Steve, how about a lesson on Supercoven? That's such an amazing gem from their early years and there are no proper tabs/lessons floating anywhere on the internet. That'd be so sick!!! Thanks so much for your work!
i picked this out by ear and almost got it, i like to pick the D chord once instead of twice and then slide up slower to make it a bit more sludgy. awesome to see the proper way to play it though, the lessons have helped me heaps.
I can't understand why you even haven't tried to play solo. I know it seems to be very easy and primitive, but it's totally uplifting imo. That is the time when the monster is starting to act and something has to be done about it. It's crucial moment in that song
Can you make a 1000mods - Road to burn lesson? I think that they're a great band and deserve some recognition from the stoner community , love your videos keep up the good work!

Is it a problem to tune down on a guitar that isnt modded to that tunning like from standard down to something else? Such a noob question but was wondering since a lot of songs these genres are not in standard
Not a problem, but playability, tuning stability, and tone will suffer the further you go due to lack of strong tension. A set of 9’s might get you down to D and a set of 10s might get you down to C#. I’d suggest getting a set of 12-56 strings and having a guitar professionally setup in C-standard. That will allow you to float the tuning from C#-Standard to B-Standard while maintaining playability.
I don’t think it’s worth enough to ever sell! You see a couple pop up on Reverb every month. The used to be about $275-325 but I think $400 is probably more typical these days. ‘89-‘95 Epiphone G400 MIK.
How do you effectively use B standard on an sg? I can barely use drop C on my LP. (I know, thicker strings, but even 54’s can get floppy on c standard or lower)
Increase string gauge and have your nut slots cut properly to accommodate. I typically use 12-56 in B-Standard. If that is too light try 13-65 (too heavy for me). A wound 3rd string is also common.
I got a question Steve, matamp owner to another, when you run the super fuzz into it on the boost mode, are you using a lot of amp gain? Or is your volume just maxed out? I’m having a bit of trouble getting that post dopethrone wizard sound.
I’m a Christian so I shouldn’t like this, but I just love the vocals and guitars and drums from this band!!! I just don’t like the lyrics cuz it goes against my religion but yeah overall fucking amazing band!!! 🤘🤘🤘

It is also very easy to transfer to other tunnings
Very cool lesson Steve!!!🤘🤘🤘
Thanks, Chris. Glad you enjoyed it man.
Glad I’m not the only one that uses 12-56 for B standard on a Gibson scale. I thought I was an oddball.
Got that same guitar and pedal , love it , another great lesson brother. Thanks!! \m/
Thanks, Mike. Love them both for sure.
I gave my G400 away to a kid that needed a geet. Hope it’s appreciated, was a fun geet.

The title has a typo. It says "B standard" tuning.

How much for the SG? I’ve been coveting that axe since I first peeped it.

I got a beautiful white Epiphone G400 Pro for around $500 I believe. Great great guitar.
Proceed

We're almost halfway to having lessons for witchcult today in its entirety can't wait for the chosen few
I think I almost taught that one at one point. I learned it for sure. Will get it tabbed out at least.
I see Wizard, I go learn it. Simple as that.
Hope it was helpful.

Thanks. Tour shirt from a few years ago.
@@DoesItDoom Jimmy Bower and Kirk Windstein are doing a meet and greet next weekend in Tampa. I'm super stoked.

For this lesson I was using my OR120 OD, which has less bass and less gain than my GT120MV. Gain on the amp was right at noon, MV was about 3 o’clock.
I play a 7 string .....guitar does it doom??? Hell 🤘yes!!
Nice! 🤘👺
