I bought the Victorinox I.N.O.X. in blue for my husband. Then purchased a green one for my son. Since my husband is not one to wear watches (I knew this) it is my favorite. I wear it all the time. May look out of place on a woman's arm but no one has said anything. No complaints, satisfied! I would like the Victorinox Night Vision next, just for going to the movies.
Seth Kube, Glock’s are hardly cheap bud and Glock’s are one of ... if not THE best built/most durable handguns in the World so I’m not sure what your point is. Not to mention, Victorinox now makes a very high quality automatic movement to this line.
Keyser Söze not to revive an old thread but, I mean cheap compared to what. Glocks are cheap, very cheap. That is why so many police forces choose Glock. Not Wilson combat, or STI, or even HK. Glocks are inexpensive, they are durable but they are very inexpensive. Also stock glocks are as rare as a early 2000s Honda Civic.
i bought my INOX pro diver based on your review and i absolutely love it,it fits my wrist nicely as i have quite large forearms and with the weight you automatically feel how rugged it is.and i have also had loads of comments liking this watch
I've owned my Swiss Army Wenger Quartz diver for over 10 years and it's still running strong. I really like the brand and would definitely consider adding another. One crazy thing that happened with it - I was wearing it snowboarding and the weather was between 10-20 with the wind chill and we were at about 11,000 ft above sea level. I got back in the car after a long day and the thing had stopped. I thought the battery had died....nope! Started ticking again once it warmed back up 15 minutes later. Kinda funny!
@@rendesvouxx Wenger is owned by Victorinox. At one time they were separate and both were contracted to make the Swiss Army Knife. Both watches are made in the same factory and share a lot of similarities.
TGV, I have three INOX models, one blue with nato strap (gorgeous), one olive (limited edition with paracord camouflage strap) and a yellow diver that is amazing. The quality of all is superb. The rubber strap of the diver is the best I've ever seen, flexible but strong. For the purpose it was designed, this watch is clicking all the boxes. Recently Victorinox adds a version with the case made of carbon and another made of titanium.
Ernani Junior clearly you know from experience how good these are. I am thinking of saving up for the titanium professional diver, but I have a few questions. 1. Their test video show them putting them through extreme conditions, but I know sometimes companies fake these. Do you think that these can definitely withstand what they showed, or are they exaggerated? 2. I know it is a big watch, so I am wondering how it feels on the wrist. 3. Overall (I know this may be hard) how much do you recommend this watch on a scale of 1-10? Sorry if I’m asking a lot, but I just want to make sure that I spend my money well. Thanks very much.
Im considering to buy this as my first swiss watch How long would you say does the battery last? How expensive is a swap? How often have you changed the batteries?
Purchased the INOX pro diver 2 weeks ago, after first hearing about it here. I LOVE it! I have about 10 watches, all diver's. It has quickly become my favorite. I've paired it with a thick, distressed, leather band. While I prefer large, heavy watches, the INOX is rugged and well-built, however, I don't find it "heavy". I love that Victorinox included the rubber bumper. I'm the type to 'baby' items when they're new and then, after a few years relax a little. I have two very minor observations: 1) I would have preferred a coin edge bezel over the scalloped bezel and 2) I bought the black face model. I would have gone with a blue face, but the blue is very "blah" to me. If Victorinox ever produces the exact same Pro Diver as an automatic, I will be ALL over it.
Great review, I bought the blue dial 45mm professional diver watch and love it so much I have also bought it again in Titanium with a white dial, (but obviously changed the white rubber strap it came with for a NATO strap) I have also with in the last few days bought the original 43mm dive watch in titanium with a green dial with red 24 hour numerals marked on the underside of the glass, which looks very military officers watch in style. Victorinox is also now making the original steel dive watch in a size 37mm and 38mm on a para strap for those who have smaller wrists…… I think these are some of the best looking watches on the market apart from my Tag Heuer blue dial Monaco watch. Proof you don’t have to spend £5000 + on a Swiss made watch that works well and looks fantastic. Keep making great watch review videos.
I got a black dialled Professional Diver model with the steel bracelet as a gift for my graduation based on this review. It goes great on NATO, perlon, and rubber straps too. It does have some heft to it but I find that's a benefit, whereas I'm constantly checking to see if my F-91W has fallen off. I've taken it swimming, fishing, hiking, and hopefully diving one day. I love it to bits, its tough while looking classy, and I wear it in pretty much every situation that isn't formal or the gym. It combines the toughness of a G-Shock with the style and build quality of a much higher end swiss timepiece. Thanks for this review TGV, pure class as always.
