👉As a 4th Generation TEXAN...and living in the DFW Metroplex since 96....this was incredible footage of the AWESOMENESS of DALLAS TEXAS & the INCREDIBLE ARCHITECTURE and DALLAS SKYLINE.... it makes me glad I live in the DFW! 👉 GREAT JOB!! 🤗❤🤗 THANKS FOR SHARING!👈✌😎✌
That is incredibly beautiful nighttime footage of Dallas! It's been over 25 years since I've been up there (living in the Killeen-Fort Hood area); now I want to go back and see all the changes made from so long ago.
At the rate that Dallas is still growing, you will see changes pretty much every year. I live here and drive in Dallas every day and it's crazy how huge it's getting, but all the new buildings are beautiful and very well designed. And it's quite spectacular at night! This video is great, but it's nothing like seeing it in real life!
Nice video! They build everything big in Texas.... I had a couple of similar drives in the early '80s-visiting relatives in the Dallas Area (Forney): one of them gave me, my Mom and my Grandma a tour of Dallas at night-before picking up my Aunt at D/FW at 11:30 PM! A few nights later-same drill as my Aunt had a 11:00 flight back to L.A.. Fun drive and a quick one-I-20/U.S. 80 from Forney to the I-30, then the 75 and Woodall Rogers, then I-35E to 121 up to D/FW Airport.
That was an adventure. Love Dallas skyline day or night. I usually came at it from the south. It just pop up out of horizon quick and only gets better and better as you get inside the loop. That new Ms Hill bridge is a thing of beauty. Wish we were getting something like that down here in Corpus. All we have is a gap of a bridge that may or may not ever get finished. Its a disaster of plans for our newbie one. It will cost as much at that 5 Way in Big D when all is say and done. You video was fantastic. Thanks for sharing. If you want to do another loop I got a suggestion. We have a drive we do here for visitors. Start at Cole Park in Corpus and head east by the bay to Portland. Then to Ingelside..Aransas Pass..The ferry ride..Port Aransas..back to Corpus along the island heading south..right turn into Corpus and get off on Ennis Joplin Rd to Shoreline all the way back along the shoreline to Cole Park again. Many stops to see things or get a lunch or dip toes in Gulf of Mexico.
The very best view of the Dallas skyline is heading east on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Spectacular view, day or night! If you ever get up this way, also take a driving tour through Uptown, which adjoins downtown to the north. It is truly a fantastic area, full of new, high-end, upscale high rise buildings, shops, restaurants, etc. It's pretty impressive!
The big D. Easily one of the most recognizable skylines in the US, if not the whole world. Makes me wonder why I haven't been back to DFW in over 20 years.
You should plan a trip here and see it again, seriously. It has grown tremendously in the past 20 years, and all of the new high rise buildings are tastefully and beautifully designed, and there are a lot of them! In the next few years, at least four new high-rise "communities" are being built. Ground has already been broken on the Cityplace complex, and the midtown complex. Two others are also coming soon.
The High Five Interchange is believe dot be the world's tallest highwya interchange. US 75/Central Expwy is one of the best non interstate highways in America and there's more than that such as CA 91 from the Long Beach suburbs to Riverside, CA.
US 75 from 635 to downtown Dallas was a traffic nightmare because it used to be a four-lane highway until it was expanded in the 1990s which I remember.
Now it's also become yet another traffic nightmare, even with all the extra lanes. However, if you approach it with patience, and just enjoy the views, it's not that bad.
I'm from Dallas and I've never heard it called the West Dallas bridge, so that's interesting to know. Speaking of West Dallas, it won't be long until it's all been rebuilt into new stuff too, and also north Oak Cliff too!

Thank you as always Matt!
Interstate 635 used to end at I-35E until they expanded it from 35E to State Highway 121 in 1981 after the DFW Airport opened.
Awesome freeways tours
Thank you! 😊
@@InterstateKyle you're welcome
Hope you enjoyed checking out the interstate 635/ us highway 75's high five interchange

Thank you!

Love the nighttime tour of Dallas. I'm getting a little sad as soon we're be leaving the Lone Star State for Oklahoma.
We’ve got 5 more videos from texas before we leave the Lone Star State. :)
The Woodall Rodgers Freeway was a project that took forever to get started. It goes all the way back to the early 1960s when it was first designed.
You are very correct. One of the last freeways to be constructed in Dallas and probably one of the most controversial along with unsigned I-345.

I really hope you make it back out there someday. One of my favorite freeway cities in the U.S.

😮 Nobody from Dallas calls that the Margret hill hunt bridge…we it call it the West Dallas bridge so that was some new information for me 😂

@2:36 I can see why you got annoyed at that dumb driver.
👉✌️🇺🇦👍😁
Dumb car ahead of you stopping short 2.40 in
Very annoying and dangerous!
