- Thank you guys very much for 2,000 subs! Hope you enjoy this little montage I put together. I go a little more in depth in the community tab if you want to check that out!
So for those of you who are confused on why this isn't a finished montage is because my world got corrupted and I wasn't able to record the rest of the game including the Abyss, White Palace, Queen's Garden, etc. And for the life of me I couldn't get the darn dream nail xD

how it feels when you fight the wachter knights for the first time
It took me eight hours to beat them so this is really relatable.
Sky Nightfall my first play through they took me AGES. my second play through took 2 or 3 tries. i was impressed with the difference
I really like hollow knight a lot funfact.. theres a secret room above watcher knights where you can drop a chandelier on one of them, and cut the number of knights down from 6 to 5.. i didnt find it on any of my play throughs.. i found it watching a stream randomly

I really like hollow knight a lot theres one by the colosseum dropped by the Pale Lurker, and theres one in ancient basin on the way to broken vessel. i think thats all 4 combine with the 2 you have. i was awful at first.. its just a matter of practice. still not the best but much much better than i was.

I like to imagine this is taking place in some alternate universe where it's perfectly normal to have gangs of Hollow Knights appearing out of the blue, hell, how about The Radiance and NKG pop in every now and then too? It also seems like story-wise(am I really analysing a randomizer vid???) the Collector's stalking you, prolly wants to put you in a jar.
Also, Grimm just turning into whatever was totally unexpected and I love it.
I've always thought about this being in an alternate universe as well xD

The hollow knights were all made in a hope that one could could really be a true hollow knight, those fools tried one after another until those godly beasts roamed the land in packs, as the radiance grew in strength gifted these new vessels she became no longer confined to the world of dreams, able to project many forms at once, ruling hollownest as a ever present god

I've seen this happen with just about every randomizer to be honest. It's very strange.

A trick! A disguise! Or perhaps, they were even converted the moment you hit them!
It was one of the bugs in deepnest that turns into a spider when you kill it. They are considered different enemy, so the randomizer transforms it when you kill it.
I think the Enraged Guardian is stalking the Knight so he can figure out if he has kermitted a crime.

I find it interesting that the dialogue for NPCs who hint where you should look for certain items (i.e. Mothwing Cloak, Monarch Wings) seem to get modified depending on where said items are. It's a nice bit of attention to detail.

okay. its 6am, i didn't sleep and this is the perfect moment to write lore for a randomizer mod.
several hollow knights is easy explained, the pale king just didn't fuck off and die after the first try. I'd say the Radiance caught on after the first few sealings gone wrong, still infecting the hk and all that followed. but the radiance also got clever to the pk ruse and started hunting down vessels to stop them from becoming strong enough to seal her (and mayhaps succeed). after a few tries, in the lower hundreds really, the pk still dies and a kingdom on its last breath brings grimm there. grimm went tru several reincarnations as baby grimm, got fed by previous hks and all that jazz, but every time a grimm got sacrificed for the ritual, the radiance infects the non-nightmare-king-grimm-possessed grimm, thus making him a normal enemy.
nightmare king grim himself is getting pretty pissed and bored w/ this kingdom so he tries to goat random travellers into beating him and 'finishing the ritual, finally', maybe not getting that the radiance + pale kings stasis = not moving
most of the bosses can be explained by 'radiance too strong, normal mob rules apply' which writes a biblical tale of a giant sun moth really, really wanting to ruin one guys day.
the mantis lords are still normal because no infection and the enraged guardian comes so damn often because he stared too long into the shiny infection crystals
