Alot of the rear axles are not ment to be serviced , but if can get the proper oil may see if changable . Hilly here and most of the small ones do not make it long
If I’m not mistaken from past experience, if I were you, I would try to swap the brackets from each hood and use the bracket from the pre-existing hood that was on it before the one you put on it because if I remember correctly and I could be wrong, but there’s a difference between the brackets, which will help you with the distance between the dash and the hood if I’m not mistaken It’s been a while, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been through this before with a smashed up Hood.

Like most mowers with kohler 7000 series engines …… they like to cut at max rpm’s
That’s not the same hood so that chart doesn’t match that mower for the drive belt
