Just goes to show you don't need a massive array of paint brushes to get a really good quality model on the tabletop! Also the necrotic flesh works wonders!
@@warhq1944 yes. please show color choices specifically for the AK uniform color variations. Most reference photos on line are in black and white. love this video on the 8th for the same reason.
i usualy don't order from Warlord directly but to local shop. Last month i PRE ORDERD it as soon as i saw the post on facebook! so nice and unique ! thanks for those mins ! (a cheer up from Paris )
Personally, I would have used the Skeleton rattle can, which would prime the model & painted the uniform at the same time. As for the webbing, I feel that Hemp rope or Combat fatigues would have been a better choice. Overall the models looks great, good job.
This is great to see! Supporting the community with painting tutorials is an excellent way to keep gamers engaged and having their forces historically accurate color wise is important. I also think it’s important because Games Workshop has been doing this for a long time and it will help warlord games compete and I agree with others and putting up painting tutorials of other ranges that you offer like black powder and Beyond the gates of Antares these are also a couple of games that need more representation in my area of Atlanta Georgia
Nice to see! Thanks! Would love to see you guys do an infantry unit from all the basic army plastic boxed sets, especially a Soviet or German infantryman.
Bolt Action Ambassador more so painting, but if you would build a full sprue of the bloody soviets, I sure wouldn’t mind! The figures are great, but my slow-witted self can’t seem to match up the arms with some of the weapons! But I’d love to see what color schemes you guys use for a Soviet, German, American, etc.
I am considering getting Into this hobby with the release of the third edition rules. I would be very interested to see how you would paint your models to a high standard.
That's a really neat paint job! What size is that figure and how does it compare to Airfix 1/72's? With retirement on the horizon, I'm going to give painting up some Airfix soldiers a try. I settled on Airfix just for the childhood memories. No real plans for the finished guys at the moment. I'll see how they turn out.
Thatbuzzkill I got into wargaming for the first time this summer, and I’d put the decision off for ages because I was afraid of painting, but as soon as you start you just learn quickly, so just go for it! I’ve had a blast.

"A different brush! Yaaay!" Very interesting to see someone else's approach to these guys. Quite a fan of that Necrotic Flesh for the webbing!
I know lol. I do have more than two brushes!!!

Really liked this. Would like to see more Bolt Action with Army Painter, but historically accurate please so I can copy!
Watch for future content. We have been listening.
Very special thanks for that. Next Africa Korps pls. Keep going on this quality, I love it.
We will as AK to our list. Anything in particular with AK or painting video?

You guys should do how to's on your plastic bolt action figures and maybe some of your black powder range. This a cool tutorial more of this please
Anything in particular with Black Powder you'd like to see?
@@warhq1944 hmm like a spotlight on your Waterloo sets and your Prussian cavalry
Anthony Read I’ll pass that on but I’m sure we could do something along those lines.
I must try the Army Painter shade! Nice video.
It's really good as you can see in the video and available through our webstore.
Still waiting for the full plastic italian range..
Me to. They are coming but you still need to be a little patient yet.
Mussolini's musketeers would be a nice addition with the alpini division too.
Victorian Ghost I want Alpini.

good man paul, had a blast game at the first V2 tournament at Donnington with my US vrs his Brits coming on from all table edges, top geezer!!
You are too kind. We all know I am BA Ambassador because I was too competitive and cried when I lost!

Great Job Paul. Really comes alive
Thank you Christopher. What would you like to see us tackle in the future?

Were going to need an update on this. haha.

Do you mean construction as well as paint or just paint Matt?

Well as you asked so nicely I’ll go away and edit it in the next couple of weeks. What are you painting just now?
Maybe how to paint them using Vallejo?
fantastic job.
Thanks. Want to see how we take this wee model up a step in detail?

Fantastic!

I’ll speak nicely to social media department at Warlord 😁 Thank you for the encouragement 😉
Bolt Action Ambassador no problem I want to get into bolt action but I don’t know how to paint miniatures
Remember you can get into Bolt Action without painting! Painting just adds to the experience ;)

Such a pity Warlord have sold out their 8th army paint sets
Gun? This soldier is armed with a rifle, not a gun. A gun is an artillery piece of some kind.
Disagree with the relentless watering down of paints. Not required in the vast majority of cases.
