Thank You Doctor for the education you give us n to be able to see how you remove the wax.
Recently I saw my audiologist. I am suffering from old age, in my left ear I have normal degrade of hearing, in my left ear I have several factors going on. But what I found most interesting, was I was able to see inside my ear. It was quite exciting for me because of your videos. My ear is normal. Thanks to your videos, the earwax that I saw, was in healthy range, conferred on my Audiologist. I now have a comparison when I watch your videos on what an ear should look like (within variable range). I enjoy your videos and learning, plus it gives me something to be grateful for, I do not have these conditions.
What is going on in my right ear is more complicated, You have spoken of some possibilities which you have said you referred to see a Specialist. This has given me reassurance, as well as concern, also learned from your videos and your commentaries. We will know more after my CAT scan. I would like to thank you for giving me a foundation on which to build wider understanding within the layman’s ability to understand without going to school to learn everything. I will continue to rely on the educated expert, hopefully, I will have enough knowledge to know what questions to ask.

I’m a registered hearing aid practitioner so I look in ears every day and unfortunately at my clinic we do not perform wax removal but I would give anything to get in there with a mini spoon and get it out for my patients! 😝 I just love watching these videos!
Oh man, the compulsion to clean it out would be so hard to resist 😂

I really like seeing the stuff out of the ear at the end! Really puts the whole video into perspective and I’d like to see more of that at the end of the videos :)
This is exactly what I came to say.
Me, too! I love the size perspective!
I know a lot of people have probably commented on this but for those that are being rude and disrespectful it just shows how much they don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve watched a number of your videos and they have been extremely satisfying and fun to watch. I’ve also learned a thing or two. Plus I believe you said one of the main reasons you make things is for educational purposes so screw the haters. Let them hate and you just keep making awesome content.

With new studies showing a correlation between impacted ears over time contributing to Dementia, your videos are so important. For elderly patients they may not even notice the gradual loss or be too afraid to bring it up. My cousin had this issue at 80 and he was a new man after they removed the impacted wax. Thank you for your videos, it gives family a tool to tract issues their parents may be having
Extremely satisfying to see that large blob finally let go so you could wrestle it out! You are so patient and determined! 😊

Amazing. I worked for ENT doctors for years and saw many cases such as this one. I can only imagine how grateful the patient must be.

I'm sorry that you've had to disable comments in your recent videos, but I understand why you've made that decision. I've watched many of your videos and you are so knowledgeable about your work and giving explanations to most of us non-medical people. You have an easy to listen to voice, you don't stumble and fumble for words. I'd never looked at this problem before I found your videos and have learnt a lot.

As so many others have commented, I'm truly sorry you had to turn off the comments. I also really enjoy your educational voice overs, moreso because there's not the usual "ummm", "ahhh", "like",or "bro" all of which are vocal cancer!
Anyway thanks so much for your wonderful videos.
Second time watching because I loved it so much. Watched it in FB now on RUclips. Fantastic removal of KO. Thank Neel. Xx
That was, quite possibly, the best removal I’ve ever seen!
So you û
Check out his video thats titled “10 years of wax buildup” or something like that. It’s AMAZING lol.
I really enjoy these videos because you explain scientifically what is going on. I never thought I would be "hooked" on watching ear cleaning! Thanks, Mr. Neel!!

Great job! It’s amazing how much wax can accumulate in the ear! He must feel so much better! 😊😊
The view is so good, even on video I feel like I’m right there beside you! The poor patient must have been in pain the debris looks so hard with sharp pieces. You did an amazing job removing!
Thanks so much for a great video!

Please do not let negative people and their comments affect you. They are unhappy people and want others to join them. I find your work relaxing and your voice soothing. I wish you were in the USA. My dr is still flushing with water and know there’s more out there than just that.
I never get bored with this keretosis obsturans. I cant count how many times I've watched it, it alway's leave's me awestruck how you manage to clear it. I take my hat of to you Mr Neel. ❤
It was like, I could feel the patients relief, this poor guy, I mean, good lord, that has to hurt so bad, I'm so glad you're taking care of him.
I’m so glad these video’s of Mr. Neel stay up with RUclips. We can go back and watch as much as you want. Great, great education! Thank you Mr. Neel.

