- In this wait for Infinity Train to return to Cartoon Network, we should revisit and examine the first 10 episodes! Our rewatch has stemmed more than a breakdown of the season, but a separate video all about the Infinity Train itself! How much do we know so far about the nature of the train, alongside One-One, The Conductor, Steward, Atticus, The Cat and more?

The way that the train cars move around, I think, maybe the conductor or maybe just the train itself studies the person in question and then moves train cars around to what you need the most. So once you get through one thing, the next car you go to will already have been pre-selected to help you grow more as a person, until your number hits zero. It's like a Therapy Train....

the orbs are i think a reference to *object oriented programing* . its normally used in game design to organize code by pairing code with the object they deal with. given the whole game design camp thing i think this was a deliberate nod and shows they did research into game programing.
I know some people look down on OOP, but I really like it. It's an easy way to organize your code (as long as you don't overdo it).
@@TayoEXE why do people look down on it so much? I like both.
Owen Dennis is actually an avid modder and mini-game designer. That's why he made Tulip a game designer, and her first game was apparently his first game.
I'm willing to bet money that any and all references and parallels to game design are entirely deliberate, so... nice catch!

Sounds like a good name, but it isn’t nothing. It is a desert, and possibly another dimension.
How bout when we speak about it we just leave a pause implying both the nothing of the pause in speech and yet the infinite possibilities of how to interpret it. So I guess what I’m saying is when addressing the space you would say “The...”.

But one one keeps calling the train 'mother', wouldn't that mean the train itself made one one?
This was actually just a play on the fact that he was removed from the motherboard. I think Owen Dennis calling the train magic could mean more along the lines of “We don’t know the science, therefore it is magic.” Sort of like if you showed a smartphone to someone from Medieval times. They’d assume it was witchcraft.
Honestly, it doesn't matter if it's magic or science because at the end of the day, the Infinity Train is real and so is everyone else, and who knows, mabey the strange being that created the train had technology so advanced, it classified as magic, adfter all, magic is just an advanced form of science, both can create things, both can destroy things, both are easily messed up, both require secret formulas normally, both can be hacked as if magic was real there would be spells to control someone else's or erase all magic in a specific area. There are so many other similarities that allow me and many others to believe that Science and Magic are 1 and the same, it's just another type of 1-1, both are complete opposites and yet exactly the same and all in all they can both control a towering force when working together
What I find more interesting is the story of whoever build the train. What was the intention behind it?
@@Nitram4392 Well as we can see it comes to people that have suffered loss so great that they might be close doing something along the lines of suicide. So mabey the train was built to help people that are suffering, that are lost in a way. And I believe that the train generates new cars for every possible outcome to make sure they have every type of car for every type of person and 1-1 generates cars at such a pace that after a while of normal carss other cars appear and soon it gets to the random cars
So basically, a PG futuristic version of Silent Hill.

My question is who made the train? Where did it come from? How did it get to the desert? Why does it have cannons on the front of it? Why does the train look different depending on who it appears to? What happened before trains were invented? Where is the train going? Could you reach the back of the train? And where does the material for the orbs and by extension the new cars come from?
When the trailer was out I was 10 and when I watched it I was so scared because of this thing with arms. Now that I’ve watched it I love it! It’s an amazing show and I’m so excited for the next season!
The Train has to be the creation of some alternate dimensional beings that wanted to create new realities, but they're not very imaginative so the Train seeks out individuals who wish make their own worlds to live in.
The train reminds me of the Holideck from Star Trek. I recall in Star Trek and a few other shows there being times people would find simulated worlds they could add to or delete parts of by adding and removing bits of program. Kind of like how the orbs work. Also the Holideck could make things real enough but at the same time not real enough to leave the room. the rules were weird then too.
If u go into the lil train in real life it takes u to the other dimension basically the big train is inside the lil train and it’s jus one cart 🤯
Very high expectations were placed on this show and it delivered 100% in my opinion. Great characters, phenomenal voice acting, a wonderfully creative concept and setting, gorgeous animation, and a charming balance of comedy and drama. I really am curious to see what happens in the next season. Will we see an older version of Tulip dealing with another issue in her life or will we see another passenger trying to escape? So many intriguing elements to think about.
