In fact Asami (vocals) have a R&B, Jazz and Soul background formation, working with a several different artists, she also have formation in chorus sing. Lovebites is her first time singing heavy metal, the band started in earlys 2017
Finally you check out Lovebites. Welcome to the world of Lovebites. Great reaction mate. You know that's asami the singer have operatic voice. And the musician's on this band is awesome. Next song from Lovebites, try the song from they live concert. Because they more better in live performance. I'm suggested "Edge of the world" or "Break the wall" Hope you check out and can enjoyed again. Big thanks for you.
@@GazMASHReacts Edge of the World is a power ballad and the complete opposite of Winds of Transylvania, just to give you a warning. But as far as musicianship, lyrics, and emotional playing it is one of their best songs.
Miyako - the genius and goddess! To me, LOVEBITES are the saviors of Heavy Metal :) Asami (vocalist) said: "We are LOVEBITES and we play Heavy Metal!" You have many great japanese metal bands to check out: Destrose, Mary's Blood, Bridear, Fate Gear, Aldious....and more
This song cracks me up... because the princesses really went for the throat on this one! BAM! Right out of the gate, 100 miles an hour! The first part of the guitar solo reminds me of video game or anime sounds. Haruna is a runaway freight train on the drums! BEST $hit on planet earth right here! GO LOVEBITES! Wolfpack united! \m/
Such power, such majesty, a real metal head cannot help but tear up more than once watching them or listening to their albums. The music and lyrics hit so deep into a metal heart and soul. We, The Wolf Pack, are UINTIED under their command, and every song is a righteous WARCRY to our HOWLING WARRIOR BLOOD!
@@GazMASHReacts You wouldn't be the first person on RUclips to hear Miyako and Midori and immediately feel like you want to sell your guitar(s). Miyako (dark hair) is very influenced by her background in classical piano and Blues. You can hear it here, with the intro to Beethoven's 5th Symphony at the start. And Midori came close to being arrested for torture for the sounds that came out of her guitar here. They really are the most exciting guitar duo (there's no rhythm guitarist in the band) in Metal at the moment. Nemophila are a great band, but these ladies own my heart. Haruna....what can I say that hasn't already been said?
@@GazMASHReacts Thunder Vengeance is good, as is Hammer of Wrath and Break the Wall. Those are their thrashier numbers. A lot of their music is more Power Metal style and they have some Power ballads too. But they have two of the best guitar shredders which are showcased in every song.
Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, but Midori has also been getting into the act, and Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for a little over 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two shredders are very different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist-she only picked up guitar when she was 18. They are amazing live. You should next check out “Holy War” live: "Holy War" Dual shred harmonies: ruclips.net/video/bgAxpEpEcno/видео.html You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the quality is poor. Great reaction. Asami the vocalist grew up studying ballet. She got into singing with a gospel group and then did some R&B before being picked up by Miho and Haruna for Lovebites. By the way that non stop drumming machine is a tiny little thing at 4'9". I really enjoyed your reaction and keep them coming.

In my country (Canada), at school, music lessons are limited to playing white plastic flute. Oh my... But in Japan, music lessons at school are serious: guitar, bass, drum, violin, and a whole bunch of instruments. After school they gather at Karaoke to take turns singing. And then we're surprised that thousands of bands are swarming in the dark concert halls throughout Japan. Maid in Japan!
WOT is an assault on the senses. It’s brutal. There’s sooooooo much going on it takes lots of repeated listens to hear even half of them... and then you still hear more the next time. Welcome to the best band in metal. Now you need to hear them live. Anything from Zepp Diver City Tokyo 2019 or 2020 will melt what’s left of your face. You’re now under the watchful eye of ‘The Wolfpack’. I look forward to seeing you react to more of what I predict will become a favourite band of yours...😂
Welcome to the wolfpack ( unofficial fanclub started on youtube ) They use wolves on all albumcovers and at the opening curtain at live shows, hence the name wolfpack. Once you become a fan you also have been lovebitten .... Look at their covervideo for Hellowen's Eagle fly free; Miho has a small solo-spot. Steve Harris would approve. Also fact ; Haruna is 4'9', but she will kill Gene Hoglan when needed :D
I had to click like before watching the video cause LOVEBITES. Little background, band was formed by Miho when she called her ex band mate from Destrose (more at the end about that band) to form a new band with the 80s British metal sound in mind, all of their songs are in English for that reason. Asami on vocals was a R&B singer and Lovebites is her 1st metal band. Midori and Miyako (who was trained as a concert pianist from age 3) started learning guitars at 18 and are between 30 and 32 atm, hard to find any official birth year. Also, they are better live than in the studio and anything from their 2020 Five of a kind show at Zepp Divercity Tokyo or their 2019 Daughters of the dawn show is pure gold. Avoid any performance from Bloodstock 2018 as they were moved last second to main stage when Suicidal Tendencies could not perform and the sound tech screwed up the audio. As for Destrose, it is 1 of those bands that you can look at and see how it spread, ran from 2005 to 2015 and had a lot of members going in and out, 23 of them full time plus some that were just fill ins. Out of those 23 women, here are the bands that came out out of Destrose that I have heard and I know there are more: Lovebites, Mardelas, Mary's blood, Nemophila, Vampire pledge, Aftermath, mixx, Re:Maker, Fate Gear, Velvet Cherry, Albion, Octaviagrace, Animeta girl, Disqualia

