Props man. I got my shit together but I’m 40. Finally got my scatpack widebody paid 56k. Insurance was the main reason I didn’t get the hellcat. It was 450$ plus the payment which was like 1100 for what I chose. I got my house. Got my wife a new car. Then I did my thing. I’ve got some side income from investments coming in. I would love a cat though.
Good for you bro you earned it, nothin but positivity. When I get more money in my pockets I might get something fast but I’m iffy about dodge, Every mechanic I’ve ever had told me they break down quick and it’s random stuff too that shouldn’t break. Engines seem to be bulletproof tho
Respect for keeping it honest!✊🏾 I also too did the same thing as a person who’s interested in cars and a person who when they have their mind set on some shit they gone get it done! I wanted an F80 M3 so that’s what I did went out and bought it it was 50k I put 2k down, $924 for car payment and $189 a month for insurance. That ain’t including $60 in gas every few days lmao had the car for about 8 months on top of maintenance and being able to modify the car and have money left over. I couldn’t justify paying that much a month on a car so I had to get rid of. Sold it while the market was up and got something way cheaper. But more power to you bro I know that urge I done said fuck it so many times for cars 😂😂 but you got a new sub bro help you pay for that whip!
Maiin that’s real, I respect you for putting out truths, I will keep supporting you, so you can continue to afford that “Dream Car” I respect that at your age you’re doing things I could only dream of,, I am 60, got a GT500 for a reasonable price about 4 years ago, but I waited on the car for a long time, prices were staying high and I just couldn’t afford to own that n pay my mortgage!! But I saved and got her! Much love!! Great content!!
Been rolling HEMIs since '05 bro. I KNOW the feeling! I'm lucky enough to have been successful in enjoying my rides('16 Challenger Hellcat, '20 Redeye Charger). Keep rising young king. May think of visiting a credit union and refinancing your whip bro. Nobody can top their rates.
Not an entirely true blanket statement - though not terrible advice..my local credit unions when I bought my 20 HC WB were higher than what BoA gave me on that car. But they did give my GF a better rate (by .01%) on her Durango we got her shortly after. Ultimately - push the knowledge to shop around (alot) :)
@@jasonbarner8215 that's true. Rates change so often and will only get worse as the market keeps getting tighter and tighter. CUs typically do pretty good on refi's though.
Congrats on the purchase - beautiful ride. I just have to say don’t put too many miles on it cause when the novelty wears off in a few years, that payment gonna feel like a ball and chain. Keep your resale as high as possible. I went thru this with a M5 about 12 years ago and wish I had listened to what the old heads were preaching then.
M5 is gonna depreciate like a rock regardless, especially the E60, it’s engine is notorious for mechanical issues. Enjoy your cars, if you can’t afford the depreciation then you can’t afford the car.
@@V8TJ what’s the point of having it if you ain’t driving it tho😂😂 just trade it up in a year or two if you can. Idk.. I just got an 08 M6 (V10) w/ 52,000 miles. Bought it 25.5k cash. Already put 5000 miles in 3 months. Gas is KILLLLLLING me. That 93 is ugly.

Man who cares about all the extra stuff. I have nothing but the utmost respect for older guys that talk numbers and what they did in their day. Trust me, it’s not bad to incorporate into your decision, but life is VERY finite, you may not wake up tomorrow, let alone make it into bed tonight. Be safe & responsible in all aspects, BUT ENJOY YOUR LIFE AND GET THE THINGS YOU WANT. I notice most people with negative comments usually have two things in common… 1. They own a shitty car, but always giving financial advice under nice car videos that talk about numbers. 2. They’re older & in my mind they’re just thinking about what they missed out on in their “good ol’ days.” Wether you pay sticker price or 3 times what it cost, if you make the payments & your priorities are in line, ENJOY IT! It’s yours! So happy to see you in something you really want, just subbed & hope to see more of your content soon, brother. Looking into a WideBody cat myself & I really don’t wanna go over $1.1 - $1.2K a month in payments, so this really helped! In a Brand New 19’ GT currently & its honestly more than enough power😂

Whew! I’m sorry you had to learn the hard way lol homie. Take what you learn and continue to grow and prosper. You’re young so you still got a lot of time to get right.