Adventure time had an infinity train first.
And it was better. With only 11 mins to spare.
Hey Do you remember that person who had fallen out of the train through that wormhole? Does that mean there are many people stuck on the train?
Nooooooooooooo
Being sarcastic btw
It's pretty obvious they say multiple times in the show
One thing easy to miss about the steward.
When we first meet it and it’s face gets kicked open you can see a empty round space big enough for one one to possibly control it or be a passenger.
One one clearly knows how and has a desire to repair the cars so using a non hacked steward to fix the cars makes since.
I all your videos you are the best cartoon mystery solvers
I think the living creatures in the cars are created differently from the cars themselves, by loading an orb into those guns you see and shooting like a robot prototype with it to turn it into the real thing. For instance, Atticus would be created by shooting a robot dog with a corgi orb.
The building in picture at 1:38 is in Tbilisi, Georgia, was built during soviet Union around 1985, used to be a technical library, architect G.Bichiashvili
Took me a hour to watch the whole series. Now I can finally watch this!
The air train car, it’s literally nothing but air and a holographic roof to look like the sky. Step in and you’ll fall in an infinite wind tunnel made to feel like you’re always falling or flying.
To me the biggest mystery was the cat.
She's the only one seen with passenger tapes. Where do they come from?
She's willing to help both Amelia and Tulip, what exactly does she want? What's her motive?
The cat is able to maneuver around train cars freely with her shuttle, something no other character does.
Does she play a big role in the train, similar to the conductor or the stewart?
I would care more if she had an interesting or likeable personality. Things like that are more important that just lore for lore sake.
*_[what the infinity train is? I think... um... it's a human... hmm... communication device!?]_*
Wow in early!!! And I'm waiting for this!!!
what should have happened at the end is... amelia should have walked up to tulip for a hug at the end and pushed her out the way then jump through the portal and then tulip has to go on a adventure to trap her back inside the train
regarding the comment "the train is al mechanical, not magical": it is likely both. You pointed out rooms like corginia which is much larger than the cart that would contain it. If such spacial distortion is not magical than what is. You may think that the space is a mere illusion created by the orbs, but we see Tullip cross a looong distance (further than the space from the music cart) so I would beg to differ. Then there is also the number on Tullips hand, the exit door, the goo monster that could pick up Tullip and travel at high speed with her inside it...
The only other explanation other than magic, is that she got trapped in some sort of Virtual simulation. And by that logic still is because she still doesn't have a shadow once she found the exit. So this seems unlikely to me
The excitance of the train is a big mystery especially you go on life changing adventure on train in another dimension. I have theory that maybe Tulip will return on the train she could even help one-one make new cars with her sweet coding skills anyway this is just my thoughts
I think it’d be really cool if two (or even more) passengers cross paths in a car in future seasons. they could travel together and help each other. could get some emotional drama when one is clearly succeeding more with their number than the other and when one eventually gets to 0 before the other
Personally I feel it’d be easier to cope with something if I *wasn’t* ripped away from my friends and family and basically kidnapped by a train but you know that’s just my opinion
Extraterrestrial Content but in this context she feels hurt by her family and makes the personal decision to run away, and the train only comes if you do anything to insinuate you’re just running away from your problems
SirPigalicous lol it was a joke but good point
I meant to say love your videos
From what i saw in the show is that every number that pops up on tulips hand is a prime number except the first number which is 115 which is a semi-prime number (which means the number that times together to make 115 are both primes). I just found it interesting that every number that popped up on her hand was a prime, because this couldn't happen on accident there has to be a reason.
The real question here is, did she actually arrive at the gaming camp after getting off the train?
Jeffrey C No it she was on the train for months. At the end of the season that’s camp *the year after* the initial day she was going to camp in the first episode
@@extraterrestrialcontent The train did say her destination would be Oshkosh. Also, we don't have any proof that time moves one the outside while in the train.