you are so wrong to say they are better live than in the studio, they are better where ever period, you are new I have never seen any of your comments till now. get your info correct, Miyako was 18 and Midori was 20 when they learn to play the guitar
@@salsaucedo Sorry, I have read multiple times that she was also 18 when Midori started learning Guitar, she was around 22 when she started playing with Gejiko Metalicche late 2012 early 2013. If she started at 20 then just after 2 years, she was able to play the way she did with them would be awesome regardless. I do think they are better and many others do, guess what, that is an opinion and that is why I said only 99% of the fans will help. And thanks for saying I am new, last time someone said that to me was probably when I entered school in 1974, and maybe I will post more the same info other posts like some do in other videos to "show" that I am "old" but if I see comments from Hui, Hiawatha, Dr.Frenier, I rarely comment cause they already give great info. Have a great day.

CROSSFAITH - Catastrophe, SiM - Killing Me, COLDRAIN - Die Tomorrow, CRYSTAL LAKE - The Circle, GIVEN BY THE FLAMES - Ronove, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - Yoshu Fukushu, DEVILOOF - Torture, ...
Their live stuff is great. They did two live DVD's in 2019 & 2020. Anything marked "Daughters of Dawn - 2019" or "Five of a Kind - 2020" is good. (Just stay away from the unofficial Bloodstock live material.)

@@bonered9210 I'm sorry to hurt your feelings, but I disagree with you. Both bands are great at their genre so I don't see any reason to argue about that. And even if it's not okay with you: I'll write what I want. Live with it ;)
You will get plenty of recommendations for other Lovebites songs. Like other Jaspanese bands, live is where it is at. To see the girls having a blast on stage have a look at Raise Some Hell: ruclips.net/video/yJw3xMY37Os/видео.html
Sorry to say but google has it wrong, these ladies do not consider themselves a power metal band but a Heavy Metal band Asami yells this in every show they do and I quote "We are Lovebites and we play Heavy Metal". They are very diversified and versatile in many styles and genres it's ridiculous, ranging from hard rock, prog-rock, heavy metal, power metal, thrash metal, grunge and power ballads. They are the real deal, yes japan has produced many awesome bands but not all are Lovebites they stand alone and are the epitome of the rock sounds that has been missing for several decades. Let's see where you go with this as many reactors who turn out to be fake as hell only do one song and the most popular song for their algorithm BS and their channel to grow in views, likes, shares, and subs.
I usually refer to Lovebites as a "power-metal" band, because they do that style so well, and that is my favorite style. But yes, Lovebites can do so much MORE than just power-metal! So it's really unfair to try and label them. They can do it ALL. And they are so amazing at everything. They are my favorite band, so if anyone tries to disrespect them.... the wolfpack will ATTACK!

