    If we are ashamed to proclaim his name, how can we say we want to go to heaven? That would mean spending eternity in the presence of someone we are ashamed of.

      Actually, God's Word is very clear on that matter. In Matthew 10:33 Jesus said, "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven." This leads one to believe they won't be spending an eternity in the presence of someone they are ashamed of.

      @The Hyperbole If you think homophobia doesn't exist in the US/Canada, you're *very* wrong. On the Republican party's platform, it's stated that they hope to get rid of gay marriage and abortion. 47.7% people voted for Trump in this election - for the Republican party. Now before you say "but that doesn't make them homophobic!", actually they're complicit with the parties demands and voting for them is giving them permission to do whatever is on their platform. What's confusing about this? I don't care what your religious beliefs are but don't bring them into politics. Separation of church and state, yeah?

    if the value was different by 1 part in 10^123 in either direction, our universe would not exist.

    • @nealm6764
      @nealm6764 3 года назад +121

      I will give it a try, having listened to J Peterson on the topic. TO crudely summarize - The left serves a very legitimate function within societies. They look out for and speak to power about the downtrodden, the forgotten, the poor etc. that is their basic function. The right looks out for the successful and the left looks out for those left out etc. Because societies form hierarchies and hierarchies become corrupt and leave people out at the bottom. The left and right are supposed to form a balance struggle that keeps everything from collapsing.
      But our left doesn't do that. They now only represent a thin band of identity politic classes.
      They actually kick large portions of the forgotten and voiceless while they are down. They don't care about the rust belt or bible belt falling behind economically and really suffering after Clinton and Biden outsourced their jobs and factories, mills etc to China. They sneer at them and call the deplorables, clinging to their bibles and guns etc.
      That is what Mathew is talking about, that the left hates and dismisses 50% of the people that they should be showing compassion towards.
      I hope that helps.

    Mathew is not a christian. You don't get in the "club" by accident. And he is fully complicit in the debauchery and deeper rings. Many "famous" people are claiming they are something for the sole purpose of taking as many away from the fold as possible. The interesting part of this equation is: If you indeed were filled with the Holy Spirit, you'd never listen to liars in the first place. Acts 7:11. Search the scriptures daily to see if a thing is true. You can't be a "christian" one day a week, and the other 6 a heathen.