In episode 3 she did say “I don’t even want to go to gaming camp anymore, I just wanna go home” and then Atticus gave her some advice about things falling into place. Also we DO have proof that time moves in real time in the train, Owen Dennis; the creator of the show, says it does.
@@kelnhide then wouldn't her parents report her missing or worry about her?
Inspector512 who’s to say they didn’t? There was a time skip of seven months after she got out of the train, we don’t know what her parents’ reactions were when she got home
Loved it, great show! Glad they finally made a series for kids that doesn't talk down to them.
One-one referred to Tulip as being hatched so maybe there's some sort of machine on the train that can create eggs. Or the cockroach dogs are just a native species to the desert and their harvested to create the plants and animals on the train.
My theory about the train picking up people looking different is that it’s not the train there at all. It’s a simulation of a train, with only the door being slightly physical. So, whenever a train gets simulated in the real world, it taps into what each person thinks a train should look like. Tulip is from a small town in Wisconsin, so the train she sees are blocky, made to carry cargo. Emilia is from a city, so the train she sees is a passenger train, sleek and fast-looking.
I like the idea that the train is a "test" and each train cars are some kind of giant "testing room", like in Portal !

Passenger : . . .
The guns on the front of the smaller train suggest that it is specifically designed to alter its environment, it more or less appears to function just as a visual cover for the mechanisms that transport a passenger to the real train. As for the food and water thing, the traincars remind me of the holodecks from Star Trek. They called the characters in those rooms holograms, but they were more than just light and sound, they were a combination of transporter, replicator, and force field tech. They were partially alive because they contained real flesh replicated by a machine. The train is similar, but since objects and individuals can leave their cars, the replicated organisms must be complete enough to survive without the presence of their orbs. Outside his car, the stewardess or anybody else could probably remove Atticus’ orb without him knowing and replace it, probably rebooting the car to replace Atticus with a new one.
I think the orbs are only encoded with the details of how the objects work, instead of what they're like, so characters like atticus are really alive with their personality and everything. Because atticus was turned into one of those bug like creatures from outside the train with the monster gun, i think that all of the living creatures were once bug creatures turned into the different creatures with the monster gun, like how we saw orbs for the turtle and dog, there would probably be an orb for each creature. Only the ones with numbers existed outside without needing to be converted via monster gun.
Actually, the train is a stand named "One on one Requiem". It is one of the strongest stand. The stand owner is nowhere to be seen it is still a mystery. Some even say the owner already gone and the stand move without owner. Some says, the owner sleep somewhere in the train.
@TheRoundtable . what if the Infinity train is like the Velvet Room from persona 4. And its "Dimension" is a realm between mind and matter while mixed with the world of Limbo from Dante's inferno. And the Like you said in the video the train is to teach the person about not only about change but their true self. The train is "The journey to discover themselves."
in my opinion i think the train changes form when presenting itself to people to something more common looking and believable as a normal train, feather than a huge dystopian freight train
In Amelia's tape they had no change to call a cab. They played a certain note to confuse the system and change it, aka to call a cab. The steward is controlled to stop or start using that theme, so either Amelia encountered the steward before and told The Cat she remembers that there's a way to control systems using a theme, and The Cat remembered how to, or something else told her such as a note from one one. The cat makes more sense because that could be how she got to the conductor, played the theme when she encountered the steward, and told the steward to take one one out of controls after he refused to make a car for him. She may have attempted to take one one out but it did not work, so she told the steward to. In the final episode the steward once again tries to take one one out of the controls but plays that theme which stops the steward, which is how one one was removed. One one has knowledge of how to stop the steward and uses the theme to prevent him from being taken out again.
It's actualy pretty interesting to think that despite the fact that the train could have been runing for years or even forever, that shining orb in the sky (the one that generates the portals) is always at its side, I'm thinking maybe the train loops around it on an infinite closed loop. Who knows, it could even be the source of power for the train to run and matter for the orbs to create objects; maybe the orbs don't create things out of the blue, but rather bring objects from other universes.