🇨🇦 fantastic job! I bet this patient is going to feel soooo much better! Wonderful job.
I didn’t know there could be so much in an ear! I know that was a relief.
Amazing and challenging amounts of keratin and wax debris to remove. To make the task more difficult the debris was hard and fractured into pieces with hard edges. Of course you were able to remove it all because your skill level is phenomenal. Never any doubt you would prevail.
I’ve seen this multiple times. Awesome work & teaching. Descriptions are super too! Thanks, Mr Neel & patient!!
Mr. Neel, I am continually amazed at the depth of your knowledge and skill and the kindness you show to your patients and their families. I sincerely wish you were my audiologist here in Oregon, USA. Thank you for this video.
Hello Sir, from NY in US! I noticed on other videos the comments are turned off, so this is a blanket compliment across all your videos... I find your voice super relaxing. I came home after a day in the Emergency room with my dad (90 yso) and after getting him back home I came back to my place for tea and your videos! Super relaxing 😎 thank you! I'm able to de-stress! Who knew? Your videos would provide a form of ASMR! LOL

I've watched just about all of you videos and they've been captivating. However This is the first time one of videos triggered my gag reflex 🤣 I still enjoyed it!
I live in the US, and I really wish I could afford to see a specialist like you, Mr Neel. I’ve had my ears “lavaged” so many times over the years because I’d actually lose a lot of hearing. When I was younger, my parents were able to take me to an ear specialist who noted that I had small ear canals that had a structural twist and dip in the ear canal close to they ear drum. I’ve learned from your channel that ear lavage can make things worse. I did get proper hearing back, but I’ve had to have it so often to even get rid of muffled hearing. I really appreciate your videos and am trying to secure a referral to an otologist. I’ve even had problems with severe vertigo. My GP just says, literally, that “you have rocks in your ears,” and then sets me up for another ear lavage.

Contact your insurance provider and let them know you want to see an otologist, and that you feel your case is being shuffled off.
@@violet2048 Thanks! I actually never thought of that. I just assumed that I needed an official referral.
I have never seen anything quite like this. That poor gentleman. And I am so happy that he was able to remove whatever that was inside. Oh man that was impressive
Great work Mr Neel. It must have been a relief for the patient to get these plugs out. Thanks for the great videos!
his name is neels---the least u can do is spell it right'
It's Neel... So you didn't even type it right either. Neal is the original spelling so not everyone knows or remembers and auto correct does it too

Wonderful view using the wax endoscope. Wondering, did the patient have much sensitivity with regards to sound once you'd completely cleared them out. I'd imagine that their sensitivity to sound will take time to normalize.
I bet it felt good..
@@andiyancy7361 fr I need this done the last time I had it done when they were doing surgery on my ears 5 years ago
I’m picturing the scene from ‘Back To the Future’….the guitar and amp scene at the beginning when the alarm clocks go off.
I had a double ear infection a few years back. I ended up being referred to ENT because the wax and pus was so thick and impacted that the ear drops couldn’t get to the ear drum. It felt so good when the Otolaryngologist was vacuuming my ear canal that I apparently started moaning. He stopped mid procedure to ask me to quiet down as it was just he and I in the room and he was concerned that someone might think that something improper was happening. LOL. It felt great although it was a bit sensitive.
I know how it feels I go regularly and honestly when they first pull it out it's a slight pain but it goes away almost immediately
Loved that you used the hook much more interesting that watching the suction all the time. Thank you for showing this video.

Thank you for sharing your expertise. You and the gorgeous young man at Durham are my favourites. You both explain so much that even a dumbo like me can understand. When I get things right seconds before you tell us I feel like I’ve won mastermind. Yeah.

Thank you Dr. Neal . Your narrative and description very clear.
I am just amazed at all these videos! A few years back I took my dad to have his ears flushed, he was able to her alot better, the doctor tried to convince him to get a hearing aid. Fortunately I cancelled the hearing aid that would have cost him $4000.00 !
You did a wonderful procedure on your pt. I know their hearing has tremendously improved and it's probably going to take time for them to get use to it. Your voice is so calming, I kept trying to dose off watching the video.
I am happy each patient feels such relief once the wax and/or infection is removed from their ears. ❤

