What does everyone think of the addition of chapters from the last few videos? I thought this would be a great way to highlight various parts of the video and to make it easier to navigate to parts of the video you want to watch as well.
Good video as usual. And the end at the OKC memorial is a nice touch. Some of those freeways (I-240 and I-35) definitely have a 1950s' look-you mentioned a stretch of 35 was built in '53... Looking forward to the Great Plains!
To the east at :27 is the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds (though most of it you cannot see from this view). At :32 (right side) is the site of the former All Sports Stadium. Despite the name, it only played one sport (minor league baseball---longtime home of the Oklahoma City 89ers). at 4:00, is what locals call the "Dallas Junction". At 4:27 is the "Fort Smith" junction. On the left side at 6:55 is Frontier City amusement Park, these days owned by Six Flags. The second turnpike exit at 7:16 is the Kilpatrick Turnpike, the first "cashless" turnpike in Oklahoma, having gone that way in July 2021. From I-35, the Kilpatrick goes west to a point in far NW OKC, then juts south to eastern Yukon and fast-growing south Yukon/north Mustang before ending at a point in far SW OKC almost to Will Rogers World Airport. Hope this helps.
Great tour of OKC's freeways. BTW, former US 66 makes a northeastern turn here as it heads to St Louis & eventually Chicago. In the state of OK, it's still exists as state route 66 & is an alternative for those who don't want to use the tolled I-44. But now the season must go on as we head to Kansas.

It's awesome
As a long-time Oklahoma City resident, I think your videos are great! Thanks!

I do love checking out highways 🛣
Thanks for stopping by!
Great video, and also poignant with a focus on the memorial. Thank you, as always, for sharing photos of downtown!
Thank you Michael!
You showcased our state beautifully ☺️💕 at 7:00 you passed Frontier City 🎢🎡🎠
Thank you Christina!
Great tour.
It's so incredibly green unlike California.
OKC has an impressive skyline and memorials.
I like the amount of left-handed exits in OKC, while everyone else is building out of them.
My grandma told my family that see read saw what's left of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building during her lay over in OKC

"Ah, what a nice to drive without tornadoes"
It's weird to watch videos from my city that I lived in kast 19 years, although I can't enjoy seeing them in person no more due I am visual impaired.
Interstate 240 is being expanded via the Kirkpatrick and Kickapoo turnpikes, but the Kickapoo turnpike section should be called interstate 640.
The longest spur route potentially? That would be awesome.
fellow. you crreated super edition. see you later.✋
The city should of had kept the other I-40 highway by the arena