LOVEBITES - Winds Of Transylvania lyrics:
Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion
Taking in my hands, satisfaction
Deep into the neck, only delusion
Can't resist, insane tonight
Shining like a vine, never enough
Dripping off my hand, cause of desire
Piece of tragedy, fading in moonlight
Sink in red, I'm falling down
Painting truth and lies, over and under
Chasing round 'n' round, closer to thunder
Pushing to the edge, never surrender
Shades of cross inside of my head
Flaming memories of the past
Burn inside of the bloody red eyes
Lying Borderline of a Castle
Winds of Transylvania
Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere,
Fleeting empty fate
Break it down, like a game and I go fallin' now
Make it all end
A silent break of dawn, now the curtain rise
Blood, Thirsty like a lost butterfly
Reaching in now to get you, but then let you go again
Veil searching us under the moonlight
Let me in to a place by immortal fascination
Now, show me the way of the parade tonight
Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion
Taking in my hands, satisfaction
Deep into the neck, only delusion
Can't resist, insane tonight
Flaming memories of the past
Burn inside of the bloody red eyes
Lying Borderline of a Castle
Winds of Transylvania
Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere,
Fleeting empty fate

I love! how much effort you put into this comment! thank you, learning so much about amazing musicians
@@GazMASHReacts Oh, you have no idea, us Lovebites fans love to give info. Some might be more susceptible to criticism but 99% of us are helpful I think and what better way to promote a band that we love? You have open the gate, just let the info flow and enjoy the ride.
Fate Gear.
you are so wrong to say they are better live than in the studio, they are better where ever period, you are new I have never seen any of your comments till now. get your info correct, Miyako was 18 and Midori was 20 when they learn to play the guitar
TELECiDE - Tied up Memories, MARY'S BLOOD - Marionette, BRIDEAR - Light in the Dark, ALDIOUS - Dominator, ANGRY FROG REBIRTH - 2Step Syndrome, HELLO SLEEPWALKERS - Flying Saucer, ...
Watch out for tomorrows upload 🤟
Great reaction! Now it's time for some BAND-MAID, Maximum the hormone, DOLL$BOXX, Unlucky Morpheus, Sokoninaru, ASTERISM...😃
Thank you! I uploaded a Unlucky Morpheus today 🤟🤟
@@GazMASHReacts thanks, I didn’t see that!
Fuki, the clean vocalist from Unlucky Morpheus, is also the main singer in DOLL$BOXX 🙂 check out their song “Take My Chance” to start
You are so bitten.... Welcome to the Wolfpack.
100%
Have a look at any track you want of theirs's live. They kill in a live setting, and that is all there is to say. I want to see them live so badly right now. :)
Me too!!
Next lovebites reaction "holy war" live.. pls...😍
LAS GUITARRAS GEMELAS EN OTRO NIVEL
100% 🤟
The solo are fire
GRAUPEL - Bereavement, UNLUCKY MORPHEUS - Unending Sorceress, NEKO - Ghost on a Record, SOKONINARU - Tenohira de Odoru, ROTTENGRAFFTY - Hallelujah, LYNCH - Devil, JUPITER - My Enemy, ...
Now you only need Band-Maid to reach Heaven ;) Try Warning or Domination
Hahaha I like that 🤣🤟
LOVEBITES and maids are at a very different level, and LOVEBITES is much higher than maids in all aspects such as singing ability, playing skill, and composition ability, The levels are too different to compare. Don't write such a thing in the comment section of LOVEBITES reaction, you can see that the levels are too different.
@@bonered9210 I'm sorry to hurt your feelings, but I disagree with you. Both bands are great at their genre so I don't see any reason to argue about that.
And even if it's not okay with you: I'll write what I want. Live with it ;)
So sad to hear Miho the bassist is leaving the band 😭
Heart breaking, but understandable from what I've read
Try them live
nice reaction. go for "Apollo by Crystal Lake". greetings from Japan.
How's that for a Japanese hickey!!!!!👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🍻🍻
Hi react to Show-ya(look at me, fairy, kurenai) , 1 band female japanese to Heavy Metal (80's) & Mothers musicals to Saki,
You will get plenty of recommendations for other Lovebites songs. Like other Jaspanese bands, live is where it is at. Please try to avoid any live videos from Lovebites when they appeared at the Bloodstock Festival. The audio is poor but it was not the fault of the Lovebites lady's. To see the girls having a blast on stage have a look at Raise Some Hell: ruclips.net/video/yJw3xMY37Os/видео.html
Thank you I'll avoid bloodstock audio 👍🤟
please shadow maker react
React to LOVEBITES - Shadowmaker
Thanks man, it was all I had to go on with it being my first time hearing them lol Looking forward to hearing more, definitely bitten