This was a very good video. Thank you for your time to explain to and showing us this procedure. Your procedures are always very educational and fascinating. Thank you
Dr. Zhao of China used to label these type of hard wax as beef jerky. He had to always remove them using the famous hook. Tough job.
That is CRAZY!!!! What a relief for the patient!!!! Great Job 👏👏👏💙!!! Western Upstate NY here ❤
Getting that cleared out must be one of the best feelings.
It is! One of my ears was blocked from eardrum to outer ear, couldn't hear, and it was quite painful.I went to urgent care, they couldn't budge it,I used drops over the weekend, still stuck, trip to the doctor's office and FINALLY it came out.Immediate restoration of hearing and relief of pain when that huge thing came away.Surprised it didn't make a noise like a cork!
After that removal he would be able to hear a butterfly wings fluttering by. Great job sir !
Keratosis Obstran is fascinating in what it can do to an ear. Unreal.
Amazing how hard the bone is that KO changes,
but ALSO how much pain people can tolerate if it increases very slowly!!!
Omg a huge amount of wax, you’re very patient. Great video
Wow. That’s a lot of keratin in that ear canal. I’m sure your patient was so relieved.
Great job!! I’m sure this patient was very glad that he made that appointment!! Video is great! I always learn a lot when I watch you! Thanks from the States! 💗💗💗
Brilliant! Love your explanations of the endoscope vs the other camera. Thanks for all your videos!
Even though I live in the USA I would want to travel to the UK to have this kind of work done if I needed it. I’m so very impressed with Mr Neel’s work.

This is so satisfying to watch! That person has got to feel so much relief!
That poor person - so much in those ears- again you’re done a good job cleaning Neel.. thanks for sharing the video
Wow! Difficult removals! Super work & explanations! Thank you, Mr Neel and lovely patient!
Holy crap! The total amount of wax you took out was amazing!! I can't believe that much can even fit in your ear canal.
Me neither! Amazing!
Your videos are so educational. My Brother was almost completely deaf due to a very high fever as an infant. I have always been interested in the way the workings of the nerves and structure of the ear work together. I wish I had, had access to videos and this kind of information when I was younger. I would of known what I wanted to do. Keep making these fascinating videos.
I have. never been more anxious in any other surgeries that I watch
.it realy requires great concentration and skill.bravo Doc.
Since comments are off, and i understand the reason why, I’m commenting on your “James Webb” video where we can see the inner ear!! Fabulous!
This was an awesome video!! Mr.Neels skills and patience are top notch.
i’m proud of my knowledge of anatomy lol. when you said the temporal bone was the strongest i thought “hmm i thought it was the femur”, then he said it lol 😆 i know our glute muscle (our bum) is the largest muscle but i think the strongest muscle is our tongue. i could be wrong, i’m not a doctor
i really feel for people with these chronic ear problems. has to be SO PAINFUL 😓 i love how Mr. Neel is so gentle & compassionate, always thinking of his patients 😊❤️
So I believe the masseter muscle which is a muscle of mastication is our strongest muscle.
that was alot in there Neel very good job done by you and great views from the video

That had to be such a relief to have that removed.
I’m from America and my ENT uses irrigation and irrigation makes me extremely dizzy. We sure could use the famous ‘Wax Whisperer’ here in America!!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟
The temperature of the water is off then. Shooting water thats warmer or colder into the ear can cause extreme vertigo.
Great job, I'm glad you helped that person. Much love from the USA.
I know it sounds funny, but these kinds of programmes, make going to the Dr. Much easier, for people like me. To get things sorted, and fix things.
As bad as I feel for these patients, again I love watching "skin peels" but also when the contents are to the opening of the ear canal.😍❤
I love seeing the huge pieces come out in one huge "chunk" piece.
Thank you Mr. Niel for showing/explaining these procedures to us.
Great job again my friend. 🤔👍🏻💝

What an ordeal. Those sodium bicarb drops really did the trick. Beautiful work. Thanks.
Good job. I had a bad ear ache and had to go to the doctor. I couldn't hear either. The wax had become so hard, the doctor had to break it up. He said it was like a rock. Took him 3 hours to clear one ear out.
Great job! Loved the video! Thanks for sharing this!
Yes, Really Enjoyed it, Glad the Client got Relief from the pain and blockage, Great, Thank You Neel!
Hi Mr Whisperer
Since the ear canal was widened, did it or does it retract after removing the wax?
Keratosis obturans makes the canal permanently widened. Also the natural motion of the skin & wax migrating out is permanently interrupted so they have to get regular cleanings to remove it when that happens.
@@candismalli thank you so much 🤗

I feel like I always learn something while watching your videos.
My boyfriend is currently suffering from severe ear pain, he's had his ears looked at and no infection but they said he has a massive imbedded plug of ear was right inside his ear, they don't offer removal apparently on nhs, but told him to use eardrops 5 times a day for 2 weeks to soften it. We are using bicarb drops as atm they have proven better removal.

That’s strange why don’t they offer the removal of the wax?
