@@vegasranger Sweet, I just ordered one. I've been eyeballing the Sylvan Arms Gen 3 but the cheapest one is $130 on PSA (for a small aluminum hinge 🙄). All the aftermarket ones were removed from the Chinese shopping sites. Found them when I checked Gunbroker.

I got the BAOLYDA adapter. The button/ latch seems like it might need to be made of a better material. The buffer action seems to loosen up the latch. I looked up to see if that part can be replaced, no luck yet.
I bought this product. Comes shipped directly from China. Which I don't really care. Took a month to get it in. Not too bad I guess. But the product itself is crap. Spent 2 hours with a drill and wire brush to take off the coating on the threads to get the buffer tube to thread in. Finally got it to fit. Seemed to work good opening and closing slowly. Tried opening fast and it bent. Bent it back. And it works.... So I would not recommend this one. Better off spending the money in the real thing. Not a cheap copy. Note to everyone. Did research on website.. it’s not reliable, you may receive your package you may not. It seems to be a dropshipping site someone created where you purchase a product, then they order the product you want from a cheaper website, and send it to you.
Length of pull doesn't matter on the AR platform when determining whether it constitutes a pistol or SBR. What does matter? The area where the brace/stock makes contact with the shoulder as well as whether those contact points are a solid material. It's unclear, like everything the ATF does, exactly at which point this pile of sand becomes a heap of your dogs in your living room.
Incorrect. LOP does matter. It has to be under 13.5inches at its longest position from trigger to end of brace. This adapter will put that over the limit and it now becomes an SBR. This is a very well known issue to the point that SB tactical now sells a 9 dollar "LOPL. Length of pull limiter that plugs the last one or two positions on the brace you have to keep it under the 13.5 limit to still be considered a pistol.
If I'm not mistaken, these are the only two items you'll need to get the law tactical folding stock to work, let's say, on something like a FX-9 but other pistol 9mm "AR" style guns may need different parts for the buffer tube to function properly and "marry" (fit) properly to the law tactical folding adapter. Want to tell us how it held up I had one I think it was like $40 I did change out the buffer retaining pen that came with it and used the one from law tactical I think it was like eight bucks but I ran close to 2000 rounds on that gun before the ring that holds the buffer tube started cracking

I don't see the big deal. Half the fighting people on this planet are running around with reliable weapons with far more questionable modifications and fixes. Aluminum manufacture is a very delicate process. The "v3 version" they're selling of this is some factory making a knock off of their knock off. The difference is easy to distinguish. You're right though, if the round isn't moving quickly enough it doesn't do the damage it was engineered to do. Were can i find that upper?
I love the handguard. Who makes it and where can I buy it? I'm building a 5 inch 300 and going with the folding stock . It's a perfect backpack SHTF gun. What is the part you were talking about to get the barrel to fold?
It’s made by Hardened arms, they went out of business. To find the part to remove the barrel, just search DOS ar15 barrel.
I have to manually lock that POS?!
How long is it folded?
Did this require any modifications to make it fit and function properly? Or you just installed as is and it worked?
I just installed it and it worked, however the pin holding the buffer seems flimsy. I will probably be replacing it soon.
@@JLV86 have you searched the product recently? They're going for 80 bucks now. Is that the same one you got? I just wanna make sure I'm getting the right one
Awesome my bro 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I want this entire set up👌
I have no idea what web site you said bro. Something to quest?
Same rewinded it it like 8 times n can't find it
@@BigBoss-rf1xu me either
It was “travel to quest”, looks like the site no longer exists
Trevol to quest???
traveltoquest. I had a hard time understanding as well.
if it breaks no harm no foul? u just said its ur truck gun so if it fails it can get u killed.that aluminum piece of junk wont last for shit,my friend bought that knock off and it broke the 5th time out using it.they are expensive for a reason, not only are they made out of forged steel which is more costly to machine cause its harder it is engineered to very precise tolerances and its on the 4th version which is so good the military gave it 2 nsn numbers and its used by socom and jsoc so that should tell u the quality right there.if its a range toy then i agree with u but dont put shit on a gun that u are betting ur life on.
Bahahaha! Still not fuggin' illegal! FTATF!
you could just pull out your pistol and don't put anything together?😂
its 30 USD on amazon
bass ass cheers 🍻 brother
I guess the logic makes sense, but that thing is junk. Cheaper isn’t always better.
Hey man how “legal” is that folding brace? I want to have the same set-up that you have, but I’ve been hearing a lot of mixed messages regarding its legality
Totally legal for now. ATF trying to change rules effective in August. It's just a folding buffer tube adapter.
If your length of pull exceeds 13.5in with the brace extended, it might be frowned upon by alpha bet.
Illegal as of the latest rulling 2023 on braces
Nice review Cuzzin. I just ordered mine and decided to watch a review on it then what do you know. Hey I know that guy! lol
Haha, what up Cuz.
Good Stuff cuz. Keep em coming. Hopefully I can install it myself when it comes it lol. Looks easy but with my luck BAM spring goes flying never to be seen again 😂
@@joshuavillalobos8218 lol, Mine didn’t come with instructions, but if you need help tell my sister to give you my number.
Big 10-4 sounds Good!!
What upper is that is it piston driven?
But once ..cry once!
I just do not know how this guy is advertising some folding stuff like this other than original, I used to have the privilage to use some copy of the original and would not recommend it, that's it. That's just crap.
Anybody heard of the Titan Tactical folding stock adapter? It's $100 but I can't seem to find any reviews on it.
Don’t waste your money. I put my order in on April 17, 2021, they took my money and here are May 14, 2021 and I haven’t heard from them, I can’t get a status on my order and they don’t respond to my emails. There is no number to call on the website
@@unmalo2768 ok then. Thanks for the warning. I will avoid them.
@@unmalo2768 talk to your bank. I just went through the same thing and finally called my bank after over a month. Their email was disabled as well when I complained a second time
Hey, go ahead and put "stock" in the title. good plan. so the gun grabbers can talk about it.
If you guys want to run some Chinese crap on your AR feel free. For my money I’m going to buy American and actually get a good product. I don’t see why you feel the need to save 100 bucks and get an inferior product. Just my personal opinion I guess.
thats not a personal opinion if it is you will keep to your self now thats my personal feelings
How is that folder holding up?
This is the 15th time I’ve seen this question asked and everyone has gone unanswered…. it’s been two years, that’s enough time to make a follow up video
