I hope you take this as a Compliment and certainly not negatively, What this looks much MUCH Better than store bought for pennies on the dollar! Besides the trouble that the ladder was giving you,lol, In your opinion, What was the hardest part? I am guessing the soldering Was the most difficult? I have an electronics background, But that looked a little bit intimidating from the camera angle. What was the hardest part for you, Or have you made so many of these they are no longer an issue? 9 Absolutely.Amazing.Iyeah which I will be stealing from you😅
The rated voltage for the LED is 3 volts. So the best approach would be a voltage divider which is where you have two resistors in series and the power for the LED comes from the junction between the two resistors. You can find a diagram for this on pretty much any electronics circuit web site. Doing a bit of math it looks to me like you would need a 1k ohm resistor and a 330 ohm resistor, both being rated for 0.25 watts. Cheers.
