Lovebites and Unlucky Morpheus, my 2 favorite bands ever.
I'm sure people on the Lovebites video told you to check them live and thats what im gonna do with Unlucky Morpheus aswell.
Check out "Angreifer" live, there's some beautiful guitar and violin harmonies going on, solos chef's kiss, vocals chef's kiss... And then theres the drummer possessed by demons

    The relationship between Lovebites and unluckey Morpheuse is a connection with a person Mao. He composes and arranges Lovebites songs. On the other hand, Fuki (female vocalist of Unlucky Morpheus) used to form a band called LIGHT BRINGER with him. Mao has also recently composed songs for Fuki's personal project, Fuki Commune. Now I'd like introduce a Japanese metal band Wagakki Band. They are so unique that your heart might be blown away. Please Check the song;

Fuki (lead singer) is a legend in Japan, and one of the busiest artists anywhere. She is lead singer for UM, Doll$boxx, Lightbringer and her own ongoing project, Fuki Commune. Her style is very much out of the Japanese classical tradition, with the oversold vibrato and intense high notes. She collaborates with a lot of the top musical talents in Japan. Jill (violin) also has a busy dance card, including collaborations with Fuki outside UM. I saw UM live in London last year, when they headlined Metal Matsuri. Great show, and the chemistry between Fuki and Jill is electric.
Next, I recommend Angreifer, live: ruclips.net/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/видео.html
Jill is actually my favorite member of Unlucky Morpheus, and probably the best rock/fusion violinist since Jean-Luc Ponty. Here are links to instrumentals featuring her in UM’s instrumental project Quadratum:

Surprised no one has pointed out that the song is based on Final Fantasy 8, with Fuki dressing as Edea when she has the horns on. There are also a lot of other references to the game in the song. They even have one of the lines in the song that the final boss uses. It was also released at the same time the game was re-released.

I told you, haha. I was sure you would like this one. It's not every song of theirs that have Shiren's harsh vocals but as you like it, I recommend you go to "Angreifer" live video next. If you want to understand how much of a genious Shiren is when composing, check "CADAVER/REVADAC" MV (but it's only Fuki's clean vocals).
Another band I recommend for you is Yousei Teikoku, with the song "Shito Kanadeshi Hametuno Tategoto". No harsh vocals and could sound a little strange at first, but Yui's vocals are very unique and once you get used it's easy to appreciate her technique. Shiren was a member for some years too but since he is suffering and can't play guitar that much, he left them, focusing only on Unlucky Morpheus.

You are on a roll, you reacted to my top 3 bands, Lovebites, Unlucky Morpheus and Nemophila.
As others said, Unlucky Morpheus live is a must see, only Music video I would recommend over live is Cadaver/Revadac with sheet music (important to check that version to comprehend what is really happening)
As for this song, it is about Final Fantasy 8, Shiren's favorite game, they also have songs about Mahjong: Top of the "M" which is more like a pop rock song and their older stuff are about the game series Touhou, they started as a cover band who did arrangements for the music in that series.
Considered a side project for many years, since Shiren left Yousei Teikokou for health reason, UM has become more and more a main project for all members and are very active on RUclips. Their membership on RUclips is great and I have access to so many videos and live shows. Jill often livestreams on her personal channel as well and will play songs from her catalog to classical pieces. Fuki is a beast, she has appeared on over 90 albums since 2008 and most of them are full length and only a few are guest features. She was at one point in 4 bands plus helping other artists: Light bringer, Unlucky Morpheus, Doll$Boxx and Fuki Commune which is her "solo" act with her friends.

One thing I don't see my fellow commenters mentioning is that the four of the members of Unlucky Morpheus formed a sub-unit called QUADRATUM. They made an album called "Loud Playing Workshop," and they play fantasic instrumental covers. They have videos for Yngwie Malmsteen's "Far Beyond the Sun," Dream Theater's "The Dance of Eternity," Steve Vai's "For the Love of God," two Racer X songs, Tony MacAlpine's "Hundreds of Thousands," and most breathtaking of all, a violin cover of Van Halen's "Eruption."

You probably noticed the singer referred to in the comments as "Fuki". This is what she is commonly known as, it's short for her name, Fuyuki. You called her Tenge, this is her surname. Since Japanese and other Asian cultures use the surname first, it's often seen as "Tenge Fuyuki". Also, it wouldn't be pronounced "Tenj", it would be "Ten-gee".

