Nobody can force an adult to take medication. People can advocate with courts for a51/50 , a psychiatric hospital hold but I think that is only good for 48 hours. The only people to blame in murders by an adult suspect is the suspect.

I get so sick of people trying to use low IQ to excuse for a lack of morals. If indeed the accomplice had been a good person put in a bad situation he would have went to the cops himself and told them what happened. His story about fearing for his life might have been believable then.
Generally agree, but I could see him being genuinely frozen into silence. Frankly, the idea of encouraging those two to spend time together was a poor one. I think it would’ve been obvious.
@michaelknight1308 What is the point of auto correct if it does not work when you oops LOL. I corrected it and thank you, you clearly work better than my phone.
I dont think its used as excuse, definitely not for moral. Low IQ makes it harder to understand all possible consequences, keep track of fast moving situations and makes you easier to manipulate, and so on. You dont have to like it, but courts take it into account for a good reason.
@@janemiettinen5176 Indeed your IQ might indeed impact your choice in the moment. If that boy had done the right thing he likely would not be in prison for life. His story of fearing for his life becomes believable because he had shown morality over covering up a crime.

"Its because he was diagnosed majorly depressed and had a head injury" If that was the case, i should be a stone cold murderer by now. To legit just shoot someone and bury them with no remorse has nothing to do with either of what she says, it has to do with a chemical imbalance that makes that person a monster like all past serial killers before him. If they had known he depressed and stuff why was he not on medication and being watched if the family had so much worry. Seems to me like judt another rich kid thinking they can get away with anything My thoight and condolences to the victims family and friends, i coulsnt imagine having to go through all this to get a verdict and some sort of peace.

Instead of being an accomplice, why didn’t his cousin report him and save lives. I recall how a young man in my kids HS was a great student and track star. His family was very poor. He decided to sell marijuana to buy uniforms, transportation, and food. He was killed by a guy seeking more than marijuana. The man killed him just a few blocks from home for drugs he didn’t have.
10:24 wait a minute his Parents knew he had violent thoughts and allowed him to get weapons. That should of been red flagged. Background checks and automatic reporting of all mental health conditions.
Who bought the guns for him or let him use them? If the parents did along with giving him access to all the murder avenues, then they should have been charged with something.
My question is what is going to happen to his parents they need to held accountable for what there son has done. They gave him access to everything the guns, and the land. If the mom new something was wrong with her son. then why allow him to use a gun.
When your son has become such a frightening & unpredictable person that an exorcism seems like an appropriate next step, you need to do better than to leave him on his own with guns & ammo & too much money. These parents failed to protect the community from the monster they KNEW was living in their own home.
I wonder if this was a poor country boy if the families would have had those dollar signs in their eyes? Exorcisms, wow, maybe a witch doctor if that doesn't work. The Psychiatrist would have been sued if he continued or stopped the killer's medications. Personal responsibility is dead in this country so in cases like this just follow the money.
Nobody else is questioning how/why Seans attorney brought up the fact that Sean was previously shot 19 times and only weighing 118 lbs.Seems like an important detail...
“‘No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognised by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn-bushes, or grapes from briers. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Luke 6:43-45 This young man did not fear God, he did not believe that killing these men was evil so he killed them as the devil commanded him to. His heart was set on evil so he did evil. He called for help but the Catholics do not believe the words of Jesus Christ so they were unable to help him. I remember watching the news when they were recovering the bodies and being completely disgusted by hearing about the details of this crime. I also remember being super impressed by the DA in how he took control of the investigation and how he handled the press.
DA's never ever ever let a tragedy go to waste. All of them have political motivations. This same DA would more then likely go after and innocent person if it meant furthering his clime up a political ladder.
@ConwayTwitter Exactly. I shot an armed man who was breaking into my home. This guy not only had kicked in my door, and had a gun, but had also just gotten out of prison for doing the same thing a few months earlier. It was an election year and the DA was circling me like a shark. I mean he was really considering going after me to make an example out of (he was a democrat in a blue state) me and and play on the popular buzz words of the day. I did the only thing you can do when a scumbag lawyer is after you. I hired an even dirtier one that he was afraid of. He made 1 call to the DA's office and that put an end to it. It still sucked knowing that he, and other DA's would do that.

