Hey Alex, thanks for taking the time to provide a comprehensive review on our latest 4th Generation panel, great detailed insights as always.
A couple of updates which have taken place with our 4th Generation Panels since you have filmed this review:
We can confirm all panels no longer have any noise coming from them when dimming, we have redesigned the dimming function, and now all panels shipping out since Jan 24 no longer have this.
Multi Panel setup - we have also introduced our panels to now have a wireless connectivity mode to connect multiple panels and control via the main control panel, this allows both the remote control AND the main control panel to control multiple panels simultaneously. The wireless only emits a signal when this function is turned on, when it is off there is no wireless emissions from the panel. This changed was rolled out start of feb 24 and is now current in our panels to US customers. We expect our AU, UK and NZ warehouses to have panels with the updated wireless connectivity by start of April 24

It is impressive and really nice to see, how quickly BlockBlueLight implements such subtle but great changes!!! I am from Spain and ordered a 4th Gen MID panel. just had to pay 9€ for delivery, really exited to received it.
Daniel, the CEO of BBLight, has given me a wonderful support and answered all my queries and concerns…I can appreciate how this company is trying to do its best.
Hope that next changes include an App and maybe pre setting modes for different treatments (bones, sleep, collagen boost, recovery…etc), as Rojo company started to implement!!!
Great job Daniel, great job Block Blue Light!!!

Hey, thanks for chipping in with this update. great news about the dimming. And also really good news about the multi-panel connectivity and control. As yeah that was a bit of a turnoff if you had multiple panels.
      Nice work!

Speaking of updates, I just went back into my Block Blue cart, (first place on March1) to order the Mega 4.0, after a weekend family emergency, only to see they updated the price $100 to $1599. Very disappointing. Sent an email to Block Blue to see if they would honor the price I had in my cart, including the ALEX discount.
      We'll see!

having 4 of those panels i agree completely with your review. only thing i would like to mention directly from BBL about the remote and no bluetooth wifi etc is the following. Regarding your question about controlling all four panels from one of the panels itself, our panels are not designed to have that capability. We made a conscious decision not to incorporate Bluetooth or any other wireless connectivity directly into the panels. This is because such technologies can increase electromagnetic field (EMF) levels, which may have potential health implications. As our panels are designed to promote health and well-being, we wanted to prioritize minimizing EMF exposure.
In the past, we used cables to physically connect the panels together, but this approach became messy, especially for larger setups. With our 4th Gen panels, we have introduced a simultaneous connection feature that is operated through the remote control. This allows you to control all panels seamlessly using the remote.

Hey, cool - always good to know my thoughts are aligned with those who own the panels!
Ok yeah so the problem with that (and correct me if i'm wrong) is if you have 4 connected - and you can't access the screen on 2 of them as they're pressed up against the other two - and then you want to run say 50% intensity of red, and 75% of NIR, at 500hz for 13 minutes, setting that up on the remote is tricky... very tricky.
      Or am I missing something?

Anyway just select to say thank you. Come across your channel. I’ve watched many videos as I’ve been trying to research for a red light therapy panel which I thought wasn’t complicated but it seems to be your channel has made it much easier. I’ve gone from a little handheld device, I bought for £130 on Amazon to a large panel device which you recommended which is the Red Light Therapy PowerPanel - MEGA from blue bloc light
And the other very good thing was, I used your discount code ALEX and they gave me £207 off of my order so anyway thanks once again keep up the good work. Have a good day. 😺👍🙏 And I purchased it from the UK supplier

      More than welcome
Just like to mention the reason I went for this one even though the ROJIO has smart functions
and the app I know my one has a slower function using the remote but as I have something called SwitchBot within my smart home, I can learn the remote functions to SwitchBot and then I can use Alexa to turn on the red light therapy panel with my own commands
Anyway, many thanks. I am looking forward to receiving and installing the panel. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
      😺🙏👍

Had my Mega panel for a couple of days before one of the fans started to fail. The warranty process has been a complete disaster with tons of miscommunication. I would expect 1-2 weeks tops turnaround since I’m in Sydney but it looks like it’ll be 4 weeks before I up and running again.