Im 3 years late but the red Professional Diver was the watch I bought when I got hired as a Marshal. When I bought the watch I immediately did research and this was the very first video I watched on it. Thankfully, the watch is a very good fit on my wrist and really my only gripe is the second hand doesn't flawlessly line up with the tick marks, which as we all know is a common issue with quartz movements. My favorite feature on the watch is the massive screw-down crown and crown guards. Also, as I'm sure you probably already know Victorinox recently released an automatic version of the INOX, something currently on my wish list. Thanks for what you do and all your awesome reviews, cheers!!
Victorinox is famous for their knives, and they never let me or anyone else I know down. They're a great company with values for loyalty, quality and craftsmanship. That being said, I recently bought a victorinox swiss heritage watch and it also didn't let me down. Top quality stuff. Funny thing: they did many many tests of this watch one include going over the watch with an 8 ton excavator, and a tank , dropping it from 10 meters, 10000ft atmosphere test, and a lot of others and of course nothing happened to it. It really is tough as nails.
After reading and watching reviews on Victorinox watches off the internet. I treated myself to one of these watches a few months ago. I absolutely love the watch. Reassuringly heavy on the wrist. Impeccably accurate timekeeping. Mine is one of the cheaper watches from their range. But i am delighted with the watch. Very good review
Own another Victorinox watch and have a swiss army knife. As a brand itself, Victorinox is one of my favourites, the quality in everything they make is just amazing. Now as for the I.N.O.X, as you said, I also wish there was a ≈40mm version on the bracelet, that would be great for us with smaller wrists. Great review as always Tristano! hope to see more of Victorinox timepieces in the future, regards, Allan.
A little late to the party but I've just purchased one of these. I always have a look to see what your opinions are on watches before purchasing. Thanks for the information.
Thanks TGV for another great watch review, this one prompted me to order the I.N.O.X Professional diver in red after watching. I'm not a small guy and this one is not an overkill for me. Especially being so durable I will wear it without fear of damage at the gym when hitting iron.Since watching and becoming a subscriber to your channel I have become an overnight collector primarily of Seiko, Graf Zeppelin and Orient brands but now I am considering adding Victorinox to my collection. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your new posting excelsior !!!!
I purchased the mechanical / automatic with blue Guilloché dial and steel bracelet, what a beautifully made timepiece, love the sweeping second hand and exhibition case to see the movement at work, really chuffed, really a tough-looking watch but still very elegant, hopefully, lasts a lifetime.... love it !
I have owned a Victorinox Maverick chronograph for a year now. I work at the warehouse of a factory, which means I have to move things around, ride forklifts, use impact tools and carry heavy stuff all in an environment full of hard surfaces and sharp edges. I've used the watch every day and in that time it has suffered a staggering amount of hard knocks and shocks, yet it still works and looks like new! The sapphire glass and the rotating bezel are intact. You can only tell it is a used watch by the slight scratches on the steel bracelet, but you have to look up really close. My only complain is that it is slightly less accurate than one would expect, about three seconds off every month, but that is my mania for accuracy talking. If you need a watch to work with and one that looks good (not those ugly G-shocks), don't doubt it: Victorinox. Cheers!

Awesome reviews. I bought the automatic version, black dial for my 30th birthday. Truly love this watch. When you have it in real you can see how beautiful it is. The combination of polish / brossed finishes is awesome.
Absolutely obsessed with your channel, great reviews! I've been going through all your videos of entry level watches.I had no idea you could have such quality entry level watches. But I'm also enjoying the mid-level recommendations. Thanks for the great advice.
omg, you finally reviewed a Victorinox.... Good for you!!! I love my Victorinox pieces. Maybe it's just me, but, I thought that Diver looked good on you. I wouldn't go any bigger, but that was okay.... That was a good look for you....
Just purchased the Automatic version in blue dial and metal bracelet. I love it and can’t get enough of it. Amazing timepiece! As tough as their cutlery. Grazie per il tuo video!
I own the original with bracelet and I love it the weight is heavy but it feels good whilst wearing it. My only criticism is the bezel does scratch very easy. 9/10 in it's price range!