The minute you said 9% interest I had to stop the video and listen again! Hey my man, props on the purchase, your honesty and your channel! BUT there’s probably going to be a HARD LESSON learned here. I can only pray you got a very good extended warranty, too! Purchasing a car like this coupled with an interest rate like THAT tends to keep you “car” poor! I am glad you had 13k to put down… that alone shows grit and determination!
You only live once man. Enjoy your purchase. You’re still young. You can make this money up later. That’s a sick car. I just purchased my 2022 Durango srt. Same color as your car. Can’t wait to receive it. No regrets!!
I thought I loved my 19 hellcat but 1500 a month is true love! I'm paying just over a third of that. With under 6k now I'ts hard not to sell it for a couple thousand more (easy) than I paid for it nearly 3 years ago. But I don't want to drive nothing else! Especially now that these cars are the end of true gas powered muscle cars!
👀 hmm, maybe I’ll stick with the RT version! Lol ! This was a great informative video , definitely answered the questions I’ve had in my head about what it takes to own something like this . It is pretty crazy , but buying a hellcat would be the biggest achievement of my life .
Or just don’t go for a 2020 I recently bought my hellcat for 50k with 20k miles it’s a 2016 a few years older but I saved me some money and was fortunate enough to buy my dream car

Ayy bro props for the honesty. My last car was an RT but even that I couldn’t justify the payments. I’m pushing a new Mazda 3 Turbo now lol but saving 250 a month when you factor payment, gas and insurance. Enjoy the ride and you might get it out your system like I did.
@@Notfast86 I took advantage of the chip shortage so I was actually able to get $4700 just for essentially terminating my lease a year early and selling the car. But yes I went from the RT to my current Mazda 3 Turbo
My man's car payment is my house payment. I would love to get a scat pack charger but I been without a car payment for a very long time 5+ years.it feels good to have 3 cars all payed for and not having to pay my bank each month anymore at the age of 37.
yo bro u real as hell for letting people know that a big payment for a car aint really worth it unless you making decent money 😔. Thats a clean ass cat tho keep doing what u doin bro
I love this video. You're being real and pointing out true reality. 👍 I bought a scat pack and paid it off within a year. I can easily walk into a dealership today with my scat and slap down enough cash to walk out with a fully paid for hellcat. I just don't want one bad enough. The paranoia of it possibly being stolen, wrecked, or whatever isn't worth it for me. lol 😆 I ain't meant to have one.

You're blessed Brother to be able to afford your dream car. So in the words of the great MJ enjoy yourself.....Young King it my be "Priceless" to you and that what's most important. Peace
It cost to be the boss of the road brotha! I was 18 with a brand new SRT jeep! Now I have my own house, trackhawk and everything I want. Having a big car note at a young age only makes you more resposible. Nothing scares me now! I’m 29 now btw! 🔥🔥 That cat is sick afffff!!! Worth every penny!
$1300 is my mortgage bro lol I’d still buy that car if my wife let me. I love that dang hellcat. I pay $890 for my truck Awesome car man, take care of it!
This is gonna hurt: 1300 x 72 months + 13k down-payment? Your paying over 100k for a used one my friend. Ouch. No thanks. Appreciate your honesty though.
In March of 2021 I got a used 2013 Hyundai Tucson with 12-14% interest (can’t remember which one, both are still high) at the age of 20. By the grace of god, just as they were about to tell me “There’s nothing we can do” a older guy pulled up with it and finally decided to trade it in. I thankfully got a co-sign to help me get the car and I love it. Despite having 95k miles on it the car runs smoothly PLUS the man put sensible upgrades in the car that weren’t factory (touchscreen, backup camera, speakers etc.). The only thing I felt about was that I’m sure it was in a minor accident that I wasn’t told about (I found junkyard writing on the upper chassis beneath the engine bay). Despite everything I’d say the monthly payment of $255.64 for 3 years makes it pretty damn fair. They actually tried to persuade the car back off me a week after I got it cause they most likely could’ve charged more
This guy is not an idiot…Car has already gone up 10k since he bought it. Sometimes it’s not a bad idea to jump in fearless. Be proud of what made you pull the trigger on that deal
Congrats on the whip! You must be making crazy money to justify that on a car rather than investing, as long as you keeping other aspects of your life straight it's all good, enjoy it bruh
Keep on grinding, Bro, i have a 2017 charger hellcat that i bought in 2018. I have 15k miles on it. My car cost 65k in 2018. I put down 23k down and my monthly is 663 dollars a month for 72 months. But Bro if you enjoy your car, keep on driving.

