I have been using my 2018 polaris Ranger 900xp for trapping along the atv trails here in northern Wisconsin. I also use it for plowing snow off my driveway and a little trail riding with the wife. I love the Ranger for trapping. The bench seat makes it very easy getting in and out. The box is plenty big enough for all my gear for trapping and plus more. It also helps from beating up my pickup.
Hey Todd thanks for sharing this. I am pretty close to making a purchase for this same model. Wanted to ask about the engine noise? Im hearing its pretty loud?
Dust is a factor for everyone, dirt bikes, arcs and they have no windshield man lol… it’s really not a big deal… however I respect your personal preference I just wouldn’t say it’s a must for dust lol🤜🏻

I don’t think it’s too bad. Maybe not as quiet as a Commander but much better than my CFMOTO
Perfect. Thanks for the feedback!
Does the windshield seal tightly at the top with the roof? Thanks for the video.
Where did you get the roof I can’t find that kind only flat steel or canvas types
Factory Yamaha
@@toddstrohecker figured you would say that they out of stock and dealer doesn’t have one. Thanks
Nice machine guess it all depends on where your trapping me personally I prefer my quad a lot narrower for maneuvering in tighter areas
i recommend a 4500 warn vrx winch imo
👍
