I started listen to these guys when i was a kid, im 37, just going through a horrible break up, went from talking marriage to over in a night and this song is what i find myself falling back to after all these years, you guys rock, ive seen you more times than i can count live, helped shape my childhood and now as an adult you guys are still helping through the tough times, thank you
This song serves as a message to that despite falling in romantic love, don't leave out your other loved ones, friends and family, as you move into your coupled life. it's not a superglue pair of life but another person in your circle of a family that you're making bigger. That should make life richer.
I was listening to a podcast interview of a woman who was married for like 70 years or something and her husband had died not long before. She was asked how it lasted so long. After being married for 15 years now, being completely arrogant about my marriage and saying "Well that would never happen to us", then trudging through the trials and tribulations that came later on, her answer just rang more true and harder than I had anticipated. When she asked how her marriage lasted so long her reply was, "well....... we just never got divorced." Any relationship takes work and if one side, the other or both sides do not put the effort in, you will probably fail with how easy it is to divorce in today's society. When I was going through the said trials and tribulations in my own life, this song hit me hard. Taking a long hard look at myself and realizing my own flaws, mistakes and all the rest, a few times this song brought tears to my eyes. The thought of not being around my three kids when I want to be was just heart breaking and completely overwhelming. We are still together and will hopefully remain that way until one of us is no longer here.
@@claytonbjork5687 It's a toss up. They definitely and inarguably are one of the most consistently good bands ever. Hardly a track I can skip past while listening. Never get old to me either. 33 now and not getting any younger and been listening for decades and at this rate will never stop.
Lenny and Bruiser are still together. They went through some very trying times, especially with Lenny's drinking. I think they even separated for quite a while. Lenny is now a long time sober and making amazing music. Incredibly talented songwriter.
Same. When I was a high-schooler I was really into the Murphys and into the Irish Punk scene; Just May 2020, hair stopped growing on my head and I had to start razoring it every three days, lol.
met these asskickers at warp tour denver and they ere hilarious coolest dudes super pissed cuz they fought the crowd in utah and were bumped to small stage but s soon as those bagpipes startedthe intro everyone at mile high parking lot instantly swarmed the small stage Do or Die amazing oh yeah my best bud James cut there hair
@@averyacid6727 Oh, I see. Then there's Ryan Foltz, but he isn't in this video (he left the band before Blackout was released but he was in the video of the title track).

Alot of the musical changes and genre changes, Are contingent on, what the producers and what's being heard in society. just to clue everyone in. They particularly don't have any control what they sing of play. I'm sure they have a opinion , but it's not easy.
Go to a Misfits video and you see the whole Danzig vs. Graves debate; go to a Dropkick video and you the great debate of Mike vs. Al; and as is true with both bands, the originals are both amazing, but a better replacement could not have been found for either. I love Mike's songs, but I would have to say I prefer him in Street Dogs. And I think Al's voice is a better fit for Dropkick. But hey, thats just my opinion.
Okay to answer a few question yes that is rick and Keith this was the only video that both of them were in before they both left. This was a promo video shot in the Summer of 99 the whole 10 Years service was in referance to a strike that was going on with the Boston Firerfighters at the time.
@1600gamerchris, yeah I think Al's voice was perfect for the Oi! sound of The Bruisers but with Dropkick he has to actually sing and i think his voice is to raspy and he cant quite hit the vocal notes that Mike could. When Mike and casey would sing together you had the plain voice of Mike, with the raspy voice of casey so it was a good mix. but al and casey is to much rasp.