The white is clean, protect it with a crazy wrap and grow the channel. You can turn that payment into a business expense quicker than you’d think. Also consider spending some money to protect the cat man, I just had mine stolen a couple weeks ago, these cars are hotter than ever right now.
It’s that excitement of getting what you always wanted especially when its you’re 1st new ride. Then that buyers gilt kicks in here n there but congratulations I know the feeling of getting what you wanted. I had a decked out camry that I really wanted color and everything for 41k with gap. 2.49% just to lose it later to hurricane ida lol. Saddest day of my life but gap and insurance took care of me. Great video. You're speaking rom the heart. Yes, you're right it don't make sense. However, to attain your dreams in life is not free and costs money. Lot of people don't understand that. Kudos to you for attaining yours.
I got Hellcat 5 years ago for 52k with 3000 miles on it. Put 6k down and my monthly payment was $600 a month and insurance was $75 a month full coverage. It isn't that expensive if you have great credit and driving record.
@@zachjohnson1 USAA insurance. My 2017 Ram night edition full coverage is $45 month. Zero violations on my record and never have gotten into an accident.
Rough estimations here since I don't have actual numbers. If you put $13k down, paying 1200 a month with 9% interest rate your looking at 72 month long loan? In $72 months you will have paid $86,400 + $13,000= $99,400 for the car I don't know what GAP cost you or how you paid it, but your paying over $100k after taxes registration.
To compare what you lost out on had you manipulated your credit, bought new, recieved incentives etc. Hellcat redeye widebody for with all options $91,905- $13,000- $2k (incentive)= $74,905 loan 72 month for 0% $1,035 monthly / $74,905 total 72 months 2.5% (some give 3 months no payments) $1,115 monthly/ $80,305 total You could have literally ordered it and either saved up more money in the 5 to 6 months it takes to be delivered to lower your payment even more and you could have added atleast 50 points to your credit
@@whosJ5 I don't have any social media's lol My advice is don't buy a scat just yet, research your insurance cost, also right now is the absolute worst time to be buying a car with the shortages. Either you buy an overpriced used car or you run the risk of buying a car with missing features. Reason why I'm refusing one of the vechiles I ordered is because it's missing standard features. Basically the prices for scats right now are what hellcats were at before Covid. If you wait you can either get you a better deal on a scat or get you a hellcat for scat prices.

Charger redeye 🔥😮💨but I just bought another car so I’ll refinance in a few months!
Been riding w hemi since 2016 my first truck 04 ram 5.7 hemi at age 12 bought that ho for 4k

I notice most people with negative comments usually have two things in common…
1. They own a shitty car, but always giving financial advice under nice car videos that talk about numbers.
2. They’re older & in my mind they’re just thinking about what they missed out on in their “good ol’ days.”
Wether you pay sticker price or 3 times what it cost, if you make the payments & your priorities are in line, ENJOY IT! It’s yours!
So happy to see you in something you really want, just subbed & hope to see more of your content soon, brother. This is gonna hurt: 1300 x 72 months + 13k down-payment? Your paying over 100k for a used one my friend. Ouch. No thanks. Appreciate your honesty though.
Ok, I believe his parents are on the loan and thus they insured it keeping his insurance payments low.
They actually tried to persuade the car back off me a week after I got it cause they most likely could’ve charged more
You only live once💯 Live it up💪🏽‼️

Rough estimations here since I don't have actual numbers.
If you put $13k down, paying 1200 a month with 9% interest rate your looking at 72 month long loan?
In $72 months you will have paid $86,400 + $13,000= $99,400 for the car
I don't know what GAP cost you or how you paid it, but your paying over $100k after taxes registration.
To compare what you lost out on had you manipulated your credit, bought new, recieved incentives etc.
Hellcat redeye widebody for with all options
$91,905- $13,000- $2k (incentive)= $74,905 loan
72 month for 0%
$1,035 monthly / $74,905 total
72 months 2.5% (some give 3 months no payments)
$1,115 monthly/ $80,305 total
You could have literally ordered it and either saved up more money in the 5 to 6 months it takes to be delivered to lower your payment even more and you could have added atleast 50 points to your credit
Yo what’s your Instagram or something u are a smart guy I wanna reach out , I’m 19. gonna be buying a scat soon i need some advice
@@whosJ5 I don't have any social media's lol
My advice is don't buy a scat just yet, research your insurance cost, also right now is the absolute worst time to be buying a car with the shortages.
