Wolf's wife have done most of the lyrics of 80s Accept albums. Clever woman. I enjoy both versions of Accept, with Udo and later Accept with Mark. New Too Mean To Die is a good album again.
But actual "Accept" isn't Accept anymore. Too many band members have changed, Peter has gone, Stefan Schwarzmann and Hermann Frank were perfect for it, but Wolf Hoffmann made all of them go away and replaced every position in the band with nearly unknown musicians, who never had a relationship to the Accept-Family. And Wolf or maybe his wife stole the name from Udo, who founded the band. All of that makes the musicians all around Wolf Hoffmann no longer Accept, it's just a former Accept-member with some payed musicians. But it's not Accept.

It's a shame that 2 legends can't make peace. As you get older, you let go of the past. This shows a huge level if maturity(no disrespect to either of these two mythic level stars!). Only if the misdeeds done on either side were at a point that even God, Allah or whatever had to judge the situation would you hold the disrespect, hurt, insult, pain or whatever to the point that you say, "You know what? I'm done. We don't need ever to speak or acknowledge each other ever again in life." Then you walk away and move on with life.

Agree it's sad. I've been a fan since I was 14 and now I'm 54. I can't imagine my musical life without Accept. No one could have replaced them. They should stop being grumpy old men.

Sad. Recently Aria played with almost all past members. There were 3 vocalists, one of them used keyboards. There were 4 guitarists. It's great. And these guys are so angry at each other that such a thing will never happen
Very unfortunate but anyone who has been in a band understands that you sometimes have relationships that go sour. I get it because they made awesome music, but many people have bad shit deep down inside and the public never sees it.

Its what happens when 5 guys work together for years. There is an old saying, "Familiarity breeds contempt." All I know is that I would never ever screw someone over for money or for some other type of personal gain. Thats just me, but its sad because Accept is such an awesome band after all these years...
That's OK, Udo also swore that after the Dirkschneider "Back to the Roots" tour, that he'd never sing Accept songs again. Kind if like my KISS 1999 farewell tour shirt, and the Scorpions' last tour a few years back.
Basically, most bands lie, I've come to expect it, now... especially when it comes to reunions, farewells, etc... Especially in the case of farewells, it's just a cahsgrab/nostalgia factor excuse, anymore.

Either can independent/solo artist, and-or accept together. Accept together they were stellar. Sound quality, highly resolution separation clarity that really stood apart from many. Udo very similar to halford, lyrics up-held within consistency. Also non-chalant deliverance, only udo can fulfill. Very creative group that made there mark within legacy status. There not within gimmick catagory, one hit wonders, they are one of a kind in there own path.
Debut week sales in USA: Accept - Too Mean To Die (2021): 4825; U.D.O. - Game Over (2021): 925; Udo Dirkschneider - My Way (2022): 800. 5-6 times, huge difference. Udo have much LOWER status than Accept today.

Newer Accept sucks. I tried multiple times and can't get into it. U.D.O. on the other hand never released a bad album. They're easily one of my top 5 fav metal bands.
To me Udo and Wolf were equally important to Accept and I’m a big fan of the 80’s material I grew up on it . I can respect what Accept does now but I don’t listen to it and I’m not into it . When I think Accept it includes both Udo and Wolf that’s just me !
Wolf is like Rudolf Schenker. The two take no prisoners. Both are money-hungry and take advantage of all their competitors. The name Accept comes from Udo and Wolf excluded Udo for the first time and signed away the rights to the name. I will probably never use Accept again. Peter, Stefan and Udo are great buddies. I hope I can visit her again soon
I'm not gonna lie Mark Tornillo is really great. Blood Of The Nations was awesome. Didn't much care for Stalingrad and haven't got to the last 2 yet but I like him in the band. I think of Accept like Sabbath with different eras that were all amazing... Barring Born Again (I'm sorry but Ian just doesn't fit with them, he shoulda just stayed with Purple or his own thing) butt anyway, I got off track there. U.D.O. is so much better than Accept of either era
it's a shame that these two cannot reconcile their friendships to the name of the band somebody got the name for greed for money and gain the other one got it for just to build upon the foundation for the future of the band but then again marriages/ friendships don't last but if you have one friend on your finger says enough right there maybe hopefully these two will be able to put the past behind them and so you know what we're not getting any younger let's bury the hatchet and get back together but as udo would say you never know but as of today we're all not getting any younger getting older great to see these guys get together but I highly doubt that will ever take place
Marc Tornillo is a great singer and is a fan of Udo's. The fact that he didn't speak to Udo in the hotel is more business than personal. The business side of the music industry is very ugly at times.

