I had to do one since I was my friends best man. I didn’t write a single thing down. I had thought of a few things, but nothing. Yeah, it felt a little stressful but luckily the bridesmaid was nervous too and wanted to go first to get it out of the way. She had a nice, thoughtful, and long enough of a speech. Then my time came. I kept it simple as you could get. I brought up our longtime friendship, said thank you to the bride and that I’m happy she’s the one to choose him, and that there’s nobody else I’d want to see him with. I finished that thing within a minute and got a good applause out of it. The poor girl who was the bridesmaid felt so betrayed, she didn’t think I’d be so quick, clean, and simple with it. Too bad that girls taken though, she was a dime and a half.

I had to do one since I was my friends best man. I didn’t write a single thing down. I had thought of a few things, but nothing.
Yeah, it felt a little stressful but luckily the bridesmaid was nervous too and wanted to go first to get it out of the way. She had a nice, thoughtful, and long enough of a speech.
Then my time came. I kept it simple as you could get. I brought up our longtime friendship, said thank you to the bride and that I’m happy she’s the one to choose him, and that there’s nobody else I’d want to see him with.
I finished that thing within a minute and got a good applause out of it. The poor girl who was the bridesmaid felt so betrayed, she didn’t think I’d be so quick, clean, and simple with it.
Too bad that girls taken though, she was a dime and a half.
Charlie should of ended the speech with “that’s about it.. see ya” 😂

she sounded to me like she thought she needed to make a raunchy speech bc thats always what people do in movies but at the same time she's not funny or entertainingly cringe and was trying to placate the audience by saying just kidding or commenting on the couple. if this was my wedding, i would have had the mic cut because not only is she embarrassing herself, she's embarrassing the bride
