update BIOS step by step.
If you see Intel Management Engine Firmware, recommend do it together with BIOS.
*Ac adapter require to plug in for BIOS update

for experience I can say, DON'T UPDATE YOUR BIOS IF YOUR MACHINES IS WORKING FINE, for no reason I updated my bios "new is best I was thinking " and the computer just died, so I had to replace the bios.

My lenovo flex 5 failed to update bios using lenovo vantage? Power already plug in before update. But it only restart the laptop without update bios. . May i know why?

go lenovo support site manual download and try install again. if your warranty still active, maybe you can try call Lenovo hotline