By far you are the most unbiased watch reviewer on youtube. With your honest review on invicta unlike others who blindly hate on certain watches, you have gained my respect. Could you kindly offer an honest review the VICTORINOX MAVERICK (241789 or 241605 or 241824) and any of the filippo loretti diver watches that claims to use the seiko movement. Im slowly getting into watches and over time have accumulated the following 1. Tissot couturier (dads gift) 2. Invicta pro diver 3. Seiko 5 srpb94k Im now keen on the victorinox maverick..you are the only watch enthusiast i am relying on when it comes to making the right decision. I hope you can fulfill this request. Cheers, Paul
I picked one up (admittedly gray market) for about half retail. That's pretty much all I think this piece is worth. I needed a beater to wear at the beach and this fits the bill. My copy has a dial that doesn't align with the movement (a minor annoyance) and oddly, when the date change snaps into place (about 12:10 AM), the minute hand springs forward I'd guess about 15 seconds. It floats back over the next several hours so by the time I get up in the morning, It's not noticeable. A decent watch at $250 but certainly not worth $595 especially given the average Joe quartz movement.
Honestly, I find the Vic Swiss Army Dive Master 500m to be quite a bit more comfortable than the Omega Seamaster Pro Diver on my wrist. When soaking wet I like the Victorinox 500m feel better. One of the best professional divers' ever made. And I always appreciate the heavy-duty rubber strap feel when it's wet and I'm under surface level.
The tank spec sounds impressive but in all reality that Tank probably puts down less ground pressure than a large human would or at least a small car. Its the whole reason vehicles like that use treads.
Hello everybody, great video, great watches! The Victorinox INOX is so great that I bought one in titanium with a leather band. The titanium is so light that the bigger size of the watch is forgotten on the wrist. This material is also very resistant against corrosion, which is why I want to use my INOX for windsurfing and snorkeling. The leather is the same that is used for boots of firefighters and is resistant against fire! Extremely cool! The INOX is so fantastic that I can almost realize a one watch collection. It keeps me away from buying other watches all of the time, even though I have a lot of timepieces in favor. My second watch is a very rare Kirium F1 Chronotimer from TAG Heuer with a shiny silver case and buckle and a black rubber band. To sum it up, I recommend the INOX to everybody. It is even good for people who have a Casio G-Shock, because the INOX has Swiss style and therefore looks better than every G-Shock ever made. Have fun! Konstantin
hello, i own standard INOX for 3 years and i couldn't be more happier. I own luminous, g-shock etc coz of robustness, but this watch is on different level. Its well built, finished, and handsome watch. It goes with casual and formals, you can do that with luminox and g shock. The craftsmanship is on par, i have pretty rough use and it had many scratches but its tank. I am gonna buy a divers version for more casual look, i built standard blue INOX with brown leather belt and it look more formal and descent. For your entry level swiss watch victorinox is better than tissot for the quality and craftsmanship they give. Good to go guys, buy them and you fall for it.
However Fredericos awesome synopsis on the sistem 51 has really won me over. I'm a working professional/student and an automatic is in order(sold my skx007 and have regretted every min of it lol). Outstanding work gentlemen and keep up the great work! Mr Wayne over and out. 🌑⚡️😎
For the Swiss inox, mechanical over the quartz? I have been sitting on this decision for sometime and I can’t make up my mind. Money is a factor for me also.
Well, I love my INOX red version. They introduced this model in 2015 (a year after green, blue and black) - just becaouse, they were not satisfied with the colour. It did not passed all their tests. So they were testing it another year! I love it!!!! Iam proud to collect all the scratches on it. I have absolutely no mercy during construction work, diving, traveling, cycling, spa atc.... It is only a problem, when I put on wrist my Omega watch. You just get that habbit! :D
Beautiful watch and i just purchased the "INOX Autumn Spirit" last month including cool and very comfortable paracord strap. I totally love it. Unlike the mechanical automatic version it withstands all the 130 tests originally designed for the INOX quartz watch for celebrating their anniversary in 2014. It has a very good quality 5 jewels swiss made Ronda 715 serviceable movement with EOL battery function. While i know that many watch snobs disdain quartz movements (sighs) i wish everyone should agree that BOTH versions have their beauty and strengths, both beautiful automatic and extremely reliable quartz one. Wonderful watch and i feel it's becoming an iconic timepiece, if not already. I love your intro too btw, i have always loved John Barry's music and feels:)...Pure class...(words from a simple watch enthusiast enjoying his INOX timepiece a lot)... PS:i know there as been many tests on it but since you mentioned tank one and since it has a soo cool music (The Troggs - Wild Thing) and feel here is the 64 tons tank test, which is an illustration and not the laboratory test of course (8 tons hydraulic pressure!), very nice photography and sound work too: ruclips.net/video/EBbynU8dars/видео.html I simply love all, a unique and such a great timepiece.
