you can get past the sound and are not bothered about doors opening then yes it's okay . The choice is yours and thank you for watching and hope you enjoyed , hope it has high lighted some issues for you . The TTx Model T240 is a low-wing, single-engine, four-place general utility aircraft by American aviation producer Cessna. It traces its lineage to the Lancair ES, the homebuilt kit form of the Lancair IV. The American company Columbia Aircraft based their Columbia 300 off of the Lancair ES. The 300, first delivered in 2000, is a low-wing, single-engine airplane with fixed tricycle landing gear that is powered by a normally-aspirated piston engine. Columbia then created the 400, a 300 with a twin-turbocharged powerplant.In the mid-2000s, Cessna took over production of the 400 and marketed the airframe as the Cessna 400 TT Corvalis. TT stands for “twin turbocharged” and Corvalis is a variation of the name Corvallis, the city in Oregon where Cessna manufactured the aircraft. In 2011 Cessna introduced the TTx Model T240, the 400 TT Corvalis with a number of upgrades, notably avionics.
The TTx Model T240 is widely hailed as an incredibly well-balanced aircraft that boasts excellent performance. It features composite construction, notably carbon fiber and Nomex, and has an advanced glass cockpit and side stick control. It uses a flight control system that prevents a number of hazards, including spins, spiral dives, overspeeding, and stalls.
The TTx Model T240 measures 25 feet, 2 inches in length, stands 9 feet tall, and has a wingspan of 36 feet, 1 inch. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged Teledyne Continental TSIO-550-C piston engine that delivers up to 310 horsepower and turns a constant-speed 3-blade propeller. The aircraft has a range of 1,274 miles, a service ceiling of 25,000 feet above sea level, a climb rate of 1,500 feet per minute, and it cruises at 270 miles per hour.

Such a shame, because I'd love a Corvalis TTx in my Sim.
So a plane that has a magneto key, 3 levers for throttle mixture and RPM, also looks just like a SR22 in the front which all these says recip piston engine. Not turboprop. Who thought a turbo prop sound would work with a piston engine?? That really makes no sense to me. Not trying to be rude. Lol but that just irks me on another level. 😂😂
Your right that is a big let down , can only hope the developers sort that out .
Looks good... Yoke doesn't move though that's a let down . Wonder how it flies compared to real world or is it a generic one . Been waiting for one in the sim though...so conflicted lol
Yep mixed bag this one , didn't notice the stick not moving . It's pleasing to the eye and I like the fact that weight on wheels knocks off the weather radar . There some good features but also with that some not so good . I hope some updates will cure these . Thanks for your comment 😊
