Drove Cat 777 had some real pluses over Terex .My only gripe was the dump lever.(you needed to have the arms of a gorilla) And the guy that designed the cab must have used a porta-potty as a model.
Ive driven a few articulating dump trucks, bell b50s are the biggest i got to operate. Those are 50 ton. I could only imagine how awesome it is to be in this machine every day.
It's easy to drive if I known you didn't need anything but a driver's license I would have applied for a job a long time ago I thought you needed a special kind of license.
2 grandpa's both trucks 30+ yrs. Hauled everything u can think of.....no comparison. My dad, stepdad, 4 uncles and now myself have all worked in surface, and underground between them all I'm last 40 years.....oilfield equipment t don't touch them....especially big boy end dump.
