- Orangutan Kalimantan Tengah berhasil diselamatkan dari penyelundupan oleh tim Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Jawa Timur dan dikembalikan ke Kalimantan Tengah untuk selanjutnya akan menjalani sekolah hutan di Suaka Margasatwa Lamandau.
The Central Kalimantan orangutan was successfully rescued from smuggling by a team from the East Java Natural Resources Conservation Center and returned to Central Kalimantan and will then undergo forest school at the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve.

I love watching primates like this getting rescued, but great apes (Gorillas, Chimpanzrees, Orangutans, Bonobos, and Gibbons) I especially enjoy because we are s closely related to them. Baby Orangs are about the cutest thing ever, and since they're slow (relatively) they can't just bolt away like a chimp can.