To say I laughed when you said I hope I'm not over hyping this band, would be an understatment.
I saw them live in London about a year 1/2 ago and they are just as good live if not better. They are one of those bands that you can tell love what they do and just want to play, I think they play to 1 man and his dog if that's all that turned up, also you can tell that they are all friends and not a bunch of people that get on a stage and play together.
Now for my standard UM bit.
Unlucky Morpheus (UM) were started in 2008, as a side project, by Shiren and Fuki. They were in another band that was also a side project that did covers of video game songs, after the band stopped Fuki told Shiren that she had enjoyed working with him and wanted to do it again, so UM was started. It was just the 2 of them for a number of years. They did Touhou (a video game series in Japan) arrangement albums. After a few years the fans wanted to see them live, so they asked some friends to help them play live. In 2013 they added another member, who is also a singer, whom Shiren also had a side project with, then they slowly added other members, with Jill violin being the last in 2016, at this point it was still a side project, as all the members were in other bands, 1 or 2 still are. It wasn't until about 2017/18 that they started to make it more full time, as they started to release that they had become popular, not only in Japan, but around the world. They did there 1st tour of Japan in 2017 and played out side Japan for the 1st time in Oct 2019 in London, were I saw them. They have said that they want to do a world tour, but that idea is on hold due to the current problems.
Fuki (singer) is just a workaholic, in 15 years she has been involved in over 90 releases, mostly full albums. Apart from being in UM she is also in Doll$boxx, a side project between her and Gacharic Spin (pop rock), she also has her own solo act, plus many other things she is part of inc guest appearances. She is also a designer and occasionally does modeling work. Also she is not a trained singer, as she say's it'sdthe way her mother sang and that's where she got it from.
Shiren (lead Guitar/growls) is normally the lead guitarist, but he has tenosynovitis of the arm, so has to rest it, now and again, that's the reason behind the guitar he uses on stage, as there is not much weight to it. When Shiren takes a rest, Jill takes over his part playing violin when they are live, in 2 songs, Black Pentagram and Angreifer. He has started to do more growls lately due to his arm problem, so they a lot of songs with out the growls. He was also in the 1st Kami band (Babymetal) at Legend "I", he has also been in lots of other bands. He also plays Bass, Keyboards, Piano, Trumpet, Programming, Drums, Percussion, Arrangement, Composition, and various other instruments.
Jill (violin) is just ........................ What can you say about Jill, that you can't say about the rest of the band, she is just super talented, she is a Tokyo University of the Arts graduate and totally the real deal. She has her own YT channel (jill violin channel). She has also done and still does work with other bands, some of them are big names in Japan. When she 1st joined the band they did tend to put her down in the mix when they did studio tracks, but now as the fans love her, they have moved her a bit more to the front. They have also started a side project called "Quadratum From Unlucky Morpheus" which is Jinya, Jill, Ogawa, and Fumiya. They are doing instrumental covers and have an album out. Fuki has said that the violin takes the part of the vocalist. Try a violin cover of EVH's "Eruption".
Ogawa (bass) is really a jazz bassist, he is in the band as he was friends with the other members before he joined. He was a protégé of Mikio Fujioka, who you may know from Babymetal's Kami band, were in a band called Trick Box, way back in 2008.
Jinya (guitar) has his own band called "Carbonic Acid" and also plays in another band called "Undead Corporation". He has also had to do a bit more of the guitar work due to the problem with Shiren.
Fumiya (drums) Another member that has had a lot of work with other bands over the years inc Galneryus.
There is one more member of the band, who you never realy see, as he only appears at some of the live shows in Japan. He is another singer, who used to be in 2 other side projects of Shiren's, one of them also had Fuki as well. That is "Kasumi".
While UM are a metal band, they refer to themselves as a technical melodic speed metal band, they can play other styles, and often do when live. They some times do jazz, smooth, rock, on Christmas day they did a live stream which was very smooth.
    Try "Angreifer" (live)

You say it has a Devil May Cry vibe but the lyrics of the song are actually based on Final Fantasy 8.
They actually started making rearranges of tracks from the Touhou games so a lot of their music is actually just about nerdy things like anime and video games.