I have the old Dive Master 500 automatic. The INOX diver has few issues, mainly: 1. overpriced, compare to Dive Master 500 line, it is a step backward. 2. the bezel is not easy to use as DM500, if you have thick wet glove on. Also the bezel on DM500 is more useful with 20mins marks. If they drop the price to much lower, it would be a good buy. Or if they keep the price, they should make it at least 500m water resistant.
hi, i love Victorinox too, and i have 24 victorinox knives but i don't have their watch and i started thinking to buy I.N.O.X but i'm doubt about the rubber band, and i'm consider to buy INOX with stainless steel band. what do you think about the rubber band? because i have luminox after 1 and a half year, the rubber band starting a little crack and continued almost all of the rubber band cracking.
I had actually heard on another watch review channel that they make a non pro diver "ladies version" at 37mm and it is indeed true. Looks just like the male version in the same colors and without a date window. Very nice option if you don't mind it undersized slightly down from 40mm.
@@charlesbelville5090 this is the exact watch that I got and so far it is very light, comfortable and you still get the toughness of INOX. I had the 42mm but it was too big and heavy for me.
TGV, The magnetic protection can be done in two ways. 1) Some companies create what is essentially a faraday cage of iron inside the case to dispurse the magnetic flux 2) others simply remove all ferromagnetic materials from the movements entirely. This is harder to do than it sounds. Omega designed a movement that uses silicon and titanium components, that is pretty much completely indestructible via magnetic flux. 15,000 gauss protection rating on those iirc. On a cheap watch like the victorinox, its extremely doubtful they have titanium, silicon, and carbon components in that regard, so its probably a faraday cage. Easier to do than it sounds :)
Got myself a INOX with a black dial + SS bracelet at a 70% discount last year. TGV, you were correct that the bracelet adds to the toughness, and rigour to the watch, thanks for suggestion.
Hands down the best bang for your buck Swiss watches. I highly recommend the airboss automatics. I daily an M8 it's outstanding. Edit 2021 And I just picked up an Inox black face automatic on a stainless bracelet. Outstanding!
Love the Intro music to this Video! JB. I own three Victorinox.. the INOX with the metal bracelet which is really really well made... fiddly at first to get used to but.. once you do you love it. The bracelet version gives a totally different look. Very robust quality watch, Just recently got the Night vision and that too is an awesome watch, very well made, and then I have a Maverick. All quartz but they all serve as my rotational beaters. Quartz has its place and for their types of watches I do think it is appropriate. Highly recommend trying a Victorinox if you have never bought one.
Not exatly the first to comment, but I saw this first now. I own the INOX and love it. I have the blue with the red second hand and its gourdges. My rubber strap got worn out sow I am saving up to the paracord or braclet starp. For now I have on a Blue and with/orange striped Nato strap and its getting a lot of good attention. It was a gift for my 30'th birthday and I can see it being passed down the generations, my son already wanting it with the frase "Dad, dont you want a new watch soon. And by the way, my watch got lost probably stolen" Sow eventually I hope to pas it down for generations:)
Great review - first time watcher - Just ordered a pro-diver with bracelet and blue dial.. no remorse and stoked to hear how highly you regarded it. Will be interested to see however how the size feels after all your commentary. Was looking for something that I would never need to remove regardless of diving, sailing, SAR, etc - looks like this is the one.
beautiful watch , I had one , a victorinox 241778 titanium but made the mistake of selling and now in the process of acquiring a 241638.1 all stainless steel, definitely plan on making this one a keeper , really nice looking watch built tough ,
Great description and review, you really get a feel for the Watch. I still have a Wenger, their competitor, I got as gift about 25 years ago. Still love it and it’s about 38mm so that may help your oversized problem. I read recently Victorinox took them over when they were going under and saved the entire brand, another great move.
I just received mine today. I have the black pro diver as you reviewed with the rubber strap as well as a 43mm stainless steel with a green dial but with the metal bracelet. The bracelet version with the special clasp are hard to find on the Victorinox website. I’m definitely keeping them both!! By the way I’ve watched your review countless times. Love the accent!
my first one, the one with the orange strap was an impulse buy; an addiction was born; the one with the burgundy strap and dial is arriving next week; i also decided that, to the extent that i need divers (for timing my pasta when the oven timer is being used for other part of the meal) i will order a couple of their diver units. ther diver units are the only ones to reposition the discussion away from rolex and tudor and their homages and to offer a completely different look for divers and this makes me happy, save for the expenditure of course. i would gladly own some of these instead of a black bay, a pelagos or a subbie. it is stepping away from the beaten path, it is a beast, tough as nails and looks good too. thank you for the validation, t.
