So I’m late as usual. I’m 59 but heard Filter live on Freaks tour this year 2024. Had never heard of them or this song. Now one of my favorite songs. Thanks for the lesson! Slowly learning it.
I love it when a song pops into my head that I wanna learn, and you're the first on the search results! Got it down within 15 minutes. This has been a favorite of mine for years and I never thought to learn it til last night 30 minutes before bed. hahaha
This is one of my favourite songs of all time, and amongst all the things I love about it what really stands out to me is the incredible simplicity of it. It's so good. Thanks for the tutorial.
I want to sincerely thank you for this, and all your other lessons. I'm totally playing this song and really appreciate your teaching style and general laid back approach!! Peace and Health to you!!
While I was listening and trying to replicate, I couldn't figure out what I kept missing. I heard the electric and found a couple ways to do it but this vid did nail. Thanks my brother.
It’s a great great song, always like this song ... thank you for wandering outside the lines a smidge . For some reason I thought if People are strange by the doors ... while you where in there soft rockin’... probably cause we are the people and yes we are a little strange
Best tutorial on this song I’ve ever seen. Now I know exactly what the hell I’m doing. This song has a special place in my heart and I’m so glad I know it in its entirety now. Thank you! -Sincerely, somebody that never learned chords.
That's a good lesson. I could drink a beer with this guy. Good vibes all around. Right, BM? Feeling a bit peckish now, I do believe I hear a pastrami sandwich calling me. Cheers all.
dude i love your vids but the chorus chords are not good. my terminolgy isnt great but try A sus (open B string, then D sus (open high E) then B (instead of 3rd fret on B string full bar so its 2nd fret B string) the G i dont know what to call it but try 3rd fret low E, mute A, open D, 2nd fret G , 3rd fret B. these chords sounds VERY much like the recording. your chords especially the Bm does not fit at all.

Good video, fun song, can I request Tomorrow by Silverchair?
thanks Cory! Definitely - great request. I checked it out, it'll be a good lesson :)
Great video. Also, Tony horton sends his regards.
haha thanks michael
The extent of my Filter knowledge is that their singer is the brother of Robert Patrick of Terminator 2 fame.
haha that's way more than I!
Really? Didn't know that I just knew the singer from filter used to be in nine inch nails
That's a good lesson. I could drink a beer with this guy. Good vibes all around. Right, BM? Feeling a bit peckish now, I do believe I hear a pastrami sandwich calling me. Cheers all.
:)
Great video, but who is BM?
thanks. I would imagine whoever requested this song
Dude, you're cool!
dude, thanks :)
I play it totally different with slides
Didn't get the pastrami reference, but I did get the "Who's Line is It Anyway?" reference
haha i have no idea what pastrami related thing I might have been talking about
Helo kermit
Props to the Eddie Vedder Tele!
Wish you did a close up on your guitar. Just to clarify what youre doing.
Dang it, did anyone get the reference?
hehe nope :) it's a really dumb one. P90x plyometrics
Fuel
that's exactly what i was referring to :)
Thanks for commenting... it probably looks like a pretty random and confusing reply to anyone who didn’t watch the lesson in its entirety.

That does sound good
Great, besides, Chorus chords sound too happy.
a matter of context Mr. B - things sound different without the rest of the track around them
@@RyanLendt You are correct and I appreciate your reply :)
I want to know the meaning of Pastrami sandwich reference now......
haha dumb line in p90x plyometrics. that's why it was worth so many points :P
BM 👍 lol
Brian Meeks
Thank's bro
you're welcome Bro - good request :)
Lol I can’t hear bud to much talking
DON'T FIRE THE GUN WHILE YOU'RE TALKING! (naked gun)
And yet you never play the whole thing in full so we could actually hear how it sounds, and you do it wrong lol but okay
Fuel
jimmy tell her what she's won!
@@RyanLendt A pastrami sandwich and a lifetime supply of P90X DvDs!
