Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting music programs for children around the world. ALOHA!! Wow.... SO thrilled to hear this song done by one of my favorite musicians in Hawaii. Looks like this was filmed in Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. I used to live just down the road! I lived in Hawaii for more than 13 years, just moved to Costa Rica a couple years ago, and John Cruz was always a special highlight when I could go see him play. He has a HUGE HEART OF GOLD, which you can hear the passion in his voice! I am so happy to see John Cruz as part of Playing for Change. And I hope to meet him again soon! I went to each and every of John´s concerts while on Maui from 2006 to 2010 and am a fan ever since. My favorite album still is Acoustic Soul and it has Sitting in Limbo on it. It was great to hear him perform it again. Shine on, John!

Peter Kruse that’s cool. I was listening to “island music” on a satellite music channel and I loved the heck out of Island style. I only knew of the live version. Learned it by heart and way later found out why the live version sounds like Jackson Brown and Jack Johnson😂 I love this guy.!