I did get the black dial version you reviewed. The quality is everything you said. Beautiful watch. It feels a lot more expensive than it is. I bought mine from a local dealer so I got it at a very good price.
I believe the rubber bumper is used as protection against scratches. As solid as the watch is and for all it can withstand, it's not scratch proof! Well the case at least.
I just left my Victorinox automatic dive master 500 in a hotel safe that I'll never get back. For the 10 years i had it ran beautifully. I let it sit for Months at a time would always start right up. And it had a very close to sweeping seconds hand. It is no longer sold even if i wanted to drop the $1500 for a new replacement. Id 100% know if i seen it as it had a very unique scratch on the clasp. Now im looking for a new automatic watch in the similar price range. Something with the most quality for longevity. Any ideas ??
I ordered the Pro Diver in blue after you mentioned the regular INOX in a segment on robust watches with Federico. I got it for $309 (jomashop I think, with a $20 first purchase discount). Interestingly, it arrived after 2-3 days shipping the day after my C. Ward Trident C300 (red bezel) arrived. Loving both of them, alternating almost daily with both depending on the occasion. Got a blue and black NATO for the Pro Diver but am liking the rubber strap so much I haven't tried it out yet! Was pleasantly surprised to see this review on the Pro Diver a week after I got one!
Maybe late but purchased one today, red version of the diver (black one in your video). Incredibly comfortable watch, fits well, I have a bigger wrist than yourself, but not that big. Wanted a watch I could bash around and take into the surf but is also red. It's a winner. Surprised at how comfortable it is, don't notice I'm wearing it, maybe that's the strap.
Love when you do special intros for the brands. Always classy, always appealing. You can tell when a man loves what he does. You should throw everyone off and do an Invicta video. J/K please don't.
Hey TGV, can you double check the lug width on the red one? Everything I've seen says its 21mm. Like the bambino, 21mm lugs make strap hunting a little more difficult. I'm glad you finally got your hands on not one but two Victorinox!
Very thorough, detailed and appealing review my friend! It made me order one - the all metal version with blue dial, to be exact. Hope to receive it this week!
So psyched- I ordered the black Professional Diver and it's coming tomorrow. Got it for under $400 USD with next day-shipping from WatchMaxx.com with a 2 year warranty. (Nice deal, as it's still $595 from Victorinox' website.) Sharp watch! I've got a 7.5 inch wrist and sometimes like a larger watch like this one.
Johannes Kathol bnc.lt/focc/DJ4MEQ9f7I that is the link to my posting. That’s for both of them i have a listing of them separately, if interested please make an offer to your comfort and I’ll see if i can match it!
There's nothing wrong with the size of this watch and I just ordered one online! I even own an Oakley Minute Machine, which is substantially bigger and heavier than the Victorinox INOX dive watch. I can't wait to put my hands on my new watch.
I have both these models and I could not be happier. I disaggree about the size. I would have like the INOX version ine at 45mm as well. They suit me but could have been bigger. I am 6.2'' at 227 pounds or 102 kilograms. I really like this model. Great content and thank you
I'll love to see a review of the Victorinox INOX V which is 38mm diameter (supposedly for woman, however there is several models with neutral unisex colors) I've a 6.5" inches wrist and I'm usually like watches from 36 to 40mm so that particular watch is grabbing my attention in the past few days, awesome content by the way, keep up the great channel you have
Fantastic watches. Very sturdy. Strong. Reliable. Well built. Great looking too. Easy to change the batteries in them as well. Not a quartz watch lover. But I own several of these as daily wear pieces. Love their parachrom and naimakka straps.
So glad to hear, that makes my day! Enjoy the Muddy, I think mine is due for a follow up video soon. Thank you Mark, your comment makes my day! Best regards, TGV
I own Alliance Sport Chrono in black on black rubber. Really love them. I only wish they made mechanical version too but very functional and that Ronda runs just few seconds a year off
If I may offer a suggestion, note your wrist size in the vid, or at least the notes. It's amazing to me how many times I've seen wrist shots, which are intended to give size perspective, with no mention of the size of the wrist the watch is on. Most of the time I'm watching videos while watch shopping, I know the specs, but I want to get an idea of how it will wear on my somewhat flat 17cm wrist, especially a watch this size. Gov, what size is your wrist again? 6"? Thanks for the good vids. I hadn't heard the wear spec on the rubber band, and many fail to even mention the lug to lug. BTW, I emailed Victorinox today about replacement straps & bracelets on the Pro Diver. They have the 21mm replacements for the non diver, but nothing on the site for the 22mm watch. BTW, they have a 37mm in the non-diver....