Their website states that it’s 1500watts of leds, but then says the power consumption is 580watts, haha. Their leds are soo efficient that they create power. It’s probably common, but they are probably using a misleading way to measure output to boost the numbers. It’s kinda like when you see a shop vac, and it claims 6hp, but you can not get but maybe 2hp from a typical 120v wall outlet.

Got two BBL Gen 4 panels about a month ago. Very happy so far. Note, they shipped directly from Shenzhen, CN so I guess that's where they're manufactured. Guessing most of these panels are made in CN, regardless of brand.

@@dianacoulson4724 Hi Diana. If you can afford it get it. My wife and I (both 54) have noticed improvements in fine lines and, remarkably, a large ugly scar I have on my back from a suspicious mole removal has been transformed. That’s the most dramatic thing I’ve noticed. Something else that amazes me, I get up at 4am on days I have to work in the office. On these days I stand in front of my panel for 2-3 minutes the moment I jump out of bed and it wakes me up and I feel alert. I think doing this helps with circadian rhythm. I’m very happy with these panels. Also look at the Biomax 900 panel. They’re the same price and both excellent. I chose BBL because Biomax has horrific customer support feedback and last time I checked an F rating from BBB.

Hey Alex! I really love your thorough reviews on red light panels and I'm shopping around for one right now. Do you have any recommendations for those in Canada?
A good amount of import products are quite expensive for us by $400-500 above USD pricing plus tax and in some cases, there're added duties and taxes which can add an alarming amount of extra cost. Could you do a comparison of Red Light panels good for us Canadian customers? 🙏

Hej Alex, I have only recently begsn using this panel so can't say if I am getting benifits yet. I am using it top half back anf front 6 minutes each. Then bottom half 6 minutes back and then 6 minutes front. So 24 minutes to get through a whole body. I have so many issues with PTSD, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, so I find it hard to know if I should try to target specifically. At the moment I sm just using the standard settings of 100% NIR and 100% RLT. Is this ok? If I see benefits I will definitely purchase one more to do full body all at once.

Hi, how can I figure out the wavelength ratio on your shopping tool link … does it mean 150 of the 300 leds is of 630 … 102 of the 300 is of 810 … and how does it match the ratio published 17% to 810 ? Thank you

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes that is correct :)
Oh so the issue I have now is that panels have multi chip LEDs. So if the panel has 300 LEDs - but is dual chip - there are 600 chips. So if it has 102 chips (i.e. for the 810) then 102/600 = 17%
      I hope this helps.
I will figure out a better way to share this info in the shopping tool.

It would be the same as a full body red light therapy session for a adult standing up - 4 BlockBlueLight Mega panels joined together.
As as 2 panels on top of each other would be long enough unless you're very tall. But it wouldn't be wide enough for the average size adult.
Hence why you would need 4 BlockBlueLight Mega panels to get full body coverage standing up or lying down.

Most products don't have direct links, a link usually takes you to the company website.
Easy enough to find the exact product on BlockBlueLight website 👌🏾

They do NOT reimburse custom fees/ import taxes to the EU.
*Note: Any taxes or duties imposed by individual countries outside of the United Kingdom is not included in the sale price. When an order is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in our prices and we are unable to calculate import fees added to your shipment. If applicable, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination prior to delivery. For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.
This is a shame as I would have bought this panel but afraid of the import tax to Spain. It would be nice if the company had investigated import fees to countries in the EU, rather than telling potential clients to have to find this information out for themselves.
    Disappointing.

I'm also in Spain and thinking of the Import charges...
There is a girl in these comments in Spain who bought a BBL but I can't find her...
When I do, I'll ask her how much she paid...
Did you get a panel from somewhere else?

Do the smaller versions do the same thing? Same results just on a smaller surface area of the body?

Yes, smaller panels will work. You need to move the panel around to treat different areas.
