The 996 Turbo was my dream car back in 2001, i was a teenager playing Need for speed Porsche 2000. 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds and 310 km/h. The best sports car in the world to me at the time.
It was a grest time
Just finished racing mine at SCCA Time Trial Nationals. With a tune it's scary fast. Pulled in about 100 feet on a C5 Z06 in a matter of less than a quarter mile.
@@silverbullitt850 It’s unreal how reliable Porsche’s are too. Not many cars can take a beating on a race track for a whole weekend and when you’re done you can drive home. JDM fanboys will never understand that.

The driver in the GTR lacked confidence in his driving. He’s always over correcting the car over the slightest slides and didn’t give enough opportunity for the awd to work it’s magic. If you’re delaying throttle when there’s a slide then what’s the point of awd. The beauty of ATTESA ETS is the torque distribution under throttle application so that slides are immediately recovered with a strong forward thrust

この時代、ポルシェターボが1600万円で買えたんだよね。今や素のカレラが1600万だもんね。
私は当時FD5型を新車で買って、250万円くらいかけてチューニングしたけど、総額およそ600万でポルシェターボと遜色ない車に仕上げられた。レースで対決したことはないけどね😅
370万円、280馬力のFDに足回りやボディ補強、吸排気、冷却チューン、フルコン、ホイール、タイヤ、エアロなど色々変えたなぁ・・・最終的に390馬力、通勤仕様、ほぼ他に無い自分だけのセブンに仕上げた。楽しかったなぁ・・・
360だけ音が別次元。
280馬力規制が撤廃される4年前か。

That Evo really held on against the Giants. I am impressed. This is how versatile the Evo was, A rally car that was also good on the track.
Mitsubishi motors needs to do better, they are making terrible decisions, like dropping the lancer and Evo. Their designs have gotten crazy over the years , and they keep making poor marketing decisions. Their major downfall is not listening to their customers.
Instead of giving their customers an eclipse they got the eclipse cross. Didn't even get a new lancer for more than 10 years.
If you cant design the look of your car properly, atleast do like the Koreans and hire Germans to design look of the cars for you. Like with Kia and Hyundai and keep the mechanics as Japanese.
Mitsubishi did well to drop the evo! No one, and i mean NO ONE bought one when they were new. Customers want an Eclipse cross, they are already selling better than the original Eclipse ever did!

Never was fast stock when compared to a NSX or Evo V/VI.
Nsx is the Japan Ferrari. It's not made to compete Skyline. But Skyline driver here don't even try to push it.

GT-R is fast car, but its driver is so stupud 😡
I was surprised it was passed by all those cars.
The problem is that the gtr has 340hp...but on more than 1500kg. Nsx and rx-7 have similar hp(maybe a little closer to 280 and 300hp) but a lot better handling due to lower weight, better frames and rwd. Yes, skyline has the 4wd attesa ets system but we all know that the real advantage of the r34 is the RB26DETT which you can easily tune up to 1000hp.