Undoubtedly a beautiful watch. This watch is so strong that it has survived a fall of 1.20 m on concrete without substantial damage. Disadvantages are the inaccurate clockwork which is significantly running fast and the material of case and bezel, which is so soft that at the slightest touch with eg. the wall of a staircase the bezel gets scratches. The watch is already littered with microscratches after half a year of normal wear, no rugged outdoor use. Victorinox should provide this soft 316L steel with a surface hardening. Then I would immediately get another professional driver.
I think the alternate brushed and polished surfaces look rather nice on the red one. Will have to take a peak next time I'm at the Swiss army store. Great video, will stay tuned!
Nice edited intro very cool, about the Victorinox diver watch my own conclusions after a few weeks. I actually bought this is a working watch, since I own a Breitling Superocean Chrono that I can't really use in an industrial environment and after my 10 y.o. Nautica watch died I thought to get this one . . after using it for one day at my job as an operator in the petrochemical field I concluded this watch was way to nice to use in such unforgiving environments. So now it's my B-watch, my recently serviced Breitling ofcourse my A-watch and a cheap but highly functional Casio Illuminator became my C-watch aka work-watch. OK back to the subject matter, the Victorinox INOX divers watch.I ordered the black one with the rubber strap from Amazon, honestly I really liked the look of the 'regular one' with the cool paracord strap however there was a great deal online and the price difference made me go for this one instead. I am thoroughly okay with this watch as a B-watch now because my Breitling is just to thick and hefty especially when worn under a winter jacket's sleeve. The big minus about this watch I discovered rather quicky and that is the rubber strap. The strap is of good quality but is a constant pain in the ass to take off. Putting it on your wrist is easy taking it off is a bitch, the strap is really tight and you really have to work it to get it off and I don't even have major hands or fingers. I will probably order a paracord bracelet from Victorinox that is unoficially not a fit but they are the same with so they will most likely fit. Also ai was slightly dissapointed the watch didn't came with a complementary swiss knife. It is also not as thick as I thought it was but that is ofcourse coming from a Breitling user. I hope that this will help someone who wants to purchase this particular watch. PS i like this channel, keep up tye good work. I am also a clock-O-holic :-)
incredible review man! Thanks a lot for all your videos. I'm automatically smiling when I see your smiling face.. keep smiling all your life! I recently got the grey one, with the leather strap, love it so much.. Two disadvantage I found, 1 you can't really read the time at night. 2 The stretches are very noticeable with this finish.. sorry about my broken english..
I would like the Victorinox Night Vision next, just for going to the movies.
nancy c you've got to be the greatest wife ever to ever leave a RUclips comment. Love watches. Hopefully your son picks up the bug.
@David Muenchow Prick!
Would be great if they also gave us a tank so we could test it ourself.
Got my inox in today, surprisingly comfortable for its size and definitely the g shock of steel watches. Hope to get the diver someday.
Victorinox is the "Glock" of Swiss Watches.
MacPro8CoreMan or the 90’s Camry lol.
Glocks are cheap if that’s what you mean
Seth Kube, Glock’s are hardly cheap bud and Glock’s are one of ... if not THE best built/most durable handguns in the World so I’m not sure what your point is. Not to mention, Victorinox now makes a very high quality automatic movement to this line.

"Red on Red" is military-speak for asking your side to fire on or near your position as the enemy is right there with you. A rather brave call.
I love the red one but I don't know what outfits I would match it with.
i bought my INOX pro diver based on your review and i absolutely love it,it fits my wrist nicely as i have quite large forearms and with the weight you automatically feel how rugged it is.and i have also had loads of comments liking this watch
Actually in combat situation, the bumper is there to avoid your watch shining like a mirror and attracting enemy's attention.
Very cool! Thank you

Without a doubt one of my favorite channels. Excellent presentations, intros and music.
Thank you so much :D Very kind.

Haha, what a great story, just needed some warmth and tick! Love it.
Thank you my friend,
Best regards,
TGV
Great story

Have two Wenger Chronographs for over 15 years and they just need batteries and keep on going... Also have Victorinox and it is a dress watch tank...
Im considering to buy this as my first swiss watch
How long would you say does the battery last? How expensive is a swap? How often have you changed the batteries?
I have been tempted so many times by this, love the new Pro Diver. Great video Tristano :D
I’ve had the INOX automatic now for a few months and it’s an amazing watch !
What does Hugo think about a Victorinox Alpnach.. from 2015...
I'd be interested to hear your comparison between Victorinox dive watches vs Marathon.
