Hi. I’ve just received my Bianca. Loving it! How often would you recommend cleaning the group head? I have read conflicting advice.
Backflushing without detergent (Daily)
Backflushing with detergent (ca. after 400-500 coffees)
Cleaning of filter equipment (ca. After 400-500 coffees)

Do we also get an additional benefit of reducing limescale in the boiler, by using the hot water from the boiler to clean the filter holders which would mean the boiler will refill with fresh water? This would help minimise limescale... Is that correct?
In the user manual for MaraX the backflushing with detergent powder is described under the section Weekly cleaning. Maybe that is too often for me if I only brew 10 espressos per week.
Hello. Is it a good idea to do a single backflushing with just water (without soap) everytime i make espresso shot?

Why do you use a device to remove the filter from the filter holder. In my coffee machine PL62 it is not necessary, it comes out without effort, but I suppose it is because I removed a circular wire that comes from the factory. Do I have to leave that wire in place?

Should the shower head and gasket be removed and cleaned along with the filters and filter holder?

Hi guys! How to execute an internal descaling procedure? The hot water comes out with bad taste since few days. We use bottle water here but minerals might still be too high and could have cause scaling. Can help?

Hello Lelit, I have noticed that during the back flush process, the lever becomes really stiff and feels like it needs lubrication. After performing it, the lever felt almost like before. Is that normal? I received the machine 3 weeks ago and I performed my first back flush yesterday. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I would like some clarification (best advice) on making this ordinary cleaning. Extended manual for Mara X calls it a "weekly cleaning", but in the comments below you suggest doing it once a month. That is a huge difference! Which would be best? I personally make 30-50 double espressos per week with Mara X. Can you advise?
HI Kamil, please note that this process is very important for the longevity of the machine. However, the frequency of the procedure depends on the quantity of the coffee extraction and on how the machine is used. Considering your coffee shots, we suggest you execute the backflushing procedure twice a month and keep the group head clean after each erogation. Thank you, LELIT Team.
silly question: when do you start to count down the 10 sec? the moment you activate the lever or the moment the pressure hits 10bar?
When you activate the lever. The machine takes about 10 sec to hit 10 bar so you could also just stop it when max pressure has been reach.

Hi. Like other watcher stated, I've noticed that, during the cleaning process, the lever actuation becomes noisy; like it needed lubrication. However, after the cleaning process, the lever stopped doing the noise. Is this Ok or I need greasing the lever?. Thx!.

Hello. If I perform a chemical backflush, is it necessary to disassemble the lever every time to grease the cam?
My Mara is new (about 5 weeks) and I am going to perform my first chemical backflush. I am wondering I I need to disassembly the lever and grease it.

Hello, it's not necessary to diassemble and lubricate the cam every time you run a backflush, you will notice when the parts need lubrication, the lever will make a strange noise and it will be hard to move. LELIT team
Does the machine have to be warmed up? Not enough info in this video.

Non capisco perché ripetere l'operazione 10 volte se sulle istruzioni del PuliCaf è specificato "5 volte". Così si fa solo confusione.

@@LELIT_Official Vi ringrazio. Un' ultima domanda: quando ho acquistato la vostra macchina mi è stato abbinato un tubo della PuliCaf. Nelle istruzioni è indicato di inserire 5g di prodotto nel filtro cieco per effettuare la pulizia. Confermate questa quantità oppure per le vostre macchine è necessario agire diversamente?