Or maybe not, it's passed 2:30 AM, just writing random stuff X)
BTW, has anyone notice that the orbs are like one one and when one one is out back in place like the orbs, everything is fixed and the same is with the blue orbs, is one one just a sentient blue orb?
This reminds me heavily of Snowpiercer. Yeah because of the train but also, it never stops, it has vast cars filled with all kinds of wild shit, it’s self sustainable, it’s in a dead world, and you cant leave the train or you’ll die. Bunch of other comparisons but I’d be typing all day. The sound track though, the second I heard the official opening I was like “It Follows... Disasterpeace is that you? How did they get you for this show” and then I look it up and it’s a completely different guy. I LOVE the show and honestly having the sound track remind me of It Follows every time only makes it better for me. Every time Tulip entered a car I was waiting for Timothy to duck behind something or run up past the camera, especially in the ball pit car. Ugh what a good ass show
I think the orbs only make up the world's and not the beings living inside them
The Infinity Train, whether it is a real or imaginary concept, seems to be a representation of escapism and trying to escape from that escapism if that makes sense. I felt this show hit me hard as I have noticed that way I handle my life sometimes when it gets overwhelming and isn't going the ideal way I thought it was going. When a major change in her life occurred with her parents' divorce, she was not looking at her memories as they really were, trying to ignore the signs of her parents' fights. She tried to escape from that by saying that's not really what happened. Those like Tulip and Amelia, are stuck in an endless cycle that really takes them nowhere. They're on a train ironically enough, but it has no destination other than to hold different worlds and cars that can go beyond reality. When people have not just learned their lesson but have found a way to move on and escape from their endless escapism, then they leave the train too. This is evident with Amelia who tried to create her old life when she was happy and with her husband. It's very relateable. "I don't want to live in a world without him..." Our infinity trains could be anything from video games, surfing the internet for hours to occupy us, alcohol, watching RUclips video after RUclips video, etc.
The corgi orb in Emilia's car just created an image of a corgi and the guns just make things look like corgis, like a corgi shaped computer. Going back to the trains ability to manipulate actual things, I think that the sentient things in the train are real and have just been changed by the train into their current form.
It is magic.magics just really advanced tech
As Clarke's Third Law puts it: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
@@AnnikaCoyucoCutecats i made a reference from doctor who. Where the opposite is also true.that sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology.
I swear, every time I get reminded of Infinity train, one time I made a 12 seriously big a** wide cars in Minecraft and it got all deleted because of some storage.. welp time to go all the way to 1 again
the train helps with emotional issues this reminds me when finn mertins went on a infinity train to vent/deal with his problems.
I love this show so much! If there is a season 2 I hope One-One calls her for help to help the others talk to them like she did Amelia if not I hope it will focus on each person like if that happens I would like them focus on Amelia
Not gana lie i loved it
One one controls the steward by going inside it’s face, it’s round inside for one one to go inside of the steward
I think the orign of the train is us human after millions of years get the power to do something like the train and when they were building it some body changed its coding so it helps people but they had to move to another planet
I think the train *runs* on mental instability. If your mental health improves (goes down to 0) you can no longer power the train and it lets you go. The higher your number (the more unstable you are) the more valuable you are as a power source.
But how does the train choose people? There are plenty of unstable people or people at low points in their lives. The train would be a more well known phenomenon if it took people only based on that parameter.
*It takes people whos disappearances will not be questioned.*
Tulip had a rocky home life and ran away into the wilderness in winter. No one would be shocked if she never came back.
Amelia just lost her husband in their honeymoon phase and wasn't talking to anybody, she didnt even go to his funeral. If she disappeared, most would assume suicide.
Drogone you deserve a Grammy for this comment
i think tulip goes to the programming camp with her friends, but her friend has issue's, and tulip notices the train, and boards it after her friend does, tough in a different cart due her being late and the train nearly leaving
her friend meets mirror tulip, {she exclaims that its a LOOONG story, maybe for another day}
after going trough multiple carts together they finally meet OG tulip
“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” Arthur C. Clarke
Hii hope you having a good day
What's with the blaster on the front of the train and what did transform they cockroach dogs from in the first episode