I don’t know the members personally, it may not cover 100% of the reality but I’ve heard from two people who are musicians (not in Accept or UDO) and have come into personal contact with Udo during tours that he isn’t a friendly person. They mentioned as an example that on tour bus he didn't like to communicate with anybody even his own band.
For me, the band is always the singer. I totally lost interest in accept after UDO left. I am going to try and make the Reading PA show and do a meet and greet. not sure how they work but I am intent on getting a picture with UDO, it will be awesome to have that!
By the way, do you think that Wolf didn't know that his girlfriend/wife stole the name of the band? I am sure that he knew it! It went something like this. Wolf told his wife that, 'I am writing all these songs/lyrics and Udo is just singing'. She said, 'Yes, you are right. Let's change the ownership of the band, dear'. 'Now, Accept is yours'.

He has a lot of that Sebastian Bach syndrome going on in the way he's bitter about writing credits but he didn't write most this stuff Wolf's wife and manager did. I love Udo's solo music but miss him with Accept because his vox AND Wolf's riffs are what made Accept great. He also should have had better business sense regarding name ownership. They both seem like decent guys otherwise too bad, the fans are the losers.
and he's doing fine without them UDO is 1000 times better that Accept ever was though I really do enjoy them with Mark. I own the Blood Of The Nations album which was kick-ass

Hoffman composed decent songs since Udo's departure, but nothing unforgettable, his inspiration had ran dry. I don't like Tornillo because he's mimicking Udo, I find it boring.

How you gonna feel? His colleague went along with it too, and was ok with to it? Nah something stinks real bad. He was right to go, even if it was his own band. He was stabbed in the back, and there was no way he could stay under that. It would be burning and eating away at him. It would be like Cynthia walking in on John Lennon and Yoko having sex in her own house. You wouldn’t want to see their faces after that, no way. I don’t blame him, and he did the right thing.
Every time I go to an Udo show, there's always that gynormous sign out front of the venue that reads, artist request no Moshing allowed, & no cellphone pix & vids to be taken, & the security at Slim's always totally sucked every time he plays, but every time I've seen Accept perform was always a good show! ⸸⁶⁶⁶⛧🤘

He has a lot of that Sebastian Bach syndrome going on in the way he's bitter about writing credits but he didn't write most this stuff Wolf's wife and manager did. I love Udo's solo music but miss him with Accept because his vox AND Wolf's riffs are what made Accept great. He also should have had better business sense regarding name ownership. They both seem like decent guys otherwise too bad, the fans are the losers.

and he's doing fine without them UDO is 1000 times better that Accept ever was though I really do enjoy them with Mark. I own the Blood Of The Nations album which was kick-ass

Accept is not even Accept anymore. Only 1 original member left. Too me when that happens, bands are not the same at that point.

Debut week sales in USA: Accept - Too Mean To Die (2021): 4825; U.D.O. - Game Over (2021): 925; Udo Dirkschneider - My Way (2022): 800. 5-6 times, huge difference. Udo have much LOWER status than Accept today.
Only due to the use of the "Accept" name. That's it !

Hoffman composed decent songs since Udo's departure, but nothing unforgettable, his inspiration had ran dry. I don't like Tornillo because he's mimicking Udo, I find it boring.

It’s not as simple as that. This was Udo’s band plain and simple. This was from his heart and his childhood dream. Then someone steals it behind your back, and now it belongs to them???? WTH???
How you gonna feel? His colleague went along with it too, and was ok with to it? Nah something stinks real bad. He was right to go, even if it was his own band. He was stabbed in the back, and there was no way he could stay under that. It would be burning and eating away at him. It would be like Cynthia walking in on John Lennon and Yoko having sex in her own house. You wouldn’t want to see their faces after that, no way.
I don’t blame him, and he did the right thing.

Every time I go to an Udo show, there's always that gynormous sign out front of the venue that reads, artist request no Moshing allowed, & no cellphone pix & vids to be taken, & the security at Slim's always totally sucked every time he plays, but every time I've seen Accept perform was always a good show! ⸸⁶⁶⁶⛧🤘

My last show at Slims was over 4 years ago..the city has gotten so bad now.