I'm amazed - two quartz watches whose second hands hit the seconds markers precisely.
It's a rarity, even for INOX. Honestly.
Haha, I ALWAYS notice that and it's a pet peeve of mine when they are off the mark
I may just be lucky but every citizen I have had hits the second marks perfectly. I think citizen is really underrated.
You should check out Seiko sir
Second hand missed hit the line sometimes
Absolutely love the diver...great size for my wrist! On my list!!! Thanks
Dexter Nesbit what size is your wrist? Thanks
I got one for my high school graduation. I value it more than my seamaster simply because of the sentimental value
That's cool, that's how it should be.
Agree completely- love my omega but also my Victorinox models
@David Muenchow Don't comment then
Own another Victorinox watch and have a swiss army knife. As a brand itself, Victorinox is one of my favourites, the quality in everything they make is just amazing. Now as for the I.N.O.X, as you said, I also wish there was a ≈40mm version on the bracelet, that would be great for us with smaller wrists.
Great review as always Tristano! hope to see more of Victorinox timepieces in the future,
regards, Allan.
Thank you Patrick, finally got there!
Best regards,
TGV
Just purchased the Automatic version in blue dial and metal bracelet. I love it and can’t get enough of it. Amazing timepiece! As tough as their cutlery. Grazie per il tuo video!
Nobody and I mean NOBODY can touch your intros! Honestly, it's excellent work. Great review! Thanks TGV
Thank you so much Mike, very honoured indeed.
Best regards,
TGV
I own the original with bracelet and I love it the weight is heavy but it feels good whilst wearing it. My only criticism is the bezel does scratch very easy. 9/10 in it's price range!
Damn that intro was spot on!
Thank you so much :D
Best regards,
TGV
what was the video from the intro from, the one set in the steel factory?
By far you are the most unbiased watch reviewer on youtube. With your honest review on invicta unlike others who blindly hate on certain watches, you have gained my respect.
Could you kindly offer an honest review the VICTORINOX MAVERICK (241789 or 241605 or 241824) and any of the filippo loretti diver watches that claims to use the seiko movement.
Im slowly getting into watches and over time have accumulated the following
1. Tissot couturier (dads gift)
2. Invicta pro diver
3. Seiko 5 srpb94k
Im now keen on the victorinox maverick..you are the only watch enthusiast i am relying on when it comes to making the right decision.
I hope you can fulfill this request.
Cheers,
Paul
Fantasic review! Just what I was looking for...Thanks for confirming my purchase for me!
I own 2 Victorinox in my collection and hope to add this diver. Awesome. Great honest and fair review, well done Sir
PS:i know there as been many tests on it but since you mentioned tank one and since it has a soo cool music (The Troggs - Wild Thing) and feel here is the 64 tons tank test, which is an illustration and not the laboratory test of course (8 tons hydraulic pressure!), very nice photography and sound work too: ruclips.net/video/EBbynU8dars/видео.html
I simply love all, a unique and such a great timepiece.
I have the old Dive Master 500 automatic. The INOX diver has few issues, mainly:
1. overpriced, compare to Dive Master 500 line, it is a step backward.
2. the bezel is not easy to use as DM500, if you have thick wet glove on. Also the bezel on DM500 is more useful with 20mins marks.
If they drop the price to much lower, it would be a good buy. Or if they keep the price, they should make it at least 500m water resistant.
I gotta say I love Victorinox I’m a huge fan, got 6 of their watches and 4 knifes, all great quality and value.
hi, i love Victorinox too, and i have 24 victorinox knives but i don't have their watch and i started thinking to buy I.N.O.X but i'm doubt about the rubber band, and i'm consider to buy INOX with stainless steel band.
what do you think about the rubber band? because i have luminox after 1 and a half year, the rubber band starting a little crack and continued almost all of the rubber band cracking.
Beautiful design on that diver version.....but what a boat anchor!!! I second the 40mm.
Haha, great way of putting it!
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
I had actually heard on another watch review channel that they make a non pro diver "ladies version" at 37mm and it is indeed true. Looks just like the male version in the same colors and without a date window. Very nice option if you don't mind it undersized slightly down from 40mm.
@@charlesbelville5090 this is the exact watch that I got and so far it is very light, comfortable and you still get the toughness of INOX. I had the 42mm but it was too big and heavy for me.
TGV,
The magnetic protection can be done in two ways.
1) Some companies create what is essentially a faraday cage of iron inside the case to dispurse the magnetic flux
2) others simply remove all ferromagnetic materials from the movements entirely.
I own this watch, received it as a gift. I love the weight and feel of the watch. WIsh it was a mechanical movement, but a great watch none the less.
