@@CrystalPapa ah yeah, I run red mage on Celes. My battles are pretty short as I run Celes with two DPS/carries. If she doesn't take a initial few hits then I'm finished, usually undefeated general's pride is enough
Water is one of those elements that I'll always attack in GB's, except for if I see a Perrene in the leader spot. Kinda wish that I pulled on her banner to make my water team a little more viable, but that's ok. Who's got time for Arena and GB's when you spend most of your day standing in the middle of busy streets during rush hour traffic, screaming at cars as they drive past?

Water needs Job VCs, Espers, Magic VCs, A top support, limited cost units, units that can break a freaken barrier... Water needs Jesus at this point. Gumi is scum.
Imo, IA should ignore too status as " Sleep, Freeze, charm " and buff emself instead, if another active enemy is far of move + atk skill. I mean, we invest in status ailmnt just to cut out with a random dmg that not gonna even kill the enemy? Recently they fixed Charm status ( now we go forward the enemy under range., but if we dont have enemy in range atk, they go for the charmed one. it scks
For this map I put blood sword on her so she can absorb some hp with every single hit despite of her 2nd buff, and you could trade Aerith with another DPS unit. My thing is Celes is not worthy of haste and quicken, quicker movement means quicker depletion of her buffs, making her less tanky. Elf's Cloak I feel like you dont necessarily have to put it on unless facing pierce units, plus def bonus decreases paired with Survival Vest.

you should leave Sleep on Celes. When her accuracy is too low, she can still land a sleep

Well there is the Amnelis (although I don't have her myself... Yet), but yeah that's about it 😅.
Mono Water still needs more, though. A lot more 😵.
Ildyra is a pretty good healer that pairs with Celes very well. Sure, Aerith Has Reraise and Quicken, but Ildyra has a equally useful kit.
