Man thank God you made this video. I installed this exact light I purchased off Amazon for $58. Same to a tee. Came straight from India. I had the yellow to yellow and the white to black. Needless to say I had an amber light only. Now that I disconnected it as correctly matched the white wire to the yellow it worked absolutely perfect. Thanks again! Thanks. I was struggling how to make the halo light work. Some KOLs cut the bike wire or the headlight wire in order to connect them. I was hesitating to do that. Luckily found your video. It's so helpful. Thanks again
AWESOME. been looking for a tutorial on how the hell to connect the DRL connector into this bikes power source. never thought to actually disconnect the proprietary plastic connector to expose the spade connectors.
@@losttogether4ever Nevermind it looks like my wiring is different from yours. On my gt650, the DRL connector has the same red plug, but it doesn’t separate into 2 spade connectors like yours. Odd. EDIT: looks like i'll just cut the wire and add my own spade connectors!
Hi, just watching your video again having bought the same one, tho mine came with the black rim, but on the spring clips point on the outer edge of the led light are three raised hollow boxes, which is were you are supposed to put the springs, as opposed to flat on the lower rim, that's probably why you found them a bit slack and had to use the leather strips 😊

That is weird? I wonder if maybe they changed the wiring or design between mine and yours? Your's also has the raised ridges making installation easier.
I would say no because you aren't changing anything relating to the engine or wiring. However, it would be best to check with your dealer to make sure.
Nice video. Would be nice if you add a night time footage. No need to be on the road. Just light it up infront of the garage in the night. Also - personal preference - i like the old logo better. Cant put my finger on it but the new logo lacks something.
I've seen those but before ordering I would contact the seller and make sure the headlight is actually mounted in the ring. I suspect that it is not so will still need customizing but if someone knows please comment. The listings make it appear these are Factory RE products but I think only the ring is RE. I could be wrong though, if someone knows please comment.

HELP....HELP...I DO THIS BECAUSE NO ONE WILL RESPOND JUST GIVE ME LIKES... My headlight doesn't have that forked wiring for the halo at the 8:14 mark. Just has that red plastic cap and no wire. Someone please help me. I have a 2022 int. Thanks
It looks like Royal Enfield changed the wiring between 2021 and 2022. You may have to identify the Daytime Running light power wire and then wire that directly to the new headlight. I'm not sure where you are from but I've heard that some EU bikes may be wired a bit differently. Sorry I can't help any more than that. Hopefully someone who has a bike similar to yours will add to the discussion. Thanks for watching.
@@losttogether4ever Thanks for replying I’m in Texas. I watched another video different halo light but same wires basically you connect it to one of he leads that are on the headlight the single prong that goes into the outlet looking thing. You can get a jumper or splice it some how. I just took the supplied white light cable and put it in the same slot in the outlet and shared it with one of the prongs. Sorry don’t know technical names.

Also weird, my version of this in the UK the beams are the reverse of yours, on low beam the bottom three light up, and on hi beam the top three 🤷🏻♂️

Yes, I'd say it's about half the weight of the original, the original has a glass reflector whereas the new one has a plastic projector.

They sell a headlight that comes with a chrome circle housing so hopefully don't need to customize.
