  • The operations for LELIT Bianca PL162T are:
    1. I heat up the machine
    2. I put a container under the group head and the water wand
    3. I turn off the machine
    4. I lift the brew lever and turn the water wand knob fully open
    5. I wait until no more water is coming from the group head and the water wand
    6. I close the lever and close the water wand knob.

      hi in the mara you can remove the water from the steam service boiler, not from the exchanger

    • @kanavjuneja2638
      @kanavjuneja2638 3 года назад

      @@lelitinsider2977 So is there no other way to empty the exchanger? Also, in my machine, I see the hot water tap is connected to the top of the boiler, with a teflon tube. Not like the video, where the tap is connected to the bottom of the boiler with a copper pipe. In this case, simply opening the tap won't empty the steam boiler, no?

      if the machine is not used for more than one month, it is advisable to replace the water.

    Hi Lelit insider, I moved over the weekend and when I reinserted the water tank for the basic start up, the water light just keeps flashing and it does not move on to heating the water. I have looked through the manual and there is NOTHING in there regarding this issue. I cannot remove the water as you did in the video as there is not heat or pressure as it is stuck on the 1st start up step. I did empty the exchange valve as you showed in the video.
    I really have no idea what to do. If you could please advise something to check or steps to take, I and the coffee gods would be incredibly grateful. :D
    BTW your OPV adjustment video really took my espresso game to a new level, so thanks.

    So, if I empty the steam boiler, because I want to refresh the water inside. After the boiler is emptied, I have to go through the startup procedure to fill it up again, just like it is written in the manual (turn on the machine; wait max. 4 minutes for the pump; use lever for at least 30 seconds)?
    Btw. the reason of the water refreshment is because I bought this machine, it is brand new, but from the water tap, little black particles came out (I forget to test with magnet to see if it is metallic particles or not)... I'm not sure if it is normal or not, but I want to wash it out and let's see if it is coming back.

    • @lelitinsider2977
      @lelitinsider2977  Год назад

      after the first start-up you can simply empty the boiler.
      the pump will fill the boiler.
      at this stage the heating element will be off
      for your case I recommend flushing the boiler for a few days.

    • @aronszimplan7223
      @aronszimplan7223 Год назад +1

      @@lelitinsider2977 Thanks for the answer. :) I flushed the boiler multiple times and the particles are gone. I hope it stays like this.
      Btw. Should I replace the water periodically inside the steam boiler if I rarely steam or use the water tap? There are roumors around the internet that standing water inside the steam boiler can develop bad taste over time, so it is a good practice to replace at least monthly or even weekly. What do you think about this?
      P.S. I also want to inform Lelit, that I'm very satisfied with Mara X. It is a well built, quality machine and the innovative temperature stabilization solution is best in the market. This is the thing what HX was needed for a long time imo. Nice work Lelit!

    Hey lelit insider! When I open the bottom valve, no water comes out. I made sure the group lever was open. I blew and sucked on it with a straw, but nothing happens. Any idea as to what may be causing this?

    • @lelitinsider2977
      @lelitinsider2977  11 месяцев назад +1

      Could it be that since there is no pressure, the water is not coming out?
      I recommend that you contact a technician,
      you would have to try to turn on the pump to see if the water comes out

    Hey @lelitinsider2977! Excuse me for writing here, but I have a problem. I followed the video instructions to drain my machine, in preparation to transport it, since I moved apartments.
    Machine was empty and dry for a couple of days through transport, and now when I wanted refill and use it again in my new place it does this:
    ruclips.net/user/shortsx1boZd_oqxU
    It just does not want to come up to pressure / temperature. I can feel the group-head warming up, heat comes from inside the machine, but no pressure is building inside the boiler, and can't even hear the typical boiling sound. Grouphead dispenses water fine, but no steam / hot water, since there's no pressure in the boiler.
    I definetly think I closed the valve, since I beleive, it would leak otherwise.
    Can you suggest something? Someone mentioned water drying up might have calcified the three-way solenoid, could that be the case?
    Thanks for reading.
