The photo of Bolton Textile Mills would be about 1973, just before the chimney on the left and the tower were demolished. The rest of the mill had already gone. The other chimney had been shortened in 1969, and was pulled down in 1980. The mill is still there.
Lovely to see these! I was born & brought up in Farnworth and my mum still lives there. Thanks for the memories!