Edit 2021
And I just picked up an Inox black face automatic on a stainless bracelet. Outstanding!
Watching the stress test videos for this watch truly astounds me. Great review TGV loved the intro.
Btw the 34mm jlc looks fantastic!
Thank you so much!
funny I was watching their videos just now too, amazing!
Best regards,
TGV
You’ re the best! Am 15 years old and I love watches, probably I will save some money and buy this solid watch.
So happy about this upload ! I remember on the facebook group you liked my post about the 'female' sized victorinox :) thanks TGV !
Nice!!! Very glad to hear, I have to check out that Victorinox again!
Thank you Richard,
Best regards,
TGV
I just received mine today. I have the black pro diver as you reviewed with the rubber strap as well as a 43mm stainless steel with a green dial but with the metal bracelet. The bracelet version with the special clasp are hard to find on the Victorinox website. I’m definitely keeping them both!! By the way I’ve watched your review countless times. Love the accent!
You look so young man! Great victornox review, I’m searching a inox today. Just trying to find whether it’s a durable watch.
my first one, the one with the orange strap was an impulse buy; an addiction was born; the one with the burgundy strap and dial is arriving next week; i also decided that, to the extent that i need divers (for timing my pasta when the oven timer is being used for other part of the meal) i will order a couple of their diver units. ther diver units are the only ones to reposition the discussion away from rolex and tudor and their homages and to offer a completely different look for divers and this makes me happy, save for the expenditure of course. i would gladly own some of these instead of a black bay, a pelagos or a subbie. it is stepping away from the beaten path, it is a beast, tough as nails and looks good too. thank you for the validation, t.
Thank you, makes sense, hence the name "bumper" I guess
Best regards,
TGV
Great review brother!!! I have the standard version in black color, and yes, it feels big and heavy. Like you, i would like a smaller version too!!!!
Thank you Licenciado. Enjoy it.
Best regards,
TGV
Just pulled the plug and purchased the big beast. SO excited!!!
The next watch I plan on buying is a green face Victorinox Maverick. Green is supposed to be my lucky color.
I've got the I.N.O.X mechanical with the wooden strap. Man I love this piece.
I've got a 7.5 inch wrist and sometimes like a larger watch like this one.
godfatherNYC Do you like it? Did you get the real Professional Diver? How did watchmaxx perform?
I have the regular one with bracelets let me know if interested!
can you show a picture?
Johannes Kathol bnc.lt/focc/DJ4MEQ9f7I that is the link to my posting. That’s for both of them i have a listing of them separately, if interested please make an offer to your comfort and I’ll see if i can match it!
BenDangS Thanks. Im looking for the Professional Diver.
Great content and thank you
Gary Abrahams i read that the case scratches easily. Is it true?
There is the option of buying the ladies version, 37mm. I think I would, but I don't know if it is too small the dial with the bezel.
I always liked watches but you have opened my eyes to a whole new world. Just taken delivery of my first g.shock mudman. Loving it. Cheers T.
So glad to hear, that makes my day! Enjoy the Muddy, I think mine is due for a follow up video soon.
Thank you Mark, your comment makes my day!
Best regards,
TGV
yes have a mudman myself love this watch so functional and tough.
I know they use quartz for reliability... but Id buy one of those red hotties in a heartbeat, had it had a automatic!
I own Alliance Sport Chrono in black on black rubber. Really love them. I only wish they made mechanical version too but very functional and that Ronda runs just few seconds a year off
The smaller version is the dive master 300mm it’s vintage now but I own one and if you can find one it’s an amazingly solid dive/tool watch 💪🏼💪🏼
What do you think about the automatic ones now?
Very nice review 👍
Hope that you will make another one with the Inox mechanical version now that it is available
TGV - what are you thoughts on Victorinox Maverick Mechanical (Automatic) 241705?
Thank you Jason :D
Best regards,
TGV
Its such a shame they beefed up their prices in the past few years. Keep it up TGV!
Yeah, it's not fair that they make a profit to stay in business. The nerve.
Just ordered the original and got it for 249 USD. So excited to receive it.
I bought one, because of its size, which made that decision easier. Love it when diving.
That red Victorinox is great looking watch.
Certainly is!
Thank you Carlos,

you're doing a very good job !!!
Agreed Carlos. Buying one of these would take a lot of strain off the other pieces in ones collection.
I got one.⌚️
incredible review man!
Thank you so much Hanan, what a kind comment indeed.
So glad to hear you have the grey one, love the grey.
Best regards,
TGV
