Don't do this if u have no idea what exactly you are doing.
U need to change boot option to UEFI from legacy in Bios boot menu.
Otherwise it should be in UEFI/Legacy mode.

I'm super excited, but I'm going to type this out calmly; you are the literal best, words cannot explain how f'n brilliant you are. I was trying to get UEFI to work, but it wouldn't let me boot into windows and therefore I couldn't enable secure boot either.. I was trying to get everything to work, for hours, read something about GPT and I RUclips's how to switch over and I watched one video where the guy was saying, you'll have to back everything up to a different drive, which I don't have.. and when I was about to give up I found this video.. now my PC is fully compatible with Win11. @@technicaljunaid01 saved me from hours of unnecessary work and money to get Win11, when it was all restarting I thought it would just break and I was pleasantly surprised to see it boot up, I went into the BIOS did the whole secure boot setup thing again, and I was super shocked it worked. @ahamedijas3555 update your bios to the latest update. Also check if your motherboard supports uefi or not

I am using gigabye b85m-d3 v-a motherboard with Intel i3 processor. When I checked the bios,there is an option for boot named legacy and uefi. I am having a doubt when I convert the file system whether it will support or not.If not can I roll back without losing the data

I had already enabled ueif and secure boot in my system bios but it wouldn't say it was changed from legacy until after I did these steps.
It was a weird situation with the whole telegram business but I'm not really complaining. Thank you!

Some of you have used this method with the most recent version of windows 10 on the motherboard b450 d3sh since this card has in the bios the option to activate the secure boot but it does not allow and cancel the startup of windows and stop a nvme run

When I did all the steps and executed the program it went all correct but now it is asking.
Reboot and select proper Boot Device or Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

Apart from these steps don't we have to go in bios and change settings from there from legacy to UEFI and Enable Secure boot? Will they be automatically set up just by following your steps?

When I tried to change it with the application which is mentioned in the video.. it says something like ( Your partition environment does not support conversation.... ) So I saw a comment down from @ZenX Op that he got the same message and the youtuber replied that his/her pc motherboard does not support VT

Does it just change the hard disk to have a uefi boot (GPT) or does it also install uefi firmware so it can boot from it if your computer only can do BIOS boot?

For Those, this Didn't Work Out
After Rebooting and Converting Your Storage to GPT , The Program will Automatically Reboot the System Once again
After That you have to Enter Bios Mode in That Reboot Screen By the Bios key of your PC. Then Search for Legacy and Manually change it to UEFI and Reboot again, it Will Work .

@@rohitRraina there are two options. if you are selecting partition and right click, convert to GPT will not come. Select the whole drive (e.g, C:) and then right click.

Actually works. i had MSI motherboard and it was on Legacy. Please not do not change the motherboard from legacy/Unfi to just Unfi it made my computer restart and shit down many times . Kinda pissed me off. Just use these steps 100% works
Last time I changed my bios settings from legacy to bios it asked me to reinstall but I didn't want to because I had too much data so I had to change it back to legacy. Now, finally I found this video. I hope it doesn't ask me to reinstall windows....

@@xBR6A Nah I had some problem because my system file partition was corrupted. Will work if your windows directory is not corrupted. The app couldn't convert because because mine was corrupted. I had to insert an installation media then change the setting in bios to UEFI and then clean the whole disk. You don't have to format your HDD OR SSD if your windows is not corrupted. Mine was corrupted because I tried dualbooting windows 10 and windows 10. Lol I was thinking I could use one for gaming and the other for normal browsing. That corrupted my original windows.

I tried this but I got a message that my partition do not allow the conversion, I installed Ubuntu in a separate hhd doing dual boot but I am having issues with the grub menu and I think is because windows was legacy before installing Ubuntu

I did right click my disk but there's no GPT option but the basic show MBR , any other way to convert the disk to gpt?

I installed 4Gb x 2 ram sticks in my laptop with DDR3 1066MHZ BUT it running so slow. I tried to use one the speed want back to normal. I wish to use 8GB but it is clear my PC was too slow to work with and moreover the CPU usage was 100 % all the time.

I've got a question, i've been looking for that solution for quite a long time. I understand that the software does everything after the reboot. Where does the EFI partition go? I already have a 500 Mb of a MBR partition right now. If i Delete the partition as unallocated, will the easeus grab that partition and throw the EFI and microsoft folders in it? Or does it create an new shrinked partition from C drive (Which would be in the right of my C drive in drive managment) Thanks for the helpful video.