They get a lot of inspiration from video games and anime, so your DMC reference could actually be not that wrong (is that even a sentence?).
As this is a Japanese band, you can never go wrong with live performances. I don't think there's a Japanese rock/metal band that doesn't sound great live (or even better than their studio recordings). Angreifer (means Attacker in German) and Opfer (means both sacrifice and victim, depending on context, in German) are two really great songs from their earlier releases you should definitely check out live. If you want another MV that shows their talent from writing to the last mix, you should check out CADAVER/REVADAC, which is a two song video with a pretty amazing twist.
    Opfer: ruclips.net/video/5gFebphxZLs/видео.html
    Angreifer: ruclips.net/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/видео.html
    CADAVER/REVADAC: ruclips.net/video/_yrNRhIreyE/видео.html (with sheet music)
Also, I saw another comment that mentioned the pronounciation of Fuki's real name, Ten-gey Fuh-yuh-kee. In Japanese you generally pronounce every syllable and letter (with a few exceptions) and a "G" is always pronounced as a softer version of "K". Also, not sure if it's gonna be relevant, but I sometimes like to mention for future reference with Japanese bands that "A" is always pronounced as "ah" (the English "a" pronounciation would be written as "ei" in Japanese Romaji), "e" as "eh", "i" as "ee" and "u" the same as you'd say "oo" in a word (not "yu"). I suck at phonetic English, sorry. I hope it's fairly understandable.

This band are so good! If you want to try some more maybe a live video? They've got loads of amazing ones but Angreifer I think is particularly worth checking out, but you really can't go too far with any choice from them!
I'll also recommend one of the singer Fuki's other projects called DOLL$BOXX. It's a very unique mix of metal, funk, electro/synth, catchy melodies and the sort of complex harmonies and interleaved vocal lines you can only get when in your 5 person band you have 4 members fully capable of taking lead vocal duties (the drummer, guitarist and keyboard player all share lead vocal duties at various points for their main band Gacharic Spin). If you're interested there's this amazing bit of live footage of them performing 3 songs which really shows off what they are capable of: ruclips.net/video/EOLZ2gLGwL4/видео.html
On a side note, I checked out your Cornered single and it sounds really good - super tight musicians and your vocals were spot on, that little touch of grit in your cleans and sharp cutting harshes, hope to hear more soon! Also tell your drummer his fills are tasty af

Check out CADAVER/REVADAC if you wanna see their masterpiece work, or if you wanna see great live performance, Angreifer live is amazing!

After watching your reaction to the epic tune "Dissension", it was obvious that Ankimo (= Unlucky Morpheus, they usually use that short name) would get your praise. But most would say (me included) that their official live videos are the real deal. You'll find them on their YT-channel, take e.g. "Angreifer" (german for "attacker, aggressor") or "Divine Spirit", which are probably the most popular live videos. But whatever song you choose, live or as MV, you'll never get disappointed by this band.
I'm sure that Maximum the Hormone was recommended yet quite often to you; they are legendary; and their signature song, and at the same time the most popular one, is Yoshu Fukushu (as their YT-Channel is qiute difficult to be found, here's the address of that song: ruclips.net/video/beN5ep5MrdY/видео.html; once you are on their channel, which is completely in Japanese, you can choose the songs according to the number of views - you won't fail).

A band which is very close to Ankimo is "Undead Corporation"; drummer Fumiya and Guitarist/screamer Shiren were taking part there years ago, Ankimos second guitarist Jinya still plays in that band. Undead Corporation isn't yet recognized by RUclipsrs that much, you may want to check them out, I think you'll probably like what they do. An offshoot from Undead Corporation is "Devil Within" with probably one of the most skilled japanese screamers, U (Yu). There's a video of the song "Flames of the end" which is absolutely worth to be watched. U got quite famous for one video of a live performance of the song "Greyen" with her former (not sure about that, there's not enough reliable information) band MerginMoon. What she does there is awesome, trust me.
A quite legendary band is Dir En Grey, the most popular tune is probably 9 min. long "Vinushka"; there's a great live video of it on YT. It's deep, heavy content (In the official MV, you'll get a translation of the lyrics). Dir En Grey will drop a new single this week.
Last but not least: The rapmetal band "Choke", check them out, it's crazy weird stuff, maybe right on your alley ... and completely ignored in western countrie's YT; you may first watch and listen to their last video/song "Human Anthem", you'll be surprised, in a good way!
So far, just continue doing your work, it's a pleasure to watch your reactions (finally a YT reactor who really respects the artists he speaks about - by doing the required basic research, even learning their names in advance. Kudos!

Not exactly my cup of tea... but Unlucky Morpheus is one of the finnest bands in Japanese Metal, their lead vocalist (FUKI) is involved in many projects ( She have already worked with SAKI, one of Nemophila's guitarists in the Shred Racers project)