bipolar disorder doesn't go into remission. Please stop giving those of us who manage the disorder a bad name by pinning your poor choices and lack of impulse control on it. How shameful and embarrassing not to stand on your own two feet like a man.
Well said my friend!
I don't know much about bipolar disorder. Wouldn't that mean the prescribing psychiatrist had some fault if he was taken off of all of his medications?
Nobody can force an adult to take medication. People can advocate with courts for a51/50 , a psychiatric hospital hold but I think that is only good for 48 hours. The only people to blame in murders by an adult suspect is the suspect.
@@doordee3663 No you can not force anyone to take any medicine. We are all responsable for ourselves. Ppl who have bipolar disorder often are in denial ,until they understand they have to take meds to be more stable it is gonna be up and down ans unstable. @@GD-xc4wg I know medication can't be forced, nor should it. In this video it stated that the psychiatrist took him off of all of his psych meds for bipolar because it was in remission. @bryaneddy5272 said it is not a disorder that goes into remission. I don't know enough about it. It does seem that the psychiatrist holds some responsibility if this is true. That is why psychiatrists make a lot of money, it is a very difficult thing to diagnose and treat mental disorders. Apparently the parents took him to many psychiatrists also. I agree. An IQ of 79 would not even be enough to be able to enlist in our military. The way the guy speaks, you can tell that he's not brilliant but, he is average. Not a functional idiot.
You can tell simply from his speech patterns, articulation and cognition...he's plenty smart enough and also dumb enough. Smart enough to know better and dumb enough to do it anyways and believe he would receive sympathy or mercy, because...."meh, me Stoopid". 😏
He was a public defender. They mentioned it then another public defender took over. Public defender's get paid by the state once the inmate signs any deal or time if the get replaced they don't get anything. parent needs to take a more active role in their children lives... and know what their children are up to.
Well unfortunately we have Narcissistic Selfish people, that are the majority of parents. And they take people that don't belong with them. Usaully this puts a strain on the children an if they split, like clockwork, that can really tear things a part. In other words You made a deal, to be contradictory parents, an now you back out!?!? The kids are confused enough as it is. STUPID!
Whether parents are together or not, whoever is in charge of the kids needs to be in charge of the kids.... know what their kids are doing, know their kids' friends, know who they're interacting with online. If parents aren't together, fine, work cohesively to actually _parent_ your children.
So tragic and heartbreaking for those young victims and their families & friends 💔
He wanted to be a gangster well he ended up where they belong
The parents must hang their heads in shame for raising two monsters. They need to be locked up as well till they accept responsibility.
The fact that in 2017 rich American families were still saying demons must be responsible for their kid's criminal behavior is absolutely wild.
but there are a lot of poor families who say the same thing
A lot rich and poor families say that. A lot of American and non-American families say that as well. Its not exclusively rich families nor is it exclusively American families that say this. Also I’m guessing you’re a poor to lower middle class person from somewhere outside of America…
Also do you not realize that 85% of the world is religious and believes in some kind of faith if thats Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, etc. and theres over 2 Billion Christians. I’m not religious but just saying it kind of shows your ignorance. Not to mention its a grieving mother whos child just admitted to and committed a horrific thing. Basically the worst possible thing a human can do and shes trying to cope with it. Which can also make people think and do many things that might seem odd to others
The fact that anyone believes religious superstitious nonsense in 2017 shows just how stupid most of humanity is.
Cognitive Dissonance
The parents should be charged for giving him guns and bullets when they knew he had a mental illness disorder
Right. He had enough IQ to lure them to the farm under the guise of a drug deal.
My point is after that moment has passed, when it is all over and you are safely back home you have time to think, reflect, feel guilty and have time to decide to do the right thing if you have any moral issue with what happened.
If that boy had done the right thing he likely would not be in prison for life. His story of fearing for his life becomes believable because he had shown morality over covering up a crime.

Yes, he was shot in retaliation for a failed murder attempt, according to Google
I wonder if this was a poor country boy if the families would have had those dollar signs in their eyes? Exorcisms, wow, maybe a witch doctor if that doesn't work.
