This method worked for my board. Its a Gigabyte- A320M-S2H Ver. 1.0. Only thing different is yiu can boot to bios using the app center that should have been installed with mother board disc. You click app center, then fast boot then close on dialog box. On this board you have to disable the csm first or you can't find secure boot path. Its there though. While still in windows. When you open the windows programs you scroll all the way past all the other windows files and click the windows system file. Then you'll see command prompt. Right click it then run as administrator. When the screen opens you type the 2 commands he has here. Type command. Doesnt matter if letters are all small face type. After each command hit enter key. Both end with error messages but reboot to bios. Follow the video for other directions. Enable ftpm before anything else. You have to download windows 11 installation media. To install. Update doesn't do it. Yet. And Thank you for this video. Only one that worked. I appreciate it.

Did you ensure your BIOS supports UEFI? If it doesn't then it is possible to reverse the process. All you have to do is put your computer's SSD/HDD into another machine that can boot UEFI, then convert it back to Legacy and put the drive back in the computer.
@@DikshaSingh-vb2vb Secure boot isn't necessary, I'd rather have it off than have a BIOS password. It could be that your laptop has got legacy enabled as if no UEFI drives are detected. Disable all legacy support and it should come back. What laptop are you running?

That depends on your system. Business laptops usually do have them. This laptop does not. If you have a TPM then the option will be somewhere in the BIOS. Hope that helps.
My old DV6-7000 does not have UEFI support, however it came with Windows 7. If your PC came with Windows 8 it's very likely that you do have UEFI support.

really just depends, you do need to check if you can switch to UEFI. Otherwise your system will remain unbootable if you do this anyways.
I'm pretty sure that machines that new can't boot legacy anyway. The last time you could buy a Legacy machine was 7th Gen Intel, about 4 years ago.
Can this work on windows 11?
my secured boot is grayed out.. If i turned off legcy support its still grayed out..how to fix this
